I have never been to a Chevys where it took an HOUR and FIFTEEN minutes to get my food!!! We had dinner reservations for 8 people at 6;30pm on a Saturday night. We were all there on time and were seated promptly. Our waitress was Georgina. It took her 15 minutes to take our drink order and another 15 minutes to take our food order. My mango slushy was extremely tart so I sent it back. She brought out a tray of drinks not realizing that one of the the drinks was half full! Then, after an hour waiting for our food, we asked her what was going on. She never came to update us on our food order. After 1.25 hours the food finally arrived, only to have one order wrong. My husband ordered steak fajitas medium rare, no beans and it came well done with beans. Needless to say, it was sent back and we dreaded the fact that we might have to wait another hour for his dinner. Surprisingly enough, it came after 8 minutes. Because we were celebrating a birthday, she brought out the dessert for the birthday boy before he even finished his dinner!!! To top it off, Chevys is known for bringing out the sombrero for birthdays and she said they ran out!?!?! After paying the bill, we asked to speak to the manager. Even she took a long time coming out!! Not once did the waitress let her manager know of our horrible experience and the managers, Angelas, excuse was that they were busy because they had a party of 50. Frankly thats not our problem and its poor management! If she knew ahead of time of the amount of people coming, she should have planned her staffing accordingly. Not even 10% or a voucher was given! To top it off, we paid the check half cash and and credit card. When she brought back the check, Georgina had taken the cash and ran the credit card for the full amount!!! WTF!!! Was she expecting an $80 tip?!?! So that was another 20 minute wait! Finally, the bathrooms were disgusting!!! Water all over the floor and vanity, no paper towels, garbage was full, pure nastiness!!!! Needless to say, I will NOT go back to this Chevys EVER again!!!!

Hmm not quite what it used to be. Full disclosure I havent been to this chain in seven years, I used to be positively inclined to the food, and this was a take out order for this experience. I ordered two things which ended up being about 28 dollars. I remember the quesadillas here being a huge round platter like at least 12"+ across, this time I got an oblong thing that is at best 3" x 9". Seems like the only the only similarity to the past was the price... So quesadilla wasnt very good, I have never had a burrito at this location or at any Chevys so I didnt have any frame of reference. They give you some small side items with the burrito; beans, rice, homily, sour cream, pico de gallo, lettuce, and mashed avocado. So a lot for the amount you spend, but well the burrito and indeed all the sides were a bit too salty for my taste. The good thing about this place was that the food was ready in less than 15 minutes (and the ease of online ordering, but I guess most chains have that now), but I might have been happier spending my time and money somewhere else. I cant really recommend take out ordering these items.

My first time ever going to a Chevys and i was extremely disappointed. After we were seated it took 15 mimutes for our drink order and to bring out chips and salsa. I ordered a lemonade but the waiter came back telling me "they were out of lemonade." We ordered a ceaser salad with a combo fajitas. Our food arrived and we were told the tortillas were going to be brought out any second now. So my husband and i ate the chips and salsa and salad. Went through our drinks with no tortillas still. At least 15 minutes right there. So my husband had to go find the waiter and ask for tortillas. Our tortillas were brought but a little doughy and our fajitas were cold by now. My husband asked for a new platter which was brought out 5 minutes later with ice cold onions and bell peppers. We had no plates to eat our fajitas on also. Food was bland, service was slow with no follow up, and very dirty there. Didnt even get my fried ice cream!!! That was our 1st time ever leaving no tip. Staff wasnt even friendly! Wont be going to this Chevys ever again

Wow let me start this by I used to love chevys and thought this would be a 5 star review. From the moment we walked in at about 530 on a week night we were greeted by a not very bright lady who took forever to find us a table in the half empty restaurant. When we finally were seated it took about 5 minutes before our server finally came over and asked for our drinks and order who was not very friendly, after that we got very cold and groose chips with the salsa and waited 10 minutes for our waters and drink we ordered. As we watched two other people get there food first as we ordered before them and were sat before them we finally received our food which was okay but was not very warm and the corn thing was straight cold.... The server was very friendly to other people there but seemed to ignore us. Chevys has gone far down the hill and I will never return to a chevys as this completely ruined my experience with them...

My sister and her daughter ate dinner there today Dec. 28 , 2015. service was good, ALL THE FOOD was spiced fairly heavily, salsa for the chips tasted like it had BBQ sauce in it. We ordered drinks from the bar, my sister asked for Kahlua and cream, when the glass was brought to the table , it was only 1/2 full, we both looked at it and then looked at each other puzzled, we asked the waitress, her response was that is how the drink is served, in a highball glass and only 1/2 full..... ODD!!! everything was ok up till now.... ok, so maybe folks in Fairfield like their food real spicy and their glasses only 1/2 full..... then we went to the womans bath room..... PIG STY !!!!!!! dirty paper towels on the floor and the paper towel waste can sticking out in the walk way, brimming over.

We went with the family to Chevys on friday. They were busy (Possibly short handed). Food and drinks took forever but were delicious. So you might be wondering why I gave it 5 stars. One reason, Lotanna! Our server was amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and most importantly, was able to put up with my step-father (who is a wonderful, but amazingly sarcastic man). She was perfectly amazing and kept up with our jokes, threw some of her own, and kept us entertained to the point we didnt really mind the delays from the kitchen and bar. So I suggest you go, Ask for Lotanna, enjoy yourself, and tip well!

I had the cheese enchiladas (which are a little strange in the meat sauce they come with) and an amazing carnitas soft taco. I would recommend the soft taco to everyone. It was very well marinated and the flavor was outstanding. The free chips and salsa were par for the course. Our server was nice, but somewhat disinterested. The location is somewhat what youd expect from a restaurant chain, but the place settings, etc, seemed cheap. Overall I think the location is good if you like Chevys food.
