They were busy when I got there after 8 PM. It is a good sign to see lot of Indian people coming for Indian food so I thought. Person who takes order is very polite and new to this business. You can actually see they are still getting used to running this business. I read a good review about this place so I gave it a try. Ive ordered Chicken Biryani. It is a rice dish with spicy chicken. I ordered for to go with naan on the side. Price isnt too expensive, but I wished they wouldnt have charged Naan seperately, however couple more bucks wouldnt kill me if dish is good. Rice was plain without much of sauce. I really shouldve ordered something more soupy. Chicken tasted just like grilled chicken. My only complain is this, I had 1 thigh, 1 leg and 1 wing. I wish there were more pieces of chicken. Ratio of chicken to rice is Chicken 2 : Rice 7 : Sauce 1. Im not a big eater so I couldnt finish full dish. I spared rice for next following day, but I had to make some other dish to eat with remaining rice. I wouldve give more stars if there were more chicken and less rice.

We, (myself, my two year old kid and my wife) had dinner on Thanksgiving day 2016.. It took them 50 minutes to deliver one burnt, half cooked dosa. My kid was hungry and cranky. A little consideration toward a toddler would have been great. We ordered a paneer curry, it was around $9, served with just four cubes of paneer, yes just four in a watery sauce, it was served in a foam bowl. Its totally not worth it. The service was so horrible we had to swarm out of this place as soon as we got the dosa, we were not able to manage our kid. We got the naan bread and the curry first, then the burnt dosa. Best part...We have not received the veg fried rice..They told me 15 more minutes. I paid and couldnt wait any longer to pick it up. I would never go again and I made sure I shared my experience with my friends and colleagues.

Food quality is not that good. Very much interested based on the items provided but very much disappointed. Visited the restaurant two days before ordered Chicken Kothu parota, Chicken Dum Briyani, Kerala Parata, curry, Rasam, Chicken lollipop and etc. Kerala parata was not the same which was expected and it was not fresh when they gave first time. After reporting got another one. Briyani was not good and kothu parata was ok and not to the expected. Other items as well not upto the mark. Really Disappointed !!!!

Food is very good, Channa bhatura was the best out of everything we ordered - made more to cater to south Indian palette. Fruit pastry was yummy as well. Food tastes home made, which makes it a winner! Reason for the 4 stars is price. For casual ambience and self service, prices are as high as sit down restaurants. If price were more reasonable, I believe all tables would be occupied.

Website said the resturant was open. We whent there and the open sign was flashing in the window but the door was locked. Tried calling 2 different phone numbers from the website, one seemed like a cell phone that was turned off the other said thanks for calling and then disconnected the line.

One of the best tasting indian food in north and north west suburbs. Gobhi manchurian, paneer tikka, tava roti , veg biryani all very tasty. We discovered them by accident and are regulars now. Please keep up the good work Bakers Den crew. Good luck to you!!!

We visited Bakers Den today, ambience was very good and music system as well. Ordered Vegetable Briyani with extra spicy and waited for 15 minutes. It came out very well tasty and delicious with all the ingredients in the right amount, had a good time there

The food tastes very bad. The biryani had old rice smell and meat was very old and over cooked. Although I complained, the hotel guy did not care to explain or give me discount on food I do not want to eat. It is complete waste of money.

The restaurants food is very, very good. The pastries are superb and the style and quality of the restaurant is superb! The pastries are also super good. Best restaurant I have been to in years!

Never order Biryani here. They always say its fresh and I have always had a worst experience. Rice is always dry and chicken is ALWAYS hard n dry. Waste of money. Pastry is also dry.
