Good food, correct prices, I was just a bit shocked it was order at the counter (not that its a negative thing, but based on prices I thought it would be more of a sit down relax and they will take your order). We had a Groupon so we ordered fried calamari (8.95), steak (18.95) And steak marsala fetuccine (14.95) Dishes were all big, we got some bread on the side, not sure which entree it came with. Service was alright, they were nice and smiley although it took them a while to realize we had entered the restaurant (And a minute of confusion just standing at the counter seeing nobody around). Food quality was pretty good, although the calamari werent my style because I prefer thin breading. The steak was delicious and smelled really appetizing, And the pasta was creamy and savory. Too much to finish so we got some takeout~ Overall quite good, we will come back again. For the price, the food is plenty and good quality, but it is not a place to surprise a date or have an anniversary maybe, because the decoration and service are more of an average place (which is not bad! Just I expected for some reason it would be a bit more luxurious based on $25/pp)

I have eaten here on several occasions, they have Internet. The food has usually been fair to good. The espresso bar is decent, and a worthy competitor to their Starbucks neighbor as long as their specially trained barista people are on duty. Note: On one occasion I got food poisoning. However, I may go back in a few weeks and try my luck again, because this did not strike me as a common thing.

Bad attitude and bad customer service is the only thing I recieved from the short little server at the counter on 9/9/2015. Nasty talk down your nose to everyone below you type attitude. Really? No wonder they are always empty. My first time there was good and I liked. Today was so bad at the counter that you could not pay me to go back. She was out right belligerent.

I love Franklin Street Caffe, the service is always excellent and my food is prepared in a very timely fashion. My last meal was the BLT and nothing was short or skimpy like some places would be. For lunch time rush this is the perfect place to go, relax, and enjoy yourself before finishing out your work day.

Conveniently located next to the Redwood City Caltrain Station. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Order at the counter and they will bing you your food. They have good coffee and a few pastries/cakes. They have a few vegetarian options on the menu as well.

If had the opportunity to have a latte at Franklin Street Caffe which was really good. This caffe is located by the Redwood City Caltrain station and it makes a perfect spot to have a coffee while you wait for the train.

I had a decent experience. I managed to sit outside when no trains passed by so it was quite and relaxing. I had the Franklin st burger. It was cooked exactly how I ordered it. The server was friendly. Will come back

We had a good experience. The food tasted great. The portions are large. The prices are also very good. You have to go to the counter to order your food etc. which helps with keeping the prices reasonable.

That was a surprisingly great burger for a train station cafe. Fresh produce toppings and very juicy patty. I loved the double fried steak fries, and it all came with a salad, too. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly empty on a weekday evening, food good and served quickly, and surprisingly far from Franklin St. A good place to eat when you get off the train or charge your Zero SR at 8000 watts.

Very nice to sit down and have some pancakes or a burger there. The trains passing by every once in awhile are a bit bothersome, but otherwise its great.

Super friendly service, not amazing food but solidly good and dependable staples, excellent for children - sit outside and watch the trains go by.
