The only redeeming quality I can give this place is the 18 count pot stickers. The fried "cheese" wanton have Krab and onions just like Krab Rangoon. After asking the server who literally spoke less English than a 2 year old child specifically what was in them. Also, not having a consistent or standard in any dish is kind of hard to order Broccoli beef and expect large straw mushrooms or whatever the cook decides to put in it for that particular time. After being told, "Well, the cooks make it how they want that particular time." As well as only a partial ingredients list being provided on some dishes but not all. This is no way to run a "successful" restaurant without the order and consistency to anything your customer base can taste a dish any number of ways and may or may not come back again due to having the dish perfect once and only once. To say this experience was disappointing is putting it mildly.

Terrible experience. I stopped in to get a bite to eat, a drink, and use my Microsoft Surface to entertain some opportunities for a new apartment. I ordered the pot stickers and they came out way undercooked and coated in some slimy coating. The sauce appeared to be mauled as well - it appeared to have some foreign liquid in it. I told her I didnt want it and I wasnt interested in another one as I knew she was being sarcastic. I think they might have some serious issues with the food here and would advise never eating here even in a dire situation. It is likely they will entertain one meal and snatch you on the second. Please consider my opinion as one occurrence is likely one to many. FYI I think they have serious hygiene issues in the kitchen stemming from mental illness.

Staff was great, I just mentioned hot tea to my mom and a waitress that was not even ours offered and delivered it in minutes. Our waiter was great, and did a fabulous job. Huge portions. 18 pot stickers for 9$, fresh and tasty. Love the garlic chicken. We placed an order to go with our meal and it came out the moment we were ready to go. The whole meal came to $50.00. But in the end we feed 4 people with enough left overs for 2 lunchs. ( you could spend more on 6 fast food meal deals) Inside had high ceilings , huge windows, lots of details, elaborate chandeliers. For a sit down meal with food this fresh and surroundings so open and bright you should be willing to spend at least 25$ per person. I am looking forward to my next meal there.

Ok..so my wife and I decided to give this a try after debating for a year and not hearing good things from others. We had a couple sushi rolls, some General Tso chicken and beef and broccoli. Overall, the food is just meh. It was very bland. Everything was perfectly edible, but weve had better Chinese at a Chinese buffet than here. Spent $50 for whole meal. Both agreed it wasnt worth it. Place was clean, staff was nice, but we wont be coming back.

The staff were kind people however, the food was terrible. We ordered a couple different things off of the menu and they were terrible. The place is filthy. The support under the tables are disgusting and there were TONS of larger ants all over. I squished 4 that were on the back of my booth chair and there were a couple in the floor that the waiter killed once I pointed them out. The uncleanness will be the reason I will NOT come back.

SALIVA When ever I order sushi, I usually order it with spit on the side. Here at Taste Wei you can get 14 Sushi rolls, soy sauce, Wasabi, slices of ginger, and human spit. While watching your sushi rolls being prepared you can watch the sushi maker clear his throat and dangle his saliva over your food and watch him suck it back into his mouth.Great place to eat if you like spit in your food.

Food is great, loved the service. The view is amazing. **UPDATE : Not sure what has happened, but this visit was terrible. The staff really needs to know their menu. The nonspicy lunch was too spicy and the spicy dish my husband ordered was tasteless. He ate mine which worked out, but his tasted like boiled chicken and vegetables. Really really bad. Go to the teriyaki place across the street.

This is my second time here and I must say it has won me over. Last time that I had come to this place I hated everything about it. I recently went with a girlfriend of mine and we had sushi and orange chicken. It was amazing, and the portions were good too. Wait time was a bit absurd but it has nice scenic views. Dont go in there hoping to be in and out in under an hour.

Weve vistited about 6 times pre and post new management. Closed on Tuesdays. We enjoy the view of Mount Rainer and Poulsbo. The bar backdrop tile of the Seattle Skyline is a must see. Staff is friendly, store clean, food has always been hot and flavorful even in a larger party. A special thank you to Sandy for the beautiful Year of the Rooster 2017 wall calender.

Thank god they now have new owners! It was awful prior to this change. Now it is excellent!!! Thank you for taking over and preparing dishes the way real Chinese cooking should be. And also, serving decent sized portions! My husband and I have been a few times now and have had the opportunity to speak with the new owners. Keep up the great work!

Food was good. Staff nice. Value okay but could be better. Menu confusing??? Or was it me??? Thought item orders was $7.99 but $11.99 on ticket. Did I read it wrong? Heard good things but might be my first and last time. P.S. 1:30 on Saturday only one other customer there. Might be a reason? I really wanted to like it. But probably last visit.

This place was good before, but its even better now!! We just ordered out and I was surprised and impressed not only by the quantity of our order, but also the quality. We ordered nigiri and a roll and everything was so fresh and neatly arranged in our to-go boxes. I dont know why, but that alone was super impressive.

Twice now we have gone to this location for happy hour and was told we couldnt be served drinks because the manager wasnt there. Why have a happy hour and a full bar if you dont have a bartender to serve your customers? We stayed the first time but just walked out, its disappointing as we really like the food.

Terrible food, terrible service... Would never recommend this place. Coconut shrimp were so tough you had to rip them with your teeth. Waiter took our order and never saw him again. Girl at the front register was too busy texting on her phone to answer questions/take payment. Bathrooms were dirty... Good luck.

I liked the food and the inside is very nice. They had happy hour specials, 1600-1800, me a decent cocktail and a cheaper appetizer. They started to get busy though and the waitstaff wasnt seen much after. It looks like theyre trying to hire though, so Ill give it another try some other time.
