How much of a menu can one put for such a tiny food cart? My new found knowledge leads me to reassess my previous views after enjoying a meal from Boka food cart. This little food cart/truck is the one that could. They boast an island fusion of Hawaiian-Filipino-Chamorro. And they would prove to be spot on and pretty much providing some of the comfort foods of these pacific islands. I had the Hawaiian mochiko Chicken Plate. The mochiko chicken came out hot with that soft yet crunchy texture you should expect in Mochiko chicken. My only bummer is these guys arent completely Hawaiian or Filipino because the one scoop rice the give isnt enough for those people coming from Hawaii or the Phillipines. I paid for a side of Mac Salad because it didnt come with my meal. Its the only thing they didnt fuse into fusion of cultures. In Hawaii I dont care what island. Plate lunch consists of the Mac salad with all plate lunches. One nice thing they add is the Chamorro dipping sauce, tabasco, and sweet chili dipping sauces.

The mochiko chicken plate was really good. The chicken was crispy, moist, savory, and just a tiny bit sweet. The macaroni salad was creamy and not overcooked. The lumpia was thin and crispy. The Boka tacos were kind of Mexican: little corn tortillas with cilantro and cabbage. The meat might have been braised. It fell apart on contact and was also a little sweet. They take credit cards and if youre over 21, you can sit inside or outside at the Beerwerks. Two thumbs up.

Awesome Asian/Pacific island style food made from scratch! Came up to Washington from Nevada and this was they only place I planned on visiting. Come during dinner to have a drink or two at Beerwerks just up the steps.
