We arrived earlier this morning at around 12pm and was very excited to try the buffet afrer seeing mostly positive reviews. After going we decided write a review on our experience. First we were going to give a one star rating but decided to give it an extra star for the staff. They were very nice and attentive and even helped us open the disgusting tasting crawfish. Staff 8/10 Food was utterly disgusting not worth 12 dollars a person. The sushi tasted bad and some had a creamy cheese that was almost impossible to consume. The cheesesteak tasted like/was covered in grease, a great dipiction of american cusine, but was absolutely horrible after a couple of bites. The bourboun chicken tasted like it was engulfed in aunt jemima syrup. Most of the seafood tasted like imitated fish and was really gross. Cocunut chicken should be at the desert bar since it was coated in sugary syrup with a hint of coconut, it tasted fine at first but after more than one bite it felt like my blood sugar rose significantly. The mussel was so gross and looked like coughed up phlegm and trying it made me throw it up into a napkins as was were most of my food ended up going. Overall the food was 1/10 because even after everything at least the noodles and rice tasted quite good. Next is dessert, the Chinese donut was very good and warm it actually gave us high hopes for the dessert section. Then came the pudding, such a cool delight after the warm donut. But then we tried a graham cracker pudding with on top was a whipped cream that had the consistency of cottage cheese it was absolutely horrendous dont let its looks deceive you it tasted so so sour. Then we tried the pineapple cake with old shriveled up pineapples on it needless to say it was too dry to eat it was so dry i had to drink large amounts of my water to sooth my burning dried up throat from this obscenity which i couldent because my water never once was refilled. After trying the fruit which was ok we tried the rice crispy treat with hopes it would save the experience for us however the bottem of it was moist and soggy far too discusting to touch or worse eat but we did and i regret it. The only other time we saw our waitress was when she gave us our bill and a fortune cookie which we opend and stuffed the fortune into a dried out crumbling flakey pastry for the resturant to have because they need a good fortune way more than we do. Overall dessert was 3/10 for donut fruit and pudding. The water however was the best part but unfortunately they didnt refill it. In conclusion this place is terrible, would not recommend. We left still hungry and unfulfilled.

Sooo good! I had a friend at work suggest we go and eat here for lunch so we did. The Hibachi food was sooo good!! The good: You go to the buffet where they have the uncooked meats and veggies. You fill up your plate and hand it to the cook who makes it fresh and delicious for you. There is also a regular buffet and Sushi if Hibachi grill is not your thing, with a huge selection of fresh eats cooked to perfection. If you go there on a weekday, I paid for three people to eat and it was only about $24. The bad: I had to get someone to show me the ropes about why there is raw food in the buffet next to the Hibachi grill, thats no big deal though. The cook running the Hibachi did a amazing job cooking my food and you get your choice of sauces. However I would have liked it if he was a bit more social able. I tried to be nice to him several times and thank him for doing a great job on my food, and he just ignored me like I was some "filthy american". I got the impression that maybe the guy wasnt so crazy about his job. That being said, the guy was an Latino, Asian mix, and its possible maybe who couldnt understand me or maybe its just a cultural thing so you have to take it with a grain of salt. Other than that a amazing dining experience! Im going to tell everyone I know about this place, and take all my friends and family here.

A lot of bad reviews for Hibachi here on google. Also on Facebook. I see why. This place made me sick. I threw up about an hour after eating here. Called the restaurant they said the manager wasnt there. I said someone needs to refund my money or something. They hung up. I drove back because they hung up when I called back a 2nd time. Upon driving back and confronting them they refunded my money. Pretty quickly too.... but not without the woman up front asking me an insulting question. *Why you come back here? You dont have a job? You dont have family to support?* That question served only 1 purpose. To make me upset. I told her my personal life was none of her business. She said * You dont have a family, or a job*. I said *how do you know if i have a job? Youve only met me once.* and walked out. I didnt even listen to anything else she had to say. My personal life is none of her business and she will never see my son there or my other family as long as i can help it. I plan on telling everyone about my experience and how they talk. I am sure they will always have their customers but they wont see me again. After the way they talked, I can see why people think about these people like they do.

Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet at Towne square has rude staff. I have been studying mandarin for 5 years, since 2011. I consider myself pretty good at speaking mandarin. I went here and no matter how much mandarin I spoke to the staff, they always spoke to me in english. They said "you only speak a little chinese." regardless of how good I was speaking to them. I dont just speak a little. I speak quite a lot. They asked me "Why does a black woman want to learn mandarin?" Which I found offensive.... My little brother likes chinese women and one of the managers said "Chinese women generally dont date black men".When my little bro asked why they said "Its a cultural thing" and ignored any other questions he had. I found the staff all around rude, especially the managers. I hope they know how rude and ignorant they sound. Its a shame, because I used to like the buffet here. Once you get talking to the staff though and seeing how they are, you feel really uncomfortable and you wont want to come back. My advice is come, eat... and just leave. Dont interact with them.

For the most part, the food is rather mediocre. The salad bar doesn’t feature many vegetables and the lettuce seemed to be soaking wet. However, they did offer crawfish, which I hadn’t seen at a buffet before. The crawfish were steamed but still quite salty/sandy - interesting to try but I don’t know if I’d recommend them. Also, I didn’t even try the sushi but I’ll go out on a limb and not recommend that either. Fortunately, it wasn’t all bad at the Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet. The miso soup was good and the hibachi grill offers the opportunity to have things cooked to order. I put together a plate of rice, egg, peppers, onions, snow peas, and shrimp that were then cooked in soy sauce. The chef didn’t quite cook my food all the way through but we won’t fret about the details. The highlight of the meal was the Chinese doughnut that we tried for dessert. I happened to be standing at the bar when the lady brought out a fresh batch of doughnuts and I grabbed the first one out of the pan. It was like a fresh, hot funnel cake and tasted delicious.
