Im really leaning towards a 2.5. The service was pleasant and attentive. Food came out quickly. How ever I ordered the French dip. I love a solid French dip, but unfortunately this is on the bottom of the list of ones I tried. The sandwich was warmish.. but the meat was very dry and fatty. It was so bland. On the other hand the au jus was very strong and over powering like they loaded it with salt or soy sauce or something. The bread could use some more toasting. I love food and I really am not the typical complainer. I just love a solid French dip! And I am writing this because I would hope to come back here and try a revamped French dip! :) my wife had waffles and hash browns. They were cooked to perfection so kudos on the breakfast side of things!

Food is usually delicious, but every time we get this one server she starts out with a nasty attitude and our food comes out cold and we never can get her to come back to the table and refill our drinks or check on us to see if we need anything. when we try to wave her down she kind of walks by like she didnt even see us. when we get her attention to get a refill ten minutes later she walks by and says oh let me grab your drink. I love this place but some of the wait staff need to be a little more attentive to the customers.

We plan to go back because the food was pretty good, but will not continue to do so if the wait staff ignores us like they did on our first visit. I understanding if a place is packed out and wait staff is running around, but on a typical morning, I do not expect to have an empty glass for 20 minutes. Our waitress was brazen enough to do a 2.5 second stop at the table to ask how the food was, then turn tail and run without seeing if we needed anything. Maybe we just didnt look like we were worth the time!

Its a decent looking restaurant; however, the staff seemed completely incompetent. We asked to be seated with a high chair, we were seated at a booth and given a booster chair, we ordered drinks but she didnt bring enough straws, we ordered food and were served burnt pancakes and they forgot my chicken fried steak. When I did get it, it was covered in this lumpy, gelatinous "gravy" mixture that tasted terrible. This place needs work.

Restaurant was clean, my husbands food was great, he loved it. BUT ... I ordered a strawberry waffle and bacon, received the bacon and strawberries 10 minutes before my waffle ... by then the bacon was cold and my husband was a third of the way done with his breakfast, and the waffle was so thin and tasteless I could see through it. If I ever had to come back I would never order that again ... therefore I only give 2 stars.

My husband voted to go here while we were in town visiting family after having a great experience at the West Bremerton location on a prior trip. The food & prices did not disappoint. Nothing spectacular, but honest prices & decent portions. The place was clean, the service fast, friendly, & capable. Well return again!

Service is horrible, my girlfriends family was visiting town and our waitress took a good twenty minutes after we were seated to even acknowledge that we were there. By that time we were already up and out of our seats to leave. Been to other pancake houses in silverdale and bremerton, the service is so much better.

Friendly servers and a great menu. The cornbeef hash that is made in-house was one of the best that Ive had, and the pancakes are always great. If you order the crepes with orange marmalade, it is a bit sweet so order a savory side along with it. Family Pancake House is always dependable for some comfort food.

Went there today,havent been there on a while. Service was great,it seemed that the cooks quite a long while to cook our food, considering the place wasnt that busy. Our waitress always kept in touch,to show that we werent being ignored. Could be a new cook,but I hope they get alittle faster with the food

Way better than Ihop. Never having heard of this place before Im glad I have given it a try. I have eaten here on several occasions so far and have had a new item everytime. Not once have I been disappointed. Staff is polite and professional, has a family atmosphere and is an overall enjoyable place.

Had lunch today and mine was less than wonderful. Had the Hot Turkey Sandwich and the gravy was like a paste with no flavor and the potatoes needed help. This is our favorite place to eat. Have you changed cooks? Seems like your quality has gone down, Have noticed many changes in staff, etc.

Staff is always polite and gets my order correct every time I come here for the chicken fried steak and eggs, coffee is like any other diner and the soda machine definitely needs to be serviced the flavors are off bad but not the worst Ive tasted. I love the place for the friendly atmosphere

Nice place, kinda loud while we were there. Its like a mom & pops IHOP. Food was pretty good, but not fantastic; the servers were all friendly, price was reasonable, and the place was clean. I really didnt care for the coffee much though. Gotta say those pancakes were pretty yummy.

First time at the Port Orchard family pancake House and it is just like I expected "delicious". The amount of food you get is almost more than you can eat. The service is very good here as well. Great job FPH staff thank you for a great experience!

Come here for breakfast often. A little pricey but the portions are huge and the food is very good. My coffee cup is never empty thanks to the lovely wait staff who walk around to every table often, always with a coffee pot in hand.

The pancakes here are the best I have ever had and thats saying a lot considering I have traveled all over this country and have been to more than 100 pancake spots but they dont compare to these a must try your first time here

Took 30 minutes for the server to come. Then after another 30 minutes as they bring food out they say oh we are actually out of biscuits for your biscuits and gravy order. Worst breakfast food I have had in a long time.

Wasnt even busy yet they took forever to get our order, forgot fruit and other things. Also overcooked the bacon and the sausage was cold. 10 /10 would not recommend.
