After reading all the rave reviews about this place, I was very disappointed by my experience. Six of us, four adults and two children went here for lunch at 1 p.m. today. The staff informed us right away they were out of oysters, out of bacon, and out of lettuce!! So if youre planning to eat hang town fry or another oyster dish, I recommend you ask if they have any before you sit down. I had stuffed french toast with some sort of raspberry sauce (OK, but not worth $14, even with the glob of sausage that went with it). My husband and two granddaughters had the pancakes. They were rated as "good," but the syrup was weird (has a cinnamon flavor). The two other adults had classic eggs benedict, which one thought was great, and the other thought was so-so. The staff was friendly and service was good, but I wont bother to go back. I can get much better food elsewhere.

This review is more for the service then the food. We really had no complaints about the food and thought it was delicious. If I could review them separately I would. However, the wait time for food was atrocious. For the restaurant being a little less then half full (so approx. 5 tables, 6 if you include us) it took at least 45 minutes for a sandwich and burger with side salads to come out. It was to the point where I had to call the waitress over to get an update, and let her know that due to being on a lunch break I would have to leave in a few minutes with or without the food. Moral of the story: If you want good food and are willing to wait forever for your food, this is the place for you.

Every meal there is an amazing taste experience! I always leave supremely satisfied and feeling good down to my toes. The fresh local food is exceptionally and simply prepared, flavorful, and unique. I love sauces, and I am never ever disappointed here, as they are all made from scratch in house (as is their bread, and sometimes cheese, well, and everything else they concoct!) and bursting with flavor. The menu changes constantly, giving these creative chefs a chance to use what is available and fresh in season, and giving me a reason to come back regularly. If you have not yet tried out this gem, you are missing out on one of the best spots to eat downtown!

Low-key atmosphere belies the caliber of food coming out of their kitchen. Truly top notch! Its clear a lot of thought and detail went into their menu, and at least for my meal (Pork Belly Salad), execution was flawless. Fantastic flavors, and the belly was cooked perfectly. Chef literally went down to farmers market and bought local produce while I was having lunch. Thats fresh, local goodness! I will definitely be back next time Im in town. Highly recommended!!

The bacon. My husband and I regularly wake up craving the bacon from this particular place. Its smoked in house and melts in your mouth. But thats hardly all - everything here is top-notch, sourced, and not insanely expensive. The menu does rotate seasonally a bit and I love whatever scones theyve come up with - especially the fig ones. Great spot for lazy brunch.

Absolutely awful! Grilled asparagus had a rancid cheese accompaniment and stunk line puke. We asked the the server for olive oil and her response was "dont you wanna try it first" Grilled lettuce salad was tasteless and the fried oysters would have Ben ok if not for the horrible spicy sauce. No lemon or acid and absolutely gross. Save your money

We came in for breakfast and had the best so far from downtown! Everything on my plate had its own flavor (not like it all came from the same pan). The staff was great, there was a steady flow ik and out of the door and no one seems to ait idle for too long. Definitely worth coming in for!

What a lovely place! The pork belly and fried oysters were delicious. Super friendly owner. Instead of kids menu, they cook anything kids want! Ours got pancakes and apple, and they were yummy. Would come here all the time if I lived in Olympia!

Had the veggie omelette with a side of bacon & carrot-orange juice. Service was awesome & the food was terrific. You can definitely taste the fresh quality ingredients. The omelet came with a biscuit and tayberry jam that made my day.

Fantastic, crafted food at an affordable price. And they support farms and community with deep local sourcing. AND, their biscuits and gravy meet my Southern lady standards. Its like my priority values all rolled into one spot. Love it!

The breakfast paradigm was changed for me here with a bowl of savory oatmeal. I had the same reaction to the thought. Then ordered, and am now imploring you, dear reader, to imbibe and enjoy.

Good service and great local "farm to table style" food, but the portions a little small and the place too loud. I only been there once but I think I will give them another shot.

14 local farms represented on this menu! I enjoyed my GF Hang Town Fry and licked the plate clean. And my husbands Wild Boar Hash was delicious. EAT LOCAL!

All made from scratch food. The onion rings are different than any other onion ring you have ever had -the best!
