Our service was terrible. The food (I had) was great. Its hard to rate something like this but, my family and I place higher regard on service. We can forgive icky food much easier than a persons attitude. We came with a 22 month old and asked to be seated outside, since it was a nice afternoon. We were not offered a high chair or booster seat, yet there was a child right next to us who had one. There were two or three young boys screaming and roaming the deck (I understand this is more of the parents responsibility than the restaurant but when you charge almost $20 for my meal, I dont want to deal with this). We saw our waitress three times after we were seated. One to take our orders, once to drop off the food and once to drop off the check. I ordered pasta and was never offered silverware. I had to get up and take a setting from an empty table after waiting a while for her to come back. She never asked how the meal was. My husband and father in law mentioned the burgers they ordered being more rare than medium as well as under-seasoned afterwards. The chairs on the deck are $5 lawn chairs. The menu is one of the most limited Ive seen in a while, meant for very particular tastes. Dont drop your keys or credit card on the deck, itll probably fall right through the cracks into the sound. Overall, not family or service oriented. I dont think well be going back for a very long time, no matter how wonderful the views were.

Called to see if a party of 4 would need a reservation they said no reservation would be needed. I was a bit worried as it was around 7:30 on a Saturday night. We arrived at the restaurant and had a wait of maybe 2 minutes before we were seated. I couldnt believe how fast they were to get us a seat. Rachel our server was amazing. She made sure we had every thing we needed and did it with a great smile. The food was wonderful, I had a burger and chowder, and it was just how I asked for it even after I asked for changes that werent on the menu. The chowder was wonderful. Tender clams not the rubbery clams you get at most places. Portions were good size. I was hungry when I showed up and left full and brought home a snack. If you get the cance try them out. Im sure it will be a good experience.

The food was amazing, unfortunately the service was horrible. We were very disappointed considering we are young parents that rarely get a chance to go on a date. Our server took a long time to even greet us, then we ordered and recieved our salads before our server came back with our drinks or bread. Then we recieved our dinners, and my husbands burger was given to the table next to us so we waited for his burger. Once his burger arrived we still hadnt seen our server since she brought our drinks. Our table was crowded with finished plates and empty drinks and we had needed more napkins since our food arrived. My husband had to go wash his hands in the bathroom since we never were given napkins with dinner.

We usually have a great experience at this place, but the tiger prawns were so salty I had to send it back. As a salt lover I thought I would power right through it, but after 3 of the 8 I was done. My wife tried a bite and notified our server. Our server had the cook grill us 4 new prawns and requested no salt, and that was it besides an apology of course. To be fare the mixed steamers, ribeye, asparagus, rice, blackberry crisp, creme caramel and seasonal taps were good as always. I was definitely not looking for a free meal, but comping one of the deserts would have been a nice gesture to save my experience. It always makes for a great customer experience when you do something special for your customer.

We have eaten here for years and were excited to come back and eat again on our return to the States. The views and the atmosphere were wonderful, as always, but that is where it ended. Food was sub par from what we are used to and quite expensive, including a new charge for the bread which has always been complimentary. The wifes cioppino soup still had beard on the muscles and loads of shell from other pieces of seafood. She complained about it and nothing was done to remedy the problem. Others in our party had issues with their food as well. We were very disappointed with this trip to the Boat Shed. I would expect more for the hundred bucks we spent.

GET THE SALMON DIP! Probably one of the best salmon dishes I have ever had, and Im not even a huge fan! If they had this dip in a ten gallon tub, Id eat it all in the same day. The fish tacos were fairly good as well, and the customer service + the view really ties this place together as a well rounded seafood restaurant. Also, their happy hour deals are worth it, so try to stop by for a late lunch or early dinner! Also, if youre like me and have a sensitive stomach when it comes to seafood, you dont have to worry about this place.

The location is wonderful. But the last couple of times we have been there, the food and service is way below what youd expect from the prices. Our server, though had a beautiful smile, served us at a snails pace and forgetting parts of our order, silverware, napkins and water. Our food was served hot, but dripping of grease. So much grease in the bottom of our baskets, we drained the grease from our baskets and lined with napkins. Our tummies were not happy and the portions were extremely small. We were there 2 hours!

Great food, great location, great views. However, when my husband and I went by ourselves, we eventually had to walk up to the bar and ask for service after waiting for twenty minutes. When we went with another couple about twenty years older than us, we received quick, excellent service. We suspect we were profiled as "that young couple that cant afford to tip well," but maybe we just caught them on a bad night. Still, overall it is a good restaurant.

17 of us arrived unexpectedly on our motorcycles today shortly after noon on a very nice Sunday, and the staff was great about it, took about 5 minutes to get seated, took orders right away. Food was good and orders delivered accurately under the pressure of a large party in addition to their normal work load, atmosphere was great and staff was friendly and accommodating. Looks to me like the deck is awesome during the summer, will be back for that.

I usually love this resturand and was looking forward to having dinner tonight with my husband and our friends. My friend and I both ordered the "special". It was King Salmon and Prawns for $28. Our meal was a very small piece of salmon probably less than 4 oz and 2 tiny shrimp. A lot of money for very little food. The food was very good and the service was good but Im very unhappy and feel cheated with the price paid for the food we got.
