The last place in Puget Sound To get the Famous Yankee Pot Roast from the old restaurant local chain that went with all disagreements that partners have. The meals are prepared with generous portions and attentive waiter persons. I would have added more vegetables to my pot roast. IT was thick with prime meat, infact too much if you know what I mean by rich meat content...I took mine home with another meal available in my portions received. BAKED POTATOE and mixed vegetables on side also complimented the meal. I WOULD have thinned the meat portion, added more veggies including diced or cubed potatoes and a nice liquid sauce... Thats a more manageable meal to enjoy...complete with rolls and butter, you will not go away hungry or your pocket picked...Still good place to go, complete with a bar area for those that want to add to their meals. Located with a local Raddison Hotel, the place is clean if but a little worn in its 35yrs +, families will get great meals 3 Times a day if they choose. Again service was excellent and prompt. I believe you will have the same...

Had to suffer dinner and breakfast at this place. Ordered a salad with dinner, bartender brought it too me and pretty much threw it at me. The salad consisted of a couple tomatoes, a couple croutons and lettuce, not much of a "garden salad". Then came my meal, steak was cooked good but the shrimp were pale in color, seasonal veggies were from a bag and mushy and the garlic potatoes werent too appetizing. Now the breakfast buffet that took a 19.00 voucher, instant eggs, damn near raw hash browns, ok sausage and bacon and the French toast, well it had no flavor at all. This is where the State made me eat and also stay at the connected Red Lion. The Red Lion is old and run down, smaller rooms than the La Quinta I stay at Im Downtown Seattle.

As others have described, there are waits here that seem to be longer than necessary. Not sure if it is an issue with understaffing, or just not caring, but we had a 20 minute wait at lunch time during the week, even though we could see empty tables. Onto the food. Nothing to really rave about here. Everything was bland and obviously had been sitting for a bit before being brought out. Vegetable sides were at room temperature and the entree was only slightly warm. After waiting, we were running out of time, so instead of sending it back, we simply agreed to finish and just not return. There are much better spots around Renton and Southcenter to eat, so theyll be getting our offices business.

Their bar was nearly void of liquor and the bartenders only knew basic drinks. Its great if you want a beer or wine or a basic house cocktail. Food was ok. I had the taco salad and I thought it was good. My friend had the open face turkey sandwich. The turkey was dry and over cooked. The wait staff was pleasant but not overly friendly. They got the orders right. One staff member was conversing with a patron in Spanish and probably thought I wouldnt understand while he was using profanity. The low stars represent the lack of management as it pertains to liquor in stock, staff knowledge, food quality etc.

The food was awful. I went there for breakfast and they were pushing the buffet however I didnt want the buffet so I ordered sausage and eggs with hash browns and sourdough toast. The eggs were overcooked and the sausage was overcooked and the hash browns were undercooked. It looked like they came from the buffet. It was just awful. I was looking forward to trying this restaurant for the first time but unfortunately it will be my last time eating there. If you cant make a decent breakfast, you shouldnt cook anything!

My family and I had breakfast here, service was great, spot on, portions were awesome, very flavorful, i ordered the Eggs Benedict, my wife had one of their omelets, my son had the kids pancake breakfast and when it came out it was in the shape of Mickey Mouse, we had a very pleasant experience, we will definitely bring our family here when they come in to town.

Recently ate here a few nights in a row due to staying at the hotel for business. I work long days and it was nice to have this restaurant at the hotel so that I did not have to leave again for dinner. I could get in and go to my room for a few minutes to unwind then head down stairs to the restaurant. The food was good and the wait staff was really nice!

They have food and drink. The wait staff makes you wait, the food is tasteless and dry. The beer selection is good though. As a hotel restaurant, this isnt a great choice, Applebees is within walking distance and a far better choice. As a place to get drinks, this place is adequate and attached to the hotel. Dont go out of your way to come here though.

Just moved to Renton. My fiancé and I dined here mid afternoon on a weekday and service was mediocre (Saw my server twice throughout our time there; taking our orders and giving us our check). The portions are very generous, but nothing memorable. Majority of patrons are elderly. Will only be back if its my last resort.

Very slow service. Waitress ignored me 90% of the time. When I tried to get her attention, she looked at me and then looked away. Took forever to get my drink as well as my food. Then when I asked for the bill it took her half an hour to give it to me. The place is almost empty.

Waited over an hour for poorly cooked food and they were out of potatoes. Almost every dish comes with potatoes. We might have had a different experience if the waitress checked in once in awhile but she did not. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN TO ANY YANKEE GRILLS.

Had a bum off the street harrasing me and other customers for 10 minutes - employees did nothing! Called police and led the guy away from the place (no thanks to the employees who just watched) - will never go back! The coffee was terrible!

Fabulously overpriced. Long wait times. Many items in the menu are "not currently available" and be prepared for extra charges that come without warning. McDonalds is down the street, go there instead.

Really great place. Coffee porter on tap is really great brew. Thomas normally works the morning shift and is really friendly and professional. Made my missed connection a bonus rather than a negative

This low rate is for the cook only. The cook doesnt know how to poach an egg, came to the table hard boiled, sent out back, came back just slightly less hard boiled.
