I had the Chile Relleno with the choice of two sides so I chose the sweet potato fries which were excellent and the Cilantro cole slaw which wasnt that great, it seemed as if they put the salad on the plate and drizzled the dressing over it. It would be better if it was marinating for while. My wife had the Pork Carnitas with beans and rice. The flavers in this dish were great but with the amount of pork it could have come with a couple more tortillas. When we asked for a couple more we were charged for them. The down fall of this restaurant was that it lacked service, it was not very friendly but not unfriendly, after we received our food we were finished before the server came back to see if everything was good. I did not hear any music except from the bar so we had to listen to the guest next to us chatting. Overall the food is great but the service is not, the pricing is a little above average for a mexican restaurant but would be worth it if the service was better.

I went at lunch time and was seated right away - but then it took over 10 minutes for the server to come take my order! I was getting ready to leave - but I am glad I didnt! The food was really good! I got a chimichanga or something with this cheese sauce they make, I think it was called jalapeno queso or something? But it was really mild, did not taste like jalapeno at all, and it was DELICIOUS! I got the cheese on the side and came in a bowl. It was really creamy and slightly sharp - but it was irresistible! Im guessing it was probably 8500 calories but SO WHAT - it was worth it!! I wanted to take the leftover cheese sauce home with me! I am definitely going back to this place - and you know what I am going to order!!

This is now my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Seattle area. They do a lot more foodie-modern stuff - Creme Fraiche with mexican corn, more organic and local options, and thats good. Their sopes were phenomenally tasty, with a great lime-infused cream. Other dishes were good, like their Chicken Tinga burrito. Even the kids were happy with things like the Chicken Tortilla soup and quesadillas. But the reason to go is the Agave Nachos. They are absolutely loaded with various veggies and herbs, covered with the best cotija cheese and great Carne Asada. They are the best nachos Ive ever had in any place, ever and are worth the visit alone.

I went to Agave with a friend in search of a blended margarita. We ordered frozen mango margaritas that were supposed to be on the happy hour menu. The drinks tasted like low grade tequila mixed with store bought frozen oj concentrate from a canister. The cops and salsa also looked store bought... And at the end of the night, we were told that only the pure agave margaritas were on the happy hour menu so asking for mango or strawberry syrup brought the price right back to ten dollars. I didnt rate the restaurant lower because we didnt order food, so maybe that will make up for the location, decor, and bad drinks on your future visit.

Great food, wonderful service and love the ambiance! Margaritas are very tasty. Had an incredible meal of enchiladas made with the best tortillas Ive had in years. Bean dip with added meat was very good. Dessert of flan with chocolate and caramel also a pure delight. Have been to this place over 10 times over the years and it just keeps on impressing me! Best kept secret in Redmond, its kinda hidden between DSW and Ross in a big strip mall but not to be missed. Once you get past the front doors you are teleported to another world of beauty and comfort worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Redmond.

Brunch was great! We recently moved here from Southern California and have been searching high and low for good chilaquiles here in the great NW. Not only were the chilaquiles great at Agave Cucina, the tomatillo sauce was perfect - just the right amount of heat to kick start your day. Plus, the carnitas jalapeño biscuits were awesome! Did I mention the reasonably priced Mimosa and Bloody Marys? Service seemed a tiny bit slow, but I think that was due more to a back-up in the kitchen. Overall, Im thrilled we found this place and look forward to checking out the dinner menu.

Their website describes the food as free range, antibiotic free meats and organic vegetables. Well when you get there and ask about it the manager told us only when they could get something organic or free they used it. He said they could not get organic beans or rice and many other things (that we always buy organic). Honestly their website is very misleading. This place is not recommended for people who want or need to eat clean food.

Although the website says most things except the flour tortillas are gluten-free, the menus does not spell this out. Our server said the shredded chicken is thickened with flour and the chili relleno is dipped in flour batter before cooking. We settled on enchiladas (shredded beef, seafood) with sides of guacamole and cilantro-jicama slaw, and were very satisfied with the food.

I have been to Agave a bunch of times with my choir group. We are surprisingly unruly, loud and difficult but Robert (our FAVORITE waiter) is always charming and gives us the best service. The food is fabulous and the drinks are great too. Super bonus - now that the weather is warm they are opening up one whole wall of the bar for indoor/outdoor dining!

We visit this place. A lot. Generally really good food and drink from the regular menu. Many gluten free options for those that need it. The happy hour menu is sometimes hit & miss, but the prices are good. Nice patio on the backside adjacent to the bar. Clean facility & friendly staff.

Good restaurant overall. I enjoyed my plate. Nothing stood out as amazing. But the service was slow (pleasant, just slow) they are cranking the club music at lunch. Big bar area, looks likes a great place for happy hour if you want to listen to club music.

Ive been here like 10 times. The most awesome server is the girl named Jovanny! She entertains us and is genuinely happy to see us each time. The food is also fresh and very good every time, and the free chips come with 3 different salsas. Thank you, Jovanny!!

Slightly pricier than a normal Mexican restaurant, all entrees are about $10, but the food healthy (free range chicken), you get two choices with your entree, (guacamole, beans, asparagus, red potatoes, etc.), theyre all really good!!

I like the food here. Best pasrt is it is next to Ross, Ulta, and DSW. So you can walk around these stores if u ate heavily :). Some times it seems they purposely ramin lowkey. I liked the enchilada, a bit on the expensive side.

Had the enchilada suiza and the prickly pear limonada. Everything was delicious! They seemed to only have one waiter working but they are a small place and there werent too many people on a Friday during lunchtime.
