The service was laughably bad. I mean I have traveled all over the world and have never in my 46 years of life ever experienced more poor service. This unfortunately was my second attempt at this restaurant. The first time I found it over priced for the portions, the waiter or owner or whomever he was, took his time in serving my son and I. We were the only other table occupied in there. He acted as if we were annoying him by being there. My son, sweet guy that he his, and young I might add, did not notice. So for his 16th birthday he asks me to take him again.....what am I to say? This time however was for thew books. No one else was in there....we waited, we waited, he walked by and wiped down an empty table and said hed be with us in a bit....no waters, no greeting. We order, we wait, again the food is awfully slow in coming. It is decent, but again I cringe at paying $12.00 for such small portions. We wait, we wait....our water glasses empty. I put my card out hoping maybe he will give us the bill. He does and brings his little credit card machine to the table. He tries to run the card. He says something is wrong, he tries again.....he says my bank is not communicating with his machine. He asks me to use another card. I said all my cards are from BECU. He says "BECU?". I reply, "Yes, Boeing Employees Credit Union"...to which he replies (I love this part) "Well, anyone can get a card there now, not just employees....". Um, ok. He tries again and says we will have to wait, he has done everything he can do. At this point I didnt really know what to do.....I called my husband, feeling bad we were werent home yet as we have young children and wed been gone a long time, and because I was hoping as an attorney maybe hed have advice? I dunno, it was weird, so weird, in fact, he was so rude, I kinda was thinking thered be a hidden camera. Maybe it was for a tv show? So he huffs and puffs behind us saying he will try gain, but we will have to keep waiting. He appears with his little machine again, and low and behold it works this time. He says under his breath "oh, I see what I did....". Yea, you lost two customers.

We used to love the Curry Bistro. This restaurant used to serve the best Indian food I have tried in the U.S. Having lived in England, I am used to the best Indian food. The prior owner named Lucky was friendly and funny. Lucky, if you are reading this I would like to thank you for serving the best Indian food in the area. I could taste the "love" and care spent on preparing the food from scratch. Last night, we were excited to eat at the Curry Bistro but immediately noticed a change in service and quality due to a change of ownership. The tomato soup that was served was from a can. The new owner does not even know how to serve tables. We had to ask for napkins, water and forks. The channa masala that followed was not good compared to the past when Lucky was the owner. It is too bad that so many bad reviews were posted during Luckys ownership of the curry bistro related to customer service. People do not realize that there are cultural differences. I just miss eating the best Indian food in town. Lucky, if you are reading this, thank you again for serving the best.

My husband and I went for lunch a few days ago. We walked in and it the place was dirty and very cold and very small. The lady working told us we could sit any where. We sat down and looked at the menu. The waitress brought us water and took our order. We ordered butter chicken and two sides ofor Naan. It was so cold my husband and I had to trade places (he was in front of the door) I got my food first, first my rice then about 3 minutes later my butter chicken. We had to wait another five minutes for my husbands food. About 6 minutes later we got out naan. We started to eat and was very disappointed our butter chicken was very watery and my chicken was rubbery, our naan was not fresh. It was microwaved. Im assuming it was from the freezer. Pieces of the naan were hard from being over cooked. The food was over priced and the quality was horrible. We will not be goin back. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

I ordered a lunch special. I was quickly seated and served. The food was excellent. Yes the service isnt happy and bubbly, but it is efficient and you get good food. I ordered the butter chicken expecting something typical and creamy like most ordinary Indian restaurants; instead, I received butter chicken that was probably the best Ive had in a long time. It had actual flavor, actual spice, and it wasnt that hyper-creamy consistency that most Indian restaurants serve up. The chicken was also wonderful--it wasnt that mystery dark meat that a lot of cheap Indian places serve up -- it was quality white chicken meat that tasted fresh and succulent. Absolutely delicious. Dont go here expecting to find a nice chatty server (does that really matter?)--go here instead to find delicious Indian food. Definitely going again next time I have a craving for Indian food.

Havent visited this for 4 years,so decided to visit it with my best friend as this was one of my favorite place. But I wasnt expecting that .we went for lunch last week and was completely shocked with the environ inside.when we entered inside the restaurant ,the waitress was sitting down and the guy in the kitchen with glasses probably so called chef was picking his nose with his hand. Even though we ordered our food ignoring the scene and we kept on watching the chef, he started preparing food with the same hand which he was picking up his nose.it was totally gross. From then on we will not be coming in this place anymore.i feel sorry for the owner but this is not the way it works. Staff should be taught about the hygiene too. I would like to give 0 star if it is possible

We love the food here. I agree with other reviews that the owner can SEEM rude and offensive, but they are both actually very nice, generous people if you give them a chance and get to know them. Try to keep in mind that they come from a different culture and what may seem "wrong" to me isnt wrong to them. They do things differently. The food is absolutely amazingly delicious. The butter chicken is to live for. I had the curry chicken and I think the Vindaloo (sp??) chicken and both were just delicious. I wish I could eat there every day. We chatted with the owner as we were leaving and found him to be very nice. It would be easy to misunderstand and misjudge him though. I highly recommend the Curry Bistro. Its all about the food, and the food is delicious.

If I could give it a zero I would have. I bought a Groupon and he said that I have to pay for the complimentary rice at $4 because of it. When we lightly questioned this method he said Groupon makes money he doesnt. We said we never would have even come to spend money here if it wasnt for the Groupon he rudly told us we could just cancel our order then if we wanted. He was just outright rude from the beginning and the transaction was just uncomfortable. He stood over us while he went through his phone checking that the Groupon was valid. I will never come back here again. Groupon or not. I havent even tasted the food yet but even if its the best thing Ive ever tasted I still will never set foot in this place again. I recommend you do the same.
