In a word,,, awful. This has to be the worst Chinese food Ive ever eaten. I do not regularly write on line reviews, but I decided to after trying this restaurant as it is newly open , next to the displaced keegans pub. I ordered the Gen Tsao chicken Another word... horrible. This stuff wasnt fit for the dog and the garbage disposal ate better than I did that night. Old, dried out and gristly, it was simply awful. The chicken wouldnt even cut; instead it would splinter, like glass. I assume the proprietors attempted to get over on the customer by using the waste chicken part in hopes that the thick breading and sugary orange slime would disguise its true abysmal quality. I wanted to take it back and ask fthat my money be returned, but Id rather let others know to stay away, save your money and eat elsewhere.

I agree with previous reviews. The food is horrible. It was easy to order online and the food arrived pretty fast. But as soon as my friends and i took the first bite out of our dished we nearly had to spit it out. First some of it tasted under cooked and mostly it was bland. The chow mien had no taste....not even the veggies. The bourbon chicken and szechuan chicken & shrimp is supposed to have the most flavor but nothing. The szechuan chicken wasnt even hot. Maybe if theyd spent more time on the food it wouldve tasted better. I suggest looking else where for better chinese food.

We decided to try them due to the online ordering feature. Ordered General Tso chicken, Bourbon chicken and Lo-mein noodles. Meals stated came with fried rice and egg roll. Both were delivered with white rice and no egg rolls. Chicken was dry with minimal sauce and the noodles were bland. Will definitely stick to Jade Garden, even though the location next to us doesnt deliver. Jade Gardens food is EXCELLENT. We wouldnt recommend China King. Overpriced for the quality. Disappointed.

It was just okay. Fried rice was flavorless. General Tsaos chicken wasnt horrible, but not the greatest. And the fried dumplings were decent. Nothing to write home about, for sure. Also, I ordered the lunch combonation that was supposed to come with an egg roll and they gave me a soda instead /: But I suppose the soda was the only thing that wasnt really a let down. I ordered online, which was easy, and they were here pretty fast. But Im not so sure Ill order from them again.

Thank Heaven for China King!! The "South Beach" area of Va. Beach has been woefully lacking a GOOD Chinese restaurant/takeout spot. We now have one! Granted - its not a full fledged pile in for a family sit down meal, but well take it and be grateful because the food is awesome!!! Everything weve had has been hot, delicious, NOT greasy or salty. And get this...each dish tastes DIFFERENT! Like theyre supposed to!! The prices are terrific too! Thank you China King!

China King has _the_ best Chinese food in Virginia Beach. Its quick, not greasy, a great price and very unique. I LOVE that they have an online menu so that you can order your food on the net, then go in and pick it up! Im very, very picky about Chinese food. So picky that I drive 25 minutes just to get China King. Ive eaten there over 15+ times and never have I once had anything bad. Sure theres little Chinese restaurants all around town, but none of them compare.

Prices are normal, and they have a large menu. Online ordering was easy, but I didnt get a phone or email confirmation. And they stated "very fast" delivery, but it took almost 45 minutes and we were only 10 minutes away. Food wasnt fantastic, but it was good enough to order from again.They do have a $10 minimum for delivery, which is not stated on the website.

Food was good, not great, but good. Found my credit card number and expiration date written on the menu that came with my food, not exactly sure why, but really unprofessional, who knows how many people have seen my card number. And weird thing is I paid online, never called and gave them my info. I will not be ordering from this place again.

So ordered online and it took two phone calls in a two hour span from when I placed my order to the time I got it. When I called they tried to charge me again for my original order. Food taste ok service sucks and they still got my order wrong. Never going to order from here again.

Terrible service. Waited an hour for my order, then they called and said my address was too far and wouldnt be delivering, despite the fact that Ive ordered from their establishment multiple times before. Really bad experience.

Food is decent, ordering online is easy but I dont think its secure. Had someone try and use my card to order a bunch of clothing from a foreign site less than 24 hours after the transaction on their site.
