My fiancé and I were driving thru Petaluma and decided to try the local Mexican food. Boy were we misled! 70+ reviews and Im wondering if any of you have ever had authentic Mexican food?! The salsa and chips were truly the highlight of the meal... I ordered a 3 combination platter with a chicken enchilada, a carne asada Sope, and a chili Relleno. What was I thinking?! The Sope wasnt fried enough and the steak was flavorless! The sauce on the relleno was basic at best. The Spanish rice was from a box for sure! Never again

As Albertans from Canada we love the quality and authenticity of Californian Mexican fare, and Mi Peublo in downtown Petaluma actually exceeded our expectations in every way: tastiness, fresh ingredients, excellent meat choices, serving size, decor, service and price. I could go on and on, but urge you to walk in for a savoury south-of-the-border dining experience!

The best veggie burrito I have ever had! Actually the best burritos ever ! The sauce they pour over is so good. Super fast service, and the coldest beer. They are great in every way. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Sonoma County, My favorite is in Kentucky St. Petaluma. But thats because I havent been to the rest.

PUEBS! This is my jam. Everything here is good. And the salsa bar! The dark chili paste and green salsa are the best Ive ever had. I am drooling and hungry just thinking about it. They also have great margaritas! It can get crowded, but they are very quick, we usually pick up and take it home. Sooooo gooooood!

Great Mexican style food with a nice little bar. Great stop for an afternoon lunch. They have an extensive menu with Great service. The food came fast, and the proportions are great if your ready to feast. They also have an awsome afternoon happy hour menu offering not only food options but drinks aswell.

Had a michelada and the super burrito with lengua. It was so good. Nice staff. Theres a Good Night margarita... that thing is HUGE!!! I will come back the next time I stay in town.

Bad service food is not good got food poisoning and the waitress still wanted me to pay my check after I told her that we had gotten sick with the food. I dont recommend this place
