Well im a regular and my favorite waitress wasnt on tonight well im rating it 4 stars because of the food but new little blonde girl wasnt worth a damn i sit for 7 mins without her asking me what i wanted to drink my gf had to get the silverwear she also talked to her friends 20 mins before asking us if we wanted anything to eat again she didnt even give us straws we had to ask for them i bet you ive never left a restaurant without tipping until today and depending on service i usually tip pretty well not today sorry other then that it was rather ok

Country Cookin has always been one of my favorite places to eat. My recent visit to this location was completely satisfying. The food, as usual, was well prepared (my wife and I both had the Wrangler steak, very good), the wait staff was on the ball and courteous, and the restaurant was clean. Love the pinto beans, the mac & cheese and the cornbread, especially. The only question I have is when are you going to have a store in Martinsville again? We really want one!

Serving sizes are definitely smaller than they used to be, but OK food. Cost us over $50 to eat for 4 people so not cheap. But, as far as I know, theyre one of the last places in Roanoke you can take your kids to eat without a table full of people guzzling beer... e.g. chuck e cheese "where a kid can be a kid" and mom and dad can drink a pitcher of beer.....so thumbs up Country Cooking!

We raised our children eating at Country Cooking twice a week. In town for a visit and we had to go by. It is the same as always. Just good eating. The desserts like rice pudding and peach cobbler today with some soft serve icecream on top.... Mmmmm good. This will always be out go to when visiting family in Roanoke.

The food is really good here. The reason I give this place a 3-star rating is because the bathroom facilities are totally inadequate. They only have one stop and one urinal. When you have a dining room as they do you should have better accommodation.

They have an all you can eat breakfast bar with an omelette station. The food is pretty darned good and the price is hard to beat $7.99 and $4.50 for kids plus drinks. The sausage gravy needs some work bit everything else was great.

We like to go here on the weekends. You usually get seated fairly quickly and the buffet is great. They have a nice selection of all kinds of good food. I never had a bad meal here.
