Great food and great service! I went there for dinner on my birthday ,and I was very happy with the way they made my birthday special. We ordered Kastoori curry with lamb(Nepalese style butter chicken), Kukhura Ko masu with chicken( Nepalese style curry with cilantro and tomato) and a Garlic Naan. Entrees come with basmati rice, and it was plenty of food for 2 of us. Both curries were definitely one of the best indian/nepali curries Ive ever had, and Ive tried many different curries ,and I love indian curry. We are definitely going back to try their lunch buffet, so we can taste all the other curries they have. Their mango lassi was very smooth and great too! Mango mousse was large and can be shared by up to 4 people. After experiencing their customer service and food combined, we were a very happy customer, and we are definitely going back and recommending this restaurant to friends!!!

I had to take carryout buffet. What I took was just 3 items from the buffet, pakoda and gulabjamuns(6). I did not take Nan and asked for a container for rice which I thought is biryani rice. Well I asked the person if I could use the container for pakoda instead. He said ok. By the time I was but to check out he said that I have taken extra container and extra so he is going to charge me extra $1 I was OK with that as well but then he charge me $15. I thought the buffet is for $14. He just cheated and cared $3 extra overy the buffet. Its nothe about the charge but the Dishonesty for this manger/owner for couple of dollars.

This place is amazing! Food is fantastic and the service was phenomenal as well. Our 3 year old daughter loved the owner from the minute we walked in the door. We asked him what he recommended for her, and she loved the Momo! Very tasty steamed dumplings with chicken and veggies. Garlic naan plus Gobi Manchurian (paneer and peppers/onions in sweet chili sauce) for app was delicious. My husband had tandoori chicken which he ate down to the bone, and I had chicken tikka masala. So good! Will be back as often as we can!

Flavorful food all around. I went there last nite and had the mint lamb soft and super tasty. Today i tried out the buffet everything had balance. The owner Pasand is one of the nicest business owners ive ever met. I come home twice a year to visit family and have been going to his coffee shop next door. Glad he mentioned this restaurant is his also. This is my favorite restaurant back home

You may need to go to the dentist after eating here because the flavorful morsels LITERALLY explode in your mouth. I got the lunch buffet which was only 12 bucks, VERY reasonable for such an amazing spread, the rice was soft and delicious, the chicken tikka masala was INSANE, the naan that came with the buffet was heavenly. I cannot say enough great things about this place.

Ive always been a lover of Indian food. The Himalayan Cafe has a very good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. The Gobi Manchurian appetizer is fried cauliflower with a sweet and sour garlic sauce... Wonderful! The Spinach Naan is one of the best Ive tasted. I would say the Himalayan Cafe has become one of my favorite places in Renton to dine.

I have been going to this particular indian restaurant for a while now, i held off writing them a review until i can see consistant quality in their food. The owners are very good folks and always greet you with a warm smile. Their food is very consistant in quality every time you eat there, one of the best indian food spots for miles.

I hava seen this place many times finally gave in. We ordered garlic naan, goat curry, their specialty Himalayan chicken curry and mixed veggies. Service was quick and friendly. The only thing is they have us regular naan but no biggy. Well come back definitely. Want to try their all you can eat lunch.

We reached there 30 min before their closing time and ordered momos, garlic naan and nepalese chicken. Garlic naan was delicious and nepalese chicken was flavorful (we asked to make it spicy). Momos were not upto our expectations. Altogether, we felt the food was good but not totally worth the price.

DELICIOUS!!! Came for lunch. I was seated promptly and the food was amazing. It was a lunch buffet so I tried a little of everything. Good quality and great tasting. The naan was to die for! Love everything about this place and if I didnt live out of state Id probably eat here for lunch everyday.

Oh my goodness the food here was good. Be careful though, the portions are big. We ended up getting enough food to feed to extra people. We just took it home. Shopping can be a small bit of a problem and its not a large space by any means, so keep that in mind when making plans to visit.

Ive tried quite a bit of Indian food and I am not the biggest fan of this place. I tried the chicken tikka masala and the chicken was cut into VERY large chunks and was chicken breast which was dry and grainy. Not the best version, but not the worst. The restaurant wouldnt be my first choice.

Took my family here on Sunday afternoon. Easily the best indian food Ive had in probably a couple years. Everything about this place is great. I had a $10 indian beer, i dont know why its so expensive. Just stick to craft domestic for $4.50. They have a decent selection. Go here already!!

This place is great. The prices are a little high, but I understand that starting out as a new restaurant. The owner is very pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommended their butter chicken and tikka masala. The buffet was a steal at $12. Expect to pay $15-16 for a curry during dinner.

Such good food. They have all of my favorite Indian dishes and many I had never tried before. The Himalayan food was light with subtle flavor that slowly reveals itself. We ordered dishes that we had never tried before and they were all amazing. I highly recommend eating here.

Buffet was ok. Had a fair variety of options, including okra, which I have never cared for until today. $30.00 for two ($12 each buffet plus tax and tip). Just a bit much compared to others that get $8.99 for the same buffet fare. I also enjoyed the Gulab Jamun hot tub...

The head host, who I think is either an owner or manager came off as a genuine and awesome guy! Very welcoming and the buffet had a lot to choose from (compared to other Indian food buffets). 5 star overall experience. Super reasonable price for the entire experience

Pretty great food. Portions look small, but are filling. Friendly staff. Only downside was the tiny rice serving. I got Extra rice at no charge, but it wasnt stated whether its normally free or if you have to pay. If you have to pay, Id feel its not worth the price.
