Our server was very sweet. The food was so so. But what really bothered me was when we went to pay they informed us their card machine was down. Between the three of us we only had cards as we had already used our cash to tip and the waitress shouldnt have to suffer due to the companies issue. It was the most awkward experience of my life. The lady working the register stared as if we could pull money from thin air. What could we do? They knew it wasnt working but didnt tell us as they sat us. I wish I could describe in better detail just how rude this lady was. We offered to come back and pay but she asked to just write my card number on some scrap. I work at a bank and get calls constantly of people whos information gets into the wrong hands just from things like this. I shouldnt have to risk my card information getting out for a small check for sub par food and would have ran to an ATM and came right back but she refused to offer any alternatives. mind you they are still sitting people at this time with no mention of the issue. It takes a lot for me to want to write a review especially to bad mouth an individual but I am just heated over how this woman reacted to an issue that was out of my hands.

Good food, good environment, decent price. But its a restaurant, not your grandmas house. Too many people complain about being able to make the same food better at home - then go home and make it yourself. For the rest of us, First Watch is great. I love their various fresh fruit options. I dont feel like im going to have a heart attack when i walk out of there. Good job, FW. Good job.

A nice breakfast choice if you want something more healthy than a fry up at The Hitching Post, but a shorter wait than Sleepy Bee Cafe. The service is a hit or miss with some servers who are great and some who just arent. The food is good, not great and although the flavor combos on the menu sound really good, the food that is served just isnt quite as good as it could be.

I havent been to First Watch in Rookwood for awhile especially on the weekend. It is always packed with a long wait BUT hold on. My daughter used their app we waited 5 mins if that. I had the barbacoa benedict and it was awesome.

The service was great! Our server was Christopher and he was awesome! The food was absolutely delicious and we definitely will be back! Delicious food, great atmosphere and service! Definitely recommend this place!

I came from Miami to see Cincinnati zoo unfortunately the animals so suffer i get out and I came to first watch restaurant it fixed my mood and has a nice atmosphere , the food so delicious

Great food. 45 minute wait at the peak of the Sunday brunch rush, but can honestly say it was worth it. (Being able to pass the time next door at Joesph Beth bookstore certainly helps!)
