The food was good and reasonably priced. The only issue I had was that my server walked by me several times after bringing my food to the table. All I was trying to ask her for was some red Tabasco sauce and to let her know that the chefs had somehow accidentally cut off a small piece of Styrofoam from a to-go container and that she should probably inform them to be more careful. She tried to excuse herself and tell me that it was very busy which it was period but I have worked in the restaurant industry for over a decade and I know that it only takes 2 seconds to stop and ask your guests if everything is okay. I really wasnt upset at all about the tiny piece of Styrofoam in my food. I was more upset at how long I had to wait to even say anything. However, they did hand me my meal for free even though I was still prepared to pay for it. I think the place is ok period I would give them another chance. But my first experience was not necessarily the greatest. This place definitely has it going on. They just need to work a little bit harder on their guest experience and I would give them a 5-star rating.

My elderly mother was taken there by her lady friend and her husband Dec. 27Th 2012. Both of the ladies ordered a BLT and the bacon was hardly cooked, if at all. The next evening both of the ladies began vomiting and other flu like symptoms for the next few days. When I discovered that my mothers friend had also eaten the BLT and also became ill, I called the manager, but he was unsympathetic and just kept repeating that unless he sees a Drs proof that he cant do anything about it. I explained to him that I just thought he ought to know. So if you go there make sure that you order the bacon thoroughly cooked.

Just had the best meal I can remember here. Coleslaw was wet, but not a lot of ingredients, tasted good, went perfectly with the fish. Fish was golden and beautifully breaded. Fries didnt burn my tongue but werent cold either. Plus I got toast. He said his Burger was a quarter pound! Clam chowder had a lot of Bacon. Im vegetarian, but I ate almost all of it. Pie dough isnt wonderful, but dessert isnt necessary after all the food they give. Took home half of mine!

the biscuits and gravy were really good, huge biscuits. i asked for crispy hashbrowns and unfortunately they were not as crispy as i prefer them, crispy on the outside but lots of soft potatoes in the middle. there was only one server who seemed to pay more attention to the regulars. the chef ended up taking away my plate and bringing my bill. there was a lot of food and i wasnt able to finish it all.

Used to order to go from here all the time and LOVED it. The last few times we have ordered to-go, food has been forgotten, toast burnt, my childrens french toast was soggy like it had barely been cooked, and I feel like the portions have gotten much smaller while prices have gone up. Very unfortunate since it was my favorite place in town.

Great little out of the way cafe. Always friendly service. Ive only been there for breakfast but its been good every time. They have a couple really good breakfast hash/scramble plates and the portions are huge. My picture is misleading I guess from the angle. Trust me the portions are large. They also have a Groupon available.

Took the family out to this place because we found a nice groupon. The hostess was very nice. The food took a while to come out and some of it was starting to get cold, but overall the food was good and service was acceptable.

Excellent every time Ive been here. Huge portions. We always have leftovers. Best place in the are for sure. Looks like a family runs it. They bicker like they are family anyways. Lol. Love this place. Never disappointed.

Just tried it for the first time today. I am a creature of habit, and I usually get omelets when I order out. This is the best one Ive had in a long time. Little heavy on the onion, but none the less, Im impressed!

Great for breakfast! The portions are huge and generally pretty good. The hobo hash is a local legend. The place is always busy and seemingly short staffed. If you dont mind waiting its a decent place to eat
