Service at this place was great, the server was attentive and very friendly. My boyfriend and I ordered an appetizer of hushpuppies, the pulled pork sandwich w/ french fries, and the smoked sampler platter w/ mashed potatoes and baked beans. The hushpuppies had a crisp outside and the inside was moist. The house-made honey butter was sweet and went well with the hushpuppies. The pulled pork sandwich was smoky and paired well with various provided sauces on a tasty bun and the French fries were crispy and salted well. The sampler platter was a good option to try different meats with the sauces on the table. The beef brisket was not dry and the pulled pork, chicken, and chicken wings were tender. The brisket and pork did not have much flavor to them so using a sauce on them is necessary for a better taste.

Great neighboorhood BBQ joint. Not a huge dining area so if you have a party larger than 6 you might be a bit squished. They were out of ribs on our visit which was kind of a bummer because I was going to try them. I ended up getting the sampler which was very good. Brisket was tender and the chicken was flavorful and not dry. Pork was above average but not the best Ive had. My hubs said his burger was a little dry (Olde Virginia) but he liked the pork and onion rings on it. Didnt try dessert or any bar drinks. Maybe next time, because well be back!!!

Food is great but the service is completely lacking. Went there tonight ordered NON-alcoholic drinks and the server proceeded to tell me they werent serving food anymore after she brought the drinks. It was only 9:30PM and arent supposed to close until midnight. The servers are usually bad when I go like they have no social experience, but I usually go for the food. After tonight I will never be going back! I recommend you only go if youre getting take-out.

I wish I didnt have to give it any stars . The ribs were awfully seasoned and cooked . The mac and cheese lacked flavor , like not even salt and pepper and tasted of warmed milk or butter . The green beans were the WORST vegetable Ive ever tasted in my life ! It tasted like they cooked them in the fluids put into the can to preserve them . I couldnt even swallow them . To top it off this meal for two cost 50$ . Worst WASTE OF MY MONEY !

Awesome food for a Bar. We went there as a family with my young boys not knowing this. I would put the food up with any restaurants in town. Great food. They do have a kids meal but the portion is that of an adult. The adults size is enough for lunch at work tomorrow as well. Awesome food, great price, great service, and great people. Not a place to go as a family though. Order take out and go to the park or something like that.

We just came back from trying Twisted Pig for the first time and we were not disappointed. We had the Black and Bleu Burger and the Smoked Sampler Platter. The food is delicious! Even the fries were great, but you cant leave before trying their flourless chocolate cake. Amazing!! The service is outstanding, especially our server, Stephanie. We will be back!

To start they were out out of bbq not good start! So i decided to try the wings and brunswick stew with ham biscuits bad choice wings were cold and biscuits were hard as a brick and ham was real skimp and chewy the brunswick stew was ok had better will not be going back!

First time ever going, and we went before 3 when they still have brunch. I love the mimosas that you make yourself, that was really fun. And I can not say enough about the food. Such a wonderful time spent there. Will definitely go again.

Sunday brunch Bloody Mary bar is phenomenal. You can choose from 4-5 top shelf vodkas and over 30+ ingredients. $8 for the first and $6 for refills. Its like a meal and a drink all in one. But the brunch menu is great too. Must try. 11-3pm

Fantastic atmosphere and even better staff. Great beer selection and the drinks are priced just right. Food can be a little hit or miss. Personally I would stay away from the brisket but the pork BBQ and the smoked BBQ chicken are fantastic.

Very relaxing environment, food is always delicious and cooked to my preference. Background music is just set to where you can carry on a conversation and I enjoy listening to the blues. Host, bar tenders and servers very friendly.

Amazing people. Not a smoking bar anymore, I bought e-cigarettes for going there. You can smoke outside. Lots of huge TVs for watching the games!! Food is Amazing!! Great place to go and feel welcomed by everyone

Best BBQ Ive had since I lived in Kansas City. Try the sampler and the crab cakes. To die for! Owner was very welcoming and the service was great! I highly recommend it!

Food is great and the drinks are cheap. Great place for lunch. Its very small so once the bar scene starts not many tables left. Go early if you want to focus on eating.
