Great food and great service! Ive been going to Taste for about 5 years! Small and out of the way, I almost didnt find it BUT when I did, Whoop! The place has an Eiffel Tower right in the middle of it as part of decoration, making it super cute and cozy. Chef Claude is from France so he is legit! Hence the name. Lol Awesome Eggs Benedict on the weekends and they have some great daily specials. Chef Claude is also an excellent chef as well as baker. That baking skill is on display in his restaurant when you walk in as well as the smell of baked goods! They are closed on Mondays and are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All in all a great place to eat for a great price!

Over the last several years, my wife and I have eaten more dinners, lunches and breakfasts at Taste of Paris than I can recall. We have never had a disappointing meal. The food is outstanding, and the staff friendly and helpful. In the early years, once in a while the number of diners would exceed the wait staff capacity resulting in some delay, but this has not happened in recent memory. It is gratifying to see the patronage increase to the point where an expansion was necessary. Also, I look forward to my weekly "special" ham and cheese croissant commuter breakfast! Taste of Paris is a local jewel, and should not be Mundeleins "best-kept secret". Steve Weeks, DDS

Traditional Parisian café and bakery serving breakfast and lunch as well as wine and light cocktails. Food was amazing and staff was friendly. Its rather small so if you go when its really busy or with a large group you may have to wait some time. Theres a giant model of the Eiffel Tower in the main dining room and its adorable. In my humble opinion this is one of Lake Countys most flawless hidden gems.

This place is a hidden gem. I was little reluctant to order my babys 2nd birthday cake but went with my gut and the reviews I read (though they were mostly about other pastries and food) and I was not dissapointed at all. To say the least, I was amazed by the delivery. The cake looked and tasted fantastic!! Great job and will definitely be ordering all the cakes here.

Taste of Paris is a hidden gem in Mundelein. My hubby and I visit them every week to pick up some sweets for the week. All of their bakery items are amazing! So fresh and so tasty! The coffee cakes and almond croissants are our favorite. Its also a great place for a romantic dinner! The staff, food, and bakery items are top notch. Dont miss out on this one. :)

This is the best hidden gem in Mundelein. Delicious food that comes from the recipes of the owner/chef, a gentleman who moved from France 30 years ago. The staff is incredibly kind, lovely, and genuinely cares about the people who come to dine. Also, Erica is such a great server with the perfect sense of humor.

Absolutely delicious! Had spinach & mushroom crepes served with very tasty fresh mixed vegetables (orange & yellow carrots, green been, red pepper in a yummy sauce) and seasoned rice. French pastries - excellent selection, best ever. Cant wait to come back for dinner!

Definitely a hidden gem! The food was pretty great as was the service. This place serves some "typical" French food you would learn in French class and of course theres also a piece of the Eiffel Tower (as the name of the establishment would leave you to believe).

Best Strudel Ive ever had. Better than Ive had in Germany and Austria. In downtown Mundelein? The almond coffeecake is another: best coffeecake Ive ever had. They do custom work, too: they built a strawberry-whipping cream-meringue birthday cake for me.

I love this place, and is now my favorite place for breakfast. I tried Taste of Paris a few months ago and was so pleased. Claude is so nice and I have to say Sundays eggs benedict is what I look forward to all week. Thanks Claude!!

The food and pastries are amazing! The coffee is delicious...not bitter. The prices are decent. 4 stars cuz the service is slow and inattentive. Definitely going back to try the creme brulee as they dont sell it to go

Super friendly staff and quick service for the meals they serve. Only an adult menu but most items are suitable for children. A good variety of wine and sodas as well. Love this place and try to go any time I can.

Cannot believe we were lucky enough to stumble on this place. Try the anchovie pizza. Everything was well balanced and even though I cant eat egg or cream I had tasty options in the specials. Wine was fantastic.
