*please share in delaware* AVOID Red Lobster on Churchmans Road - Bad Service I went in on 3/19/16 at 3:28 pm to sit at the bar and order a salad and a dozen biscuits to go. The waitresses were nice, and took my order. I sent a text message to my wife, then read the news on my phone while I waited for my food. I only barely noticed the customer who sat down two stools away and ordered a full meal. I did notice when he was served his full meal, including a salad and biscuits, before me. It happens. But thats when I noticed that I had been reading the news on my phone for 30 minutes! I continued to wait, another ten minutes later one of the nice waitresses happened by and told me that she would check on my food. I watched the guy near me eat for another five minutes with no response from the waitress, and I got up and left at 4:13 pm, having sat for 45 minutes and been served nothing. Even thats not so bad! I went to Wawa to get a (great) sandwich and got home at 4:43 pm. I called the Red Lobster and asked for the manager, and was asked "Why?" When I responded that I was a customer and would like to speak to the manager, the person who answered the phone held it away from her ear and said to someone nearby "Hes very angry and wants to speak to a manager" and the said to me "we have many managers here, why do you want to speak to one?" I responded "Im not angry. Id like to speak to the manager because I asked to." An incredibly rude person then got on the phone and demanded my name. I responded "Id like to speak to the manager please", and the rude person again demanded my name. I said: "your refusal to connect me with the manager will be part of my review." I should not have to explain to rude Red Lobster employees that the correct response is "Certainly sir, Ill put (him/her) on right away" or "Im sorry sir, but (he/she) is not available, is there some way I may help you?" I urge all to avoid this Red Lobster, and consider the many nice restaurants nearby instead.

9-11-17 My husband and I went there for lunch, we had been waiting for the endless shrimp to come back, so we go there and the waitress wasnt friendly but wasnt rude either ,she didnt know some things about the menu, she took our drink order, and I ordered a sunset passion drink, it took about 15 mins to get it, then she takes our order we wait another 25 minutes, in the meantime some ppl came in and sat right behind us and they got their food before us and they ordered to same thing endless shrimp, so my husband asks a manager did yall lose our order, so she said she would check on it, then the waitress comes back and said they gave our food to the wrong table so they have to remake it, we said yeah you gave it to the people behind us, because they ordered the same thing but we were here 1st, we were about to get up and leave and here comes the waitress with our food,it was ok not great like it use to be, she never asked my husband if he needed refills on his soda, I use to love going to that red lobster, it use to be a treat for us, but yesterday was the worst experience weve ever had there and the food isnt cheap, so if Im paying good money I want a good experience, Im not going to that one on churchmans road in Delaware again.

Havent been here for at least 2 years. After being seated it started to get hot and I mean hot. I could feel the heater kick on and for 20 min straight still running so asked the waiter if he could get it turned off. Another 20 min its still running full blast and feels close to 90 degrees, hot enough that I feel sick from heat and apparently there was one guest who was cold so the management decided to make the restaurant as miserable and uncomfortable for everyone else. After 15 times asking the manager came over to say they turned the heat completely off? Um that really isnt helping the fact that its disgustingly hot by this point. Then the food comes and it was gross and bland had to double check were we were at cause was gross. If your looking for somewhere to go for bad food and to sweat to death, pick this red lobster. But do it soon because with management who doesnt have a clue what they are doing and food that was bad I cant see how they will be in business much longer

I am not big on leaving these negative reviews, but tonights dinner was less than acceptable. It was Saturday night, so I expected a wait. The hostess said it would be 20 minutes (not bad). We were seated within 20 minutes, but waited another 10 before I flagged a food runner or server (not sure) to ask him to please get someone to help us. He was very nice, he took our drink order, brought it out right away. Server did show up a few minutes later, but the entire experience was just sad. Never cleared plates, never offered to refill drinks, a runner or perhaps another server brought out the food, which is fine of course, but it shows she was not on top of anything. The biggest issue for me, that not once did I see a manager walking around or checking to see how the floor was doing. Restaurant managers make really good money, youd think they would earn it. We will never go back there again.

The service was good. The appetizer-stuffed mushroom with lobster and cheese were very small. You could not taste the lobster. Seriously, right across the way, Olive Garden serves stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat and you can taste the crab and the portion is better served. The dinners-not good. I asked the server what was recommended and it was not articulate. I feel a server should be able to be able to make at least several suggestions off the menu. There were suggestions but nothing that registered, "its great, try it!." The shrimp were baby shrimp that I could find in a local supermarket. The lobster had no taste. Extremely disappointing and doubtful of any recommendations or return to eat. Also, the restaurant is starting to look run down. We had dinner there approximately a year ago and it was a completely different atmosphere, food and service.

I went to redlobster today 8/22/2017 with my 4 kidos.... the waitress was very nice, pleasant and helpful..... I didnt ordered anything to eat more than a dessert (apple crustarda) and it was delicious...... I wish it was 2 scoop of ice cream though instead of 1...... my kids had their foods and they love it.... 2 broil fish meal with mashed potato.... grilled shrimp with mashed potato and chicken fingers with mashed potato..... I let them order what they want instead of me ordering for them and they doesnt like what I order lol.... they eat it all and asking to go back another day.....

I my wife along with my Mother stopped by Red Lobster this past Saturday, we were seated, ordered etc. I had a house salad as an appetizer so they brought the salad out mind you they could use a little better lighting just a tad brighter at the tables. I dress it, then whoa! There was an issue. I got right up took it to Lori who immediately, immediately took care of it expeditiously and personally prepared another and brought it out. Just wanted great Mgmt. Leadership/quality worrk ethic etc. and Ill be back Godspeed Lori Min. D.Dixon Sr.& Family
