Lets start with the facilities. You can tell the place was once really nice. It now could use a really good cleaning with bleach and a renovation. There is a beautiful koi pond upon entry, the buffet area was clean and well lit, the restrooms were presentable. We arrived around 8:45pm on a Sunday. Initially, we were seated in an overcrowded back room that felt a lot like a holding pin. It was small, hot, loud and dirty. The vinyl on the booths was sticky and peeling. Its a gross feeling. We then moved ourselves to a cleaner, nicer part of the restaurant and were told it was closed but were given another, less crowded seating area. Our waitress was very pleasant and non intrusive. The food was very good. I had Japanese chicken, broccoli, fried zucchini, and chicken dumplings. Nothing was overcooked, everything, including the sushi, was exoertly prepared and tasted fresh. I see why people love it. If it were cleaner and I had not initially been put in the small, crowded room, it would have been a great experience. I would give it an 7 and a half out of 10.

We have been here several times and it is always fantastic. The best buffet in Memphis for sure. However this last visit apparently someone at another table thought I took his picture. Which I didnt and had no reason or desire to. The waitress was talking to him in what I think was Chinese, then she kept walking past me. My wife said she was trying to see what I was doing with my phone. I was doing a Facebook check in, and commenting on the line to get in in the middle of the afternoon (about 3:45). This is a good buffet but I did not like being accused of something I didnt do. I had to open up my gallery and show her my last pics to finally get her to quit bothering me. There is a very good chance we wont be back.

The food and buffet is great, however, there is one waitress that has been there for years but we cannot understand why. She has shorter hair and glasses and is older than the other ones. She never smiles and is mean as hell. She also somehow ends up at the cashier every time one of her customers are paying. This is extremely unprofessional, she is obviously trying to intimidate you into tipping. No one else does this but her. We dread seeing her when we walk in and pray shes not our waitress. We always tip well, especially considering its a buffet. She makes us reconsider tipping here when we eat here.

This place does have good food . the one thing i dont like but some others do the same. When u eat there u can eat all u want but when u get it to go they give u a little box its got 3 compartments now really what u going to put in that and dont forget they little compartments they could atleast give u something to put ur bread in or what about ur dessert u got to put that in with ur food naw thats nasty RIGHT and get this they charge more when its to go thats crazy . lol u get less and pay more. To me restaurants like this should really only get a rating of 2 only if

The food is pretty good but the service is terrible. I couldnt even enjoy myself and take my time [it is a BUFFET after all] without the waitress staring at me and my friends and at one point she came up to us and said, "Excuse me, can you please pay? My whole section is closed." And then, when my friend was paying, she not only stood over him as he wrote down the tip, but questioned the tip and pushed for more. you are a buffet waitress, you hardly do anything. Not worth it for the food, and I hope that girl gets fired. Rude and unprofessional.

Over the years I used to look forward to the treat of eating at Grand Pacific. I love the variety and choice. Many of my favorites. Now the downside. I owned a restaurant and know the task of maintaining sanitary site. On 2 occasions I told management they were in violation by not having soap in bathroom. Today I found soap but the stalls were filthy. An employee was holding the ladys room door wide open in view of a hallway. Dont know if it is a breakdown in culture but they need to make improvements.

The food is really original. The food doesnt change at all. Sometimes i have noticed old food that was mixed in with the new ones. I got sick really badly after eating some of the food there once. The decorations were pretty plain and the lighting was decent, but it was hard at times to have a conversation due to the loudness of the place. If you are looking for a place for a business meeting i wouldnt suggest this restaurant also if you are looking for a place that changes their food a lot.

I havent found any other place in the country to offer all you can eat top notch sushi for under $9, amazingly delicious and what a great deal! Definitely tip the sushi chefs! On top of that you have a huge selection from their buffet as well all included in that price! Great family atmosphere and I will visit this place every time Im in town! Clean, well maintained restaurant. If I may suggest, please redo the exterior of the restaurant, it does the interior and food no justice!!

All I can say, if you are in the Bar-B-Q capital, this is one place you must stop and eat. It is real sad that I travel from Seattle,Washington and look forward to eating here and tasting Bar-B-Q. If you have been to the North West and had to eat, you know what card board taste like. You get real tired of cooking your own food every day, because you miss moms cooking and the food in Memphis. Will be back in the spring for more good eating and Southern Hospitality.

The buffet is filled with a wide selection and everything seems reasonably fresh. I have not found any of the food choices displeasing. The sushi bar has several selections that are pretty good. The sushi salad seems a bit lacking compared to what I have had at other places, but overall, not bad. The decor is what you would expect from the average Chinese buffet. The service has always been excellent and the staff always grateful to have your business.

The food was average not like I remember in the beginning when they first opened.. The bathrooms were a mess. Graffiti was everywhere and it was not clean at all and had a horrible smell. The staff came in while I was there but no one.alerted the staff that the restroom look that way. I guess by the way things looked, the bathroom has looked this way for quite some time. I will not return as a customer in the future

Only giving one star because I had to to be able comment. Bar was disgusting food mixed together, all over the place, waitress couldnt speak English only came to table to deliver drinks and ticket, at checkout was asked if ok, said no, was disgusting. Parking lot should have been a sign, its nasty, which the clerk said it wasnt her fault or problem. $50 spent, headed to pop eyes now to get real food.
