Im a regular customer here and my most recent experience at Cafe Bollywood has left me frustrated and unsure of whether Ill return. I called to place a takeout order on Sunday evening and was put on hold. Okay, no problem. I anticipated that they would probably have some sort of dinner rush. But dinner rush or not, that doesnt explain being left on hold for 29 minutes without any follow up. I decided to test them and see what would be faster, being taken off hold so that I could finally place my order or walking over there from my apartment to physically place an order. Lets just say that the latter won. After reaching the cashier, I informed them that I was the customer they placed on hold, holding out my phone and showing them how long the call had been. I received a short "sorry", no explanation or anything. He then promised that my order would be ready in the next 2-3 minutes which was a blatant lie. Our order was finally ready after 15 minutes, which would have been fine if he hadnt told us otherwise. Overall its clear that this place doesnt value their customers time. I wouldnt recommend this place if youre looking for a quick bite to eat. They have okay food but after this experience, the once comforting feeling I got from their Chicken Tikka Masala has taken a sour turn. Disappointing.

Very good Indian food ! Service could be better. Been here twice and tried a variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Everything we tried was really good! Was excited to find a restaurant that made rumaali rotis. The chicken tikka masala was my favorite! The place is quite small and they have additional seating outside. Nice to sit outside in summer but otherwise, theres not a lot of room inside and it gets very smokey from the open kitchen. Take-out might be a better option than sitting there with all the smoke and noise. Service - the first time I was there, it was super crowded and it took a long time to get our food. We had to check multiple times cause they kept forgetting a few things each time. I figured it must be because of multiple orders and the crowd. The second time, was for take-out, and after getting home, we found that they didnt pack everything that was on the order and paid for. It was too far to go back and a bad experience since we had friends over for lunch and ended up with insufficient food. There wasnt even a lot of crowd this time. Ill remember to check my take-out order before I leave the restaurant next time, but I hope they are more careful going forward, to provide a better customer experience.

Writing this review while sitting at the restaurant. Food is not bad here. Thaalis during lunch are specially good. But they just take so much time!! And sometimes they just forget about the order completely. I have been sitting here for 25 mins now alongwith a couple of other folks hoping my food will be delivered soon. Seeing no signs of food getting ready, I went to the counter to check. They had forgotten about it. Once okay, but twice?? Also, they dont seem to always follow the order numbers. I hope they improve.

Good to average place for Indian food. A heaven for anyone from India feeling homesick. Also serves items like Vada Pav, lassi and samosas. While the cooks overdo most of the items with turmeric, chillies and oil ( maybe thats their definition of being an Indian restaurant) the food is good to taste. There are no servers, you have to buy your food in advance and will be given a token number for service call . Doesnt serve alcoholic beverages.

I go to this place very regular because of decent food but once I took my infant son n wife to this place. I requested for a high chair and the guy in front desk made me wait for 5 mins after we checked with himthrice he said they only have 2 high chairs n they are occupied currently. Are they expecting crowd without kids ? Very bad service.. Families with kids stay away...

The food is good but this place is an absolute no to go to for a sit down dinner. We waited for 60 mins for our orders to come when on the other hand the to-go orders kept flying out of the door. There was no water to drink and unbearably hot to sit inside, with no attention given to customers who had come in for dinner

Loved the food, we had a late night snack at midnight, had Cholay Batooray and samosa chaat and tea, delicious, just the right taste and spiciness as it should be. Good quality. We had come in very late, and they were still very accommodating and very pleasant, will recommend to all and will visit again

I urge the cook to work on their Khima when you call your butcher ask for "ground goat meat". Stuff served to me was big goat chunks ! Other things my friends ordered were ok. I recently revisited on a friends recommendation for their Mumbai style chaat, definitely coming back for Samosa chaat.

The food good for a while. For past few days however there has been a sharp decline in the quality of food served. On top of that the person at cash counter has an attitude problem. Maybe the immediate success has gone in his head. They need to fix their food quality and their attitude.

Nice tasting and quality to-go or dine-in combo Indian meals. Really liked the options, meal sizing and reasonable pricing. Worth a visit every few weeks. Dont miss out on the Naans (Breads) especially Garlic, Paneer based veggie entrees and their Dal Tadka with White Rice.

Food is good... but the time they take to serve the food is too much. So if you are hungry and want to eat something in 10-15 minutes then dont opt for this restaurant. Slowest restaurant in the city. It took them over 35 mins to finally bring my food.

I didnt like their food. We ordered for tilapia fish and we got salmon. The tanduri chicken was little dry. The quality of their biriyani was not edible. We ordered five items and waited an hour for food. I like their mango lacci (mango yogurt shake).

Recently they have reduced the quality of food. Yesterday night I reordered Dahi Bhalle. They were hard and stale. No wonder I am having stomach ache since morning. Avoid the place if possible.

Love the fact that there is a casual Indian place thats open late and serves good food in Bellevue. I liked the naans and the tandoori chicken. Friendly service as well.

Great alternative if youre looking for satisfying curry and naan but dont want to wait around at a busy sit down restaurant. Get the veg samosa with your order!

Great food! The place is busya and the floor is understaffed. At times it dosent give a good vibe to dine in. Minus this eveything else is good! Friendly staff!

Ordered Tandoori chicken and Lacha paratha. Tasted delicious. Took 20 minutes because they prepare fresh but worth the wait! Will go again definitely.

The food is not really great compared to other Indian restaurants around. I went there for rumali roti, but it was really not as soft as it should be
