This place was an absolute dive, and not a cool dive that you would want to go to. We went there after getting to town and waiting to check in at our rental house. We didnt get greeted by our servers for at least ten minutes, despite several other servers walking by our table and saying nothing to us. We were finally greeted and then our server took another ten minutes to bring our drinks. We asked for our kids meal to come out as quickly as possible because our toddler was getting fussy and this did not happen. We were ready to walk out after waiting about twenty to thirty minutes when we flagged down another server to ask where our food was. The server came back and said it would a few minutes more, so we waited because we really had no other choice. When the food finally arrived, it was poor to average. My daughters mac n cheese was dried out as it had sat in the window waiting for the rest of the food to come up. Just a very bad experience overall. Will not return there for the rest of my vacation even though it probably will not matter to them, since most of their customers are probably vacationers in town and dont know any better until its too late.

We just arrived to town and landed at Sandbridge Island for dinner. The place seemed busy so we anticipated a wait. However, the wait we received after ordering became ridiculous. 1 hr and 45 mins for steamed crab legs and slice of pizza. We brought it to the attention of our waitress and we were given a reply that the kitchen was backed up. The response seemed offensive as we noted others around us who came in after us receiving their food. Either way, being slammed is no excuse for poor communication. I think she forgot to put the order in or the ticket slip blew under the frig. It was an hour after we first sat down when we made a comment to our hostess that prompted our waitress to check in on us and refill the water. And that was a booth by the front entrance. Food was good. And the all girl staff was friendly. It is sad the whole experience had to be over shadowed by the feeling of neglect. And 3 hours of our evening. People make mistakes but its how you handle them that can make the difference between a completely satisfied customer and one that writes a negative review.

This is an amazing beachfront bar that obviously has been around for many years! The locals are full of information and willing to give friendly advice. The entire staff deserves five stars! This is not a large restaurant and is one of only three in Sandbridge! So for those who complain about having to wait to be seated or think service is slow...bad on you! Youre on vacation with about 3000 other people who if choose to eat out with out leaving the "Island " dont have many choices and all want to eat within about a three hour span. If you want faster service because you and your family dont want to drive 7 miles to where there are 50 other restaurants to eat at or you cant get along that well together while waiting...I say maybe you should change you venue next year! You came here to enjoy yourself. ...try doing just that. Remember when youre here relax youre on vacation! Luv this bar.

If you have never been here this is a must go on your next trip to Sandbridge! Great environment for the whole family! Excellent customer service (especially since we were there during a big event that was happening on the Boardwalk that weekend). My whole group thought that it was so good that we went three nights in a row. Out of those three nights that we went the staff was AMAZING! Friendly, fast, attentive, polite, kind, informative of great things to suggest to someone who had never been there before(food, drinks, places to go in the area for fun, and giving directions to those places) etc. Even though we went three different nights and had different servers and bartenders each night all of them showed all of these qualities across the board. I really enjoyed my experience and WILL be visiting again on my next trip and you should too! :)

Food was very good except for the calamari. We had calamari, she crab soup, cheese steak sandwiches and onion rings, kids popcorn shrimp, kids burgers, and Bacon and egg burger. The problem was the flies. My kids spent most of our time waiting for food killing flies. They killed about 10 in our window and there were more flying around our heads while we ate. And when we I asked the waiter and waitress who served us just shrugged thier shoulders and said wished we could but theres nothing we can do. I wold never eat in again....may get take put bc the cheese steak was excellent. Would have given them a better score if the fly situation wasnt a problem and if wait staff wasnt so inddlfferent.

Ordered Philly cheesesteak pizza and the mushrooms, green peppers and onions were not baked into the pizza. They appeared to have been tossed on as an afterthought after the pizza was done and they were raw vegetables, and cold. Easy to pick off as they didnt even attach to the melted cheese. Lack of customer service when I complained about it because I already had it home before realized how this was. Also got a Bbq chicken pizza that had all of its toppings baked right in and was good, but feel they fouled up the Philly cheesesteak and didnt make it right.

We were looking for public beach access, free parking, and good food. Sandbridge Island Restaurant satisfied all three! As with all seafood places, the menu can be pricey. So my family of four ordered waters and split an 18" Philly Cheese Steak pizza. The pizza was amazing and our service was great! Our lunch, including a good tip, was just under $30, which wasnt bad for a family lunch-date. We are already planning our next outing to Sandbridge beach and to our new favorite little dive.

I ordered french fries with ranch and onion rings. Onion rings were good but the container of ranch was very small. I asked for another container and the server gave me two big containers that seemed like thick ranch, but I was scammed. It was blue cheese. Most disgusting thing ive ever eaten. I would rate -1/5 but its not possible ://. Also my friends coleslaw was bland and had no taste. Eating flies would have tasted better. Which was an option cause they were everywhere.

The food was good and they got our orders right. The portion size of our shrimp appetizer was disappointing, however. The service was less than great. It was very slow, though they did look busy. We opted to eat inside because if flies and cigarette smoke, but ended up eating with a bunch of flies around anyways. Overall I would try this place again on a less busy day. Its in a great location right across the street from the beach. Just wasnt a great first impression.

Its a dive but a beach dive! The kind you look for when you are in a suit and flip flops. The bar offers I wide variety of specialized drinks and a decent wine selection if you arent into hard liquor. We stopped in for lunch and it wasnt very busy. I imagine it only gets more interesting as the day wears on. Flyers are posted with live music being offered. Food it hot and sandwiches are plenty. Dinner options dont begin until 4pm.
