Its seems like I never get around writing reviews ,but my experience at this place compel me to write one , I had been visiting this place quite often for lunch coz its pretty much close to my ofc but this time went on.weekend with my friend ,they have new items on the menu which is extremely great, I always like the butter chk with bread but this time the boy at the counter suggested me a big silver platter where I can enjoy little bit of all curries ,butter chk also included , the price is just couple of dollars more than the single butter chk but worth , I loved the cracker and the tomato soup comes with it ,I bet the boy is thought how to upsell great job good suggestion , the place was clean , friendly service ,will definitely bring my family on one weekend .

This is a small little place nestled in a strip mall with spartan staff. Its a little mom-and-pop (well pop in this case) joint but let me tell you -- I had the best Idly and butter masala dosa combo there in whole Seattle! Specially, the chutney and sambar sides were well made. Beware, if your party is anything more than approx 3-4 you might have to wait quite a while because I guess there are like total two people preparing meal and couple of take-out orders waiting. However, you can enjoy the free tea while there if thats your thing.

Masala dosa was awesome.The potato masala was made the way we do it home.Nicely fried pearl onions made it all the more tasty. Excellent combination with coconut chutney ,tomato chutney and sambhar. Topped it up with piping hot tea.Never knew tea could be this nice .It being complimentary makes it all the more beautiful . We could spend the time drinking tea and watching tv while we wait for our ordered food Want to appreciate the management and the cook for the great food and awesome place. Would come again ,again and again

I visited Dakshin earlier this afternoon. Food is really tasty and very reasonably priced! Service was relatively fast given the number of customers that came in at the time I visited the restaurant. Owner is very affable and friendly. There isnt much space in the restaurant but the ambience is comfy. They have free Indian chai and filter coffee. The food is served in compostable plates and cups. The bistro honors the Prime Card - I believe its 10% off your order for lunch. I would definitely visit this place again.

Nice South Indian options, but the seating is very small, and cheap looking. Not a place youd go for the ambience, but definitely great for food. Sambhar is on a slightly sweet side - for Sambhar nerds: I believe more of a Karnataka flavor than a Tamilnadu flavor. So thats that. BIRYANI seekers: Call them and check when they serve biryani through the week as not all of their biryani options are cooked daily, and some days they run out of it. Idli: was nice and tasty with the coconut chutney when we went.

Oh my gosh. BEST butter chicken I have EVER tasted in my life. I CRAVE it on a daily basis. This little local restaurant is a must try! The prices are great and the portions are enough to share if you are not too hungry.The owner is so friendly as well. Next time I will try the crepe!

Dont be deceived by the inside of the restaurant. The food was so so good. I enjoyed each item I tried. The staff was friendly and patient with me as I asked them questions about the different spices. Do try this place. You will need not be disappointed in the food served.

Are you craving for dosa/dhosai/thosai? Because this place serves really good dosa. Try pairing it with butter chicken curry. Their roti pratha is good too. I come here every time I want to satisfy my cravings for indian curries. Oh, and they provide free flow chai tea!

A very nice place for authentic south indian food. Try the mysore masala dosa, its one of my favourites here. Giving 4 stars because its a self serve restaurant and the seating place is also a bit small. Both veg and non-veg options are available.

This place has authentic south indian dishes. The guy at the counter is really helpful in explaining all the dishes. It is a self service place with small amount of sitting options. They provide takeouts. Recommend you to try idly manchurian

Fantastic food! Top notch! Id take this over a fancy restaurant any day! Their chicken curry melts in your mouth and the biryani is the best in the area, trust me, Ive tried many, many places! Service is good and the staff are very friendly.

Departure from typical India fare. If you like or want to discover cuisine from Southern India, give them a try. My recommendation goes to the Chicken Wrap Dosa. The Idli Manchurian is a great appetizer.
