I have found it pretty rare to find a place that serves Japanese curry, so I was really excited to try out the curry here. As the name of the business implies, this place isnt exactly a "restaurant." You order first, then they give you a number and you place it on a table and they bring the food to you. There isnt really a waiter that stops by your table or anything. The only reason I mention this is because when they give you the receipt, they have a section to add on a tip. Ive seen this done at a few places, and Im not a huge fan of it. I dont like tipping before I receive food, or when there isnt a waiter refilling drinks/checking on me. I had always thought of tipping as something you do in response to the service, not something you do before you are even served. My standards for curry are very high, and I admit that I was fairly impressed with the curry here. Perfect ratios of sauce, rice, and chicken (the chicken was breaded too!). At other places that serve curry, the biggest problem is putting a large amount of sauce, but not enough rice to enjoy it with, so you have to order supplemental rice. The atmosphere is very laid back. The best way to describe it is kind of like a lounge. The tables are made from reclaimed wood and painted over with a cool gray color scheme that accents the walls. With a place this hip, it easily attracts a lot of younger people. They also have fried ice cream and fried cheesecake, so this a great place to stop by to even just have that.

The only complaint I have is that I cant rate this place more than 5 stars! I cant believe its taken me so long to come here and eat after all of the positive reviews Ive heard about this place, its stagg, and its food. Im a huge anime/gamer nerd so the name "domo" immediately stuck out to me. You walk in and the theme is anime themed (the bathroom has bleach and Naruto posters in it!). You walk in, make your order at the register, pick out your drink from the cooler and find a seat before the influx of the ENTIRE TOWN comes in. The food is phenomenal (best beef bulgogi Ive had in years) and their service and staff is on point. Great job guys! Me and my hubs are new regulars!

We moved right across the street from them about a year ago, and they were spectacular, however, the decline in service has been so significant it is as if there is another resteraunt there entirely. Their portions are hardly adequate, and I have often considered ordering an extra dish just to make one complete meal compared to how it used to be. Everytime we go back there, purely for convinience sake, our experience has gotten worse and worse. We will no longer be returning with out service, even if we did still live right next door.

Really good food. Ridiculously good. Nice atmosphere and personable staff. I come here often and cant help but order the chicken katsu every time plus a sushi roll. I think the biggest down side is the cramped space. Its not a very big place and the tables are tightly packed. You often find yourself having to share a table with others which can be considered a positive point of view. It doesnt feel awkward and sometimes engage with other customers even if just briefly. Still a great restaurant and highly recommended.

Love this place. I grew up in Korea for most of my life and this place is very authentic! Their kimchi taste just like kimchi from home, the yakisoba taste just like it was made in Japan. The katsu, the fried rice, everything is great! Definitely a place I go to when I miss home! The cafe is cute and I love that they play K-POP and have the Korean channels on TV. It is very much like a place that would be in the cities of Korea and Japan. Love!! 100000/5 !

The food at Domo is always very fresh and delicious. The boba and sake here is also very good. My personal favorites are the sesame shrimp rice bowl and the shrimp tempura upon bowl. They can be a bit slow at times so if you are placing an order to go you definitely need to call well in advance. In addition to this, its very difficult to locate a menu online and they dont have any menus that you can take back home with you.

This is a fantastic café. My sister and I went at around 11am to 12pm and that place gets pack, due to all the military personnel and college students coming in for lunch. Even when it was packed the servers were phenomenal. They took our order fast and were super polite and happy to be there. Considering the circumstances, the food came out fast and hot. Great place to bring youre kids, family members, and even kids.

The place has a Japan vibe hence the name. I just recently moved out of Japan and the food and setting brings back memories. The food is great and it tastes like you just ordered it from Japan. The service is great and the food comes out quick. The only thing that would be considered a negative is that the place is really small and gets really packed when it gets busy. But thats how it is in most restaurants in Japan.

Wonderful staff, extremely friendly. Kept checking on us, even with being packed and having a line out the door the entire time. Absolutely fantastic variety of food. Cooked perfectly. Great price. Great location. Love the self serve station. Great for a date night. My boyfriend and I go as often as possible. Only complaint I have is, I never have leftovers :) We recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Best sushi I have ever had and the hot food is amazing too. Cool and comfortable atmosphere. Go early because its ALWAYS PACKED since its so awesome! The location size means limited parking and seating and the checkout/order area is super cramped and small. This is the only drawback and its a good problem to have for such a new place. They definitely need a bigger location soon!

The food here is great. Interior is modern and fun. Great place for lunches. It would be nice if they could find a way to reconfigure the front ordering counter and/or drink station. Often times it is so busy it makes movement and traffic awkward in and out of the restaurant and at the drink station. Regardless, a lot of us are repeat customers.

Great place, its brand new too, opened April 2015, so some kinks still on going. Everyone is friendly, the sushi is great, ask for nigiri chef choice and youll be pleasantly surprised. The bento boxes and kimichi is great too. Sucks its kind of hidden and tucked away but the food makes up for it. Good prices too. Will constantly come here

First time having such great sushi since moving to fwb! Very cute little cafe with tons of choices and amazing food, regular to sushi! I had the Volcano, Deja Vu, and Thai Me Sailor or something like that haha, it was amazing! The workers were friendly and service was fast even on a busy tuesday close to closing! Definitely addicted.

Great food, great bubble tea, and great service! I had the coconut bubble tea and my husband had the chai bubble tea. It was our first time trying out this place, and the cashier was very friendly and explained the drinks well. The food was delicious and we will definitely be going back!
