Good steaks, somewhat decent service. We went in around closing, so it may not be an accurate, usual experience. First of all, the steak I tried to order (the 22oz, bone-in ribeye) was sold out. That was a bit disappointing, but I got the porterhouse, which was just as big, just not quite what I was wanting. The bread was over toasted, not abig deal, but kind of set the pave for the rest of the dinner. The salads were pretty good, though mine had FAR LESS Bleu cheese crumbles than hers, which was also disappointing. The steaks came out quickly, and were prepared as ordered; they were well-seared, hers was a perfect medium inside, mine a perfect medium rare, just as we ordered. I would say that they were a bit over seasoned, to the point that they were on the verge of spicy. I like a fair amount of saltiness, but I certainly didnt want my steak to be spicy. Die asked for some A1 Steak Sauce, which the waiter never brought. The mashed potatoes were fine. We finished up with plenty of leftovers. The bill would have been fine if they didnt have the technical errors mentioned above, but considering all of the issues with our dinners, $60+ was a bit steep. With a big chain like Outback, you should be able to expect consistency. I would recommend other Outback restaurants without hesitation, but would recommend steering clear of this one.

I was reminded why I dont eat here. While the restroom was clean at this location, the latch on one of the stall doors is completely missing. The menu items are on the more expensive side of chain restaurant dining, and you can basically choose from steak, chicken or shrimp. I choose a steak with a baked potato and lettuce wedge salad. My husband got the prime rib, potato and Caesar salad. The friendly waitress brought out the salads first. My husbands came in a hot bowl, fresh from the dishwasher or plate warmer. The Caesar salad was more like collard greens with salad dressing because of the wilted lettuce. The waitress brought him a fresh salad on a chilled plate. When the main course arrive, my steak was not cooked correctly. I asked for the meat to be cooked well-done, but it was still really bloody throughout -- even on the sides. An investment in a meat thermometer could have prevented this. The steak I had already sliced into was put back onto the grill and brought back to me tougher and drier than an over-cooked piece of chicken. (Isnt it a health code violation to take food customers have already picked at back into the kitchen to prepare alongside fresh food? I have no idea.) There is a different restaurant chain across the street that has longer hours, better food and more variety that I would rather go to next time.

I ordered a Ribeye steak and received a stiff, overdone porkchop. The beer selection is very dismal (this is Portland, get it together people). I could cook a much better ribeye on my own, as well as mash my own potatoes and actually throw some garlic in there as advertised. My fiance and I came here because its close and we had a gift card. Fortunately, the gift card put a dent in the heftily priced menu items. Gentlemen, have some confidence in yourself. If you think of going and getting a steak here, you will be much better off picking one up at Freddies and throwing it on the grill yourself. If youre not feeling a steak, go to Bdubs instead. Foods better, and they have an outstanding beer selection.

This was a horrible experience. Wasnt greated for 2 minutes upon arrival. The blooming onion appetizer was burnt, had to ask 3 times for more water and juice for my son. The ribs were cold and my burger was cold. The fries were partially edible. Food is very pricey, quality is very poor and staff are indifferent. Overheard one of the only other customers having issues with MANY things as well! Save your money and go to Buffalo wild wings, applebees or even Carls Jr! The bread and water and getting to leave to get the nasty taste out of our mouths were the only positives! And we were only 1 of 4 customers in the entire restaurant at 1pm on a Sunday!

Bloomin onion was burnt, order was mixed up, when we told the manager, he proceeded to try and "verify" an issue ocurred ( this he repeated several times). Defensive and combative, when we were trying to tell him to get his cooks to do better job and pay closer attention to detail. He immediatly seemed to think we were trying to get something out of it, when he interrupted my girlfriend for the second time, I interrupted him and told him to get our check. We had never had a problem there before, out of maybe 20 visits. But thanks to the Manager Dunston, we wont be going back for some time.

I have eaten in Outback all across the country, to include 1 inside an airport. This was the only one I have ever complained about. It was about 8pm on a Friday evening. Place was almost empty, but the service was so slow. I was sitting at the bar, and the the bar tender was more concerned with talking with coworker than waiting on a paying customer. The steak had a funny taste to it. Never had a complaint about the steaks in these restaurants. This is the one and only time I have eaten at this locale. Luckily there is another one in my area.

I have been to Outback at least 20 times. I am not some expert on fine dinning, but Outback delivers with good quality food and drinks. I read the negative reviews and always think to myself , "if it is not right, why dont you send it back to the kitchen?". I do not work in food service but I did when I was in my late teens and early twenties. I frequent Portland City Bar and Grill, Portland Prime, Mortons, etc, and still enjoy Outback on a weekly basis. My recommendation, try them for yourself and make your own review here on Google.

One time I had a full rack of ribs and it was WAY WAY over salted. I dont send food back ever cause I dont want to insult anyone but it was very bad. Like I still think it couldnt have been a mistake lol. Every other time Ive been there the food was awesome and it is a calming atmosphere. This place doesnt open until dinner hours. Its a bit on the spendier side. But worth it. The bread and butter are my absolute favorite thing about this place and I hope they never evor change it.

We went here for my birthday, our food was ok, the drinks were extremely watered down and when we asked our waitress about it, she just stated that they normally are like that. We were told that for my birthday, I would get a free dessert (yay) but I was really disappointed that the free dessert was literally a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some crushed up oreo cookies. Outback, you disappointed us and made my special birthday dinner pretty lame.

This place has a reputation for NOT HONORING TV AD PRICES. A few days ago my wife and I wen there to receive the 12 oz sirloin for the "rollback price" advertised on TV for $12.99 only to discover that on this locations menu the only one that was $12.99 was only SIX OUNCES. So since we were there we ordered anyway and paid $18.99 for the 8 Oz steaks which WERE FULL OF GRISSLE AND HARDLY EATABLE. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!!!!
