Punjabi Junction is in my humble opinion a truly hidden gem. This place is cozy during the day and you can sit outside if you like as they have outdoor seating. The buffet is a rotating selection of the best in Indian cuisine ranging from curry goat, curry chicken, chicken tikka, tandoori chicken served with basmati rice and fresh naan (bread). They even have non-meat vegetarian options for those who dont want meat. At night this place has a romantic ambiance and would be a great place to take a date out for the night. The service here is also great. I highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner. Dining in is just as good as the takeout and they even deliver. Guy Fieri (Diners, Drive-ins and Dives) when will you finally listen to me and come visit this wonderful establishment? I ask anyone who cares to write to join my campaign to get this restaurant in the Food Network show. I think they are certainly worthy.

Upon my previous experience and returning customer I ordered something that I had previously tried. Hoping to surprise my partner with some good food that ended up being the opposite. I picked up chicken malai tikka that is significantly expensive for the quantity they offer, but not a problem I will pay price for the quality. Ate one bite after taking it home, and decided to call management asking if the meat was undercooked or old, the manager/owner decided to tell me that he will check in the kitchen with the chef if its old and will give me discount and hung up on me. I really wasnt looking for a discount on my food, but being offered food for the night I wanted to have good food. Horrible!!!!

Food is good. Delivery through GrubHub has missing items consistently it seems. They try to make up for it but the third time it happened they came up short after telling me they will deliver the missing rice in 5 minutes. I had to rectify through GrubHub and then they called me for some reason I told them I rectified with GrubHub and told them my complaint they hung up the phone in the middle. Bad customer service which makes me contemplate buying from them again. Will not recommend them in the future as not worth he frustration if things are forgotten. I think the worst is getting hung up on while you are complaining. I hope the owner reads this and tains employees better.

All four in our party loved it. Flavors and spice level made to order. Had the Samosas and Pakoras to start: wonderful. Two curries ordered with different degrees of heat, goat and lamb, both perfect. Chicken Tikka Masalla was tender and succulent. We ordered the Daal Makhani to share as it is a dish we share at every Indian restaurant and can quickly indicate the degree of fresh herb seasoning used in preparation: it exceeded expectations. Service was attentive and punctual. Special requests were not a problem. We live in Herndon and had to drive by 7 other Indian restaurants to get to Punjabi Junction. It is worth the drive.

I went their for dinner with my family. The restaurant was a bit too far for us, but it was definitely worth it. The staff over there was so nice, pleasant and courteous. They kept making sure that we were enjoying our food and if we needed anything else. The restaurant itself was very clean. The food was delicious and fresh. The food was not very spicy and flavors were just right. It was very good Indian food we had in a while. Overall, great food, staff and prices. I would be going there back, and recommend others as well!

This place has excellent food. My favorite is the Karahi chicken and the Methi chicken. The Keema Naan with little pieces of lamb and other Indian spices in it is absolutely delicious. They even have a buffet which I have enjoyed a few times, but I prefer the takeout dishes since I only eat certain dishes. By far this is one of the best hidden gems in the area and I have tried without success to get Diners Drive-ins and Dives to come out to this place but so far I have not had any luck. I will keep trying.

This place used to be really good. The flavors have changed and there are too many chiefs and not enough indians. They are very nice people, but there is a unsophisticated type of arrogance to the way they display when serving people out of their culture, it is as if you are not Indian nor Paki, then you just do not know a damn thing about Indian food. The service there is still disorganized, even after being there for so many years. I am sad that I will not be returning. Really sad.

Went there on a Saturday for their lunch brunch. For $12.99 all you can eat brunch, I have to say, it is well worth it. The buffet spread isnt skimpy. The curry goat, butter chicken, chicken tikka, paneer, etc, all had their unique taste. Not like some buffet where every sauce tastes the same. The all you can eat brunch buffet comes with unlimited naan bread. The buffet also comes with two choices of drinks, mango shake and limeade.

There spicy levels are really spicy unlike other restaurants who on menu shows varied spice levels but serve the same bland hospital level spice. Do Try their samosa, they serve 2 pieces They serve Rice or thick Naan with every entree so order right portions. I didnt like their style of serving, not enough cutlery & cups were provided based on the type of food ordered, tissues are not placed on table & you need to ask.

The food was sub par. Service was horrible. Ambiance was alright. The weekend buffet was not good. Dried up meatless chicken tandoori, tasteless meethi chicken, blanc and flavor less goat meat. Butter chicken, not even close. Never bothered to offer additional Naan, which was served late to begin with. Save your money and spend it elsewhere.

Delicious food. I dont generally enjoy Indian food, but I love their lunch buffet. Im not a fan of spice, but the spice they add has good flavor and doesnt detract from the food. The price is very reasonable for a buffet and the service is good, they always check if you want more drinks. You should ask if you want more naan though.

The food was pretty good but I felt like I was being rushed out by the staff even though it was early and the restaurant was more than half empty. Our server came to clear dishes that I was still eating from and brought our check before my last bite. I will go back but I wont expect a leisurely, relaxing night there.

We went there this weekend, food was very Delicious. We went after 2 years and we were happily surprised about taste, and environment. Beware of slow service and small portions. Size is smaller then other Punjabi restaurant with similar cost. Overall good food, slow service, and smaller meal portions.

Despite having their gas lines down earlier today, they were able to have my order ready to go right on time! Great customer service. Ordering is made really easy through their website. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and malai kofta - both were excellent! Thanks again!
