The food was lousy, I had what they called chicken fried steak and scrambled eggs with hash browns and toast. The first chicken fried steak that they sent out was so overcooked that it was almost black and it crumbled, the second one was at least not to overcooked but it was a premade steak that they just dropped into the deep fryer to cook and the eggs were so overcooked that they were rubbery. The only reason Im giving Kings a 2 star rating is because of the waitress. She gets 3 stars but because of just how bad the food was it drops the overall rating to a 2.

The obvious strugglicious contents of the meal make it very unattractive. The plates were hot but full of room temp food and nothing was hot. How? The tasteless pancakes, weird syrup, greasy foamy bacon, prison style chain gang eggs with the lazily placed cheese slices that looked like they were thrown on from across the room and the "famous" cheesy hash browns that were over cooked into a protein scoop with the consistency of fermented water chestnuts. I didnt enjoy putting this into my body.

So it was good about a month ago. Then I come back and it is dirty tables, seats & the bar 3 different times and my steak was bloody each time even after they brought it back to cook it more. I gave them 3 chances. I will go hungry sorry Ive eaten all over this country, cheap to expensive, franchises and mom n pop stops. I am very dissapointed from every aspect.

The failing Kings restaurant ran out of O.J! Sloppy food! Waitress was a hideous and phony, a really nasty woman, she was bleeding badly from a face lift, I said no, flat Chested, very hard to be a ten! They didnt have anything! No Chicken Noodle? Horrid! No philly cheese? Cheddar Jack on grilled cheese?

Food was obviously not fresh made - canned, frozen, etc. Server tried to pass the food off as just "not seasoned because someone might be allergic". The place was almost empty and our meal took over 2 hours, and we sat without refills several times. Wont be going back.

I am an unfortunate trucker who came across this place. Was treated like dirt and the bill thrown at me as well as being denied to finish my drink upon finishing my meal. Rude staff and horrible management. Truckers avoid this place like the plague or a lot lizard

Ive have ate here two times, both times my food was good and the staff treatment was good. Im a truck driver and they know it. I wasnt treated any different than other people in here. If I am ever back in this area again, I will stop here to eat again.

They sell mostly frozen food, not fresh made. Dinner was not good and breakfast was not prepared properly. Others had mistakes at every table. Service was with a smile though. Not worth the price at all, inexpensive yes, good not at all.

We stopped for gas and saw Kings across the street and went there for lunch. The food was good and quick. The waitress was friendly, helpful and even suggested a drink for the road. I would highly recommend this place.

Awesome. Friend and I stayed the night across the street and just had the best dinner either of us have had in a long time at Kings Restaurant. We will most likely be back tomorrow for lunch and dinner! Good prices, too.

Im a truck driver for Shaffer. There service made me feel like I was home and the soup was outrageous. I dont get a chance to stop here but I will from now on. Tortilla soup is to die for.
