Let me start by saying I love Steak. Ive had cheap ones. Ive had $100+ ones in Vegas. My friends and I had left Kings Dominion late and wanted to eat dinner near our motel. The Truck stop was the only not fast food place still open, so we figured what the heck, cant be too bad. Boy were we surprised. The food was amazing. We each had a different item and each one was Delicious. I had the 20oz Porterhouse and it was the best steak Ive ever had. It was so tender and juicy and almost melted in my mouth. It was so good, we went there the next morning for breakfast and all had the Breakfast steak. This place was amazing and I highly recommend it.

The regular staff is great but the managers are straight up rude. They need to have better order in this store. I went to purchase an item which it was on the $25 rack and when the manager went to charge me he said it was $42. I told him and showed him where the item was at and he said "well your choice i dont have all night. Are you going to pay the $42 or not? If not come back tomorrow" what kind of management is this?

I make a trip from North Carolina to Washington DC every month for nearly 2yrs and particularly stop at THIS Flying J(North Bound 95 side) because of the employees and general availability of everything. I have read some of the other reviews and I have to wonder if theres been a change of management in this store based on some of what Ive read, but Ive not seen a lot of what has been said.

This place USED to be a great Petro. Now its a crappy excuse for a truck stop. Whoever decided to re-do the parking lot and make every spot a blindside should be shot. By adding a new fuel island closer to the building they also took away about 30-40 parking spots. I cant stand stopping here now. Such a good truck stop ruined by flying j.

Dont go to the T/A if want good food. Be warned this truckstop is busy one and parking is always overflooded. I suggest to eat here and park at the truckstop at the Kings Dominion exit..Lots of parking. Old truckstop many dont know about but just has a convience store but over 100 spaces to park with 20 or less trucks nightly.

Lots of great food options which include Wendys and a good Golden Corral. Specifically for truck parking, lots of spaces, but come early. Also lots of blindside spots. 4 stars and not 5 because for Trucks entrance is confusing. Have to use a back road about 1/4 mile away to access lot.

They are selling red, white, & blue, shirts, hats, and many other items, flying the American flag at half mast, but the flag is badly faded and is shreded. Surely Pilot/FlyingJ can afford to fly the American flag properly.

Absolutely loved this place. I told my family that THIS is snack heaven! Everything you crave or need is all in one convenient spot. Very clean and the employees were friendly and courteous. Cant wait to go back!

If its after 5 pm, keep driving. Lots of solar powered drivers stop here for the Golden trough. The food is good, however, it can get impossible to even get to the truck wash, much less get back out

Restaurant and showers are completely CLOSED for remodeling as of 4/1/13. Really only came here to get a steak and shower. Was let down when I could do neither.

Food @ golden coral is great!!! personnel are super friendly and attentive. Ive stopped here three times this week. The parking does get very full at times.
