Moved to the Hampton area and was looking for a Chinese delivery place one night for dinner. I work 2 jobs and had a couple hours between jobs. My husband placed our order 30 minutes before I got off from my first job, expecting it to either be there when I got home or soon after. 30 minutes minutes before I had to leave for work I called and they said "the delivery man was leaving the store with it now", mind you we live right around the corner, 3-5 minutes away. 20 minutes later, still no food so we called back again. We were then told they were just finishing up our order and it would be there soon. I proceeded to explain that we had been waiting more then 2 hours for our food and the owner then got sassy with me saying "no, youve only been waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes". Haha "only"... so that not only tells me that they didnt process our order right away and they have sense of urgency. I then had a few choice words to say as they owner tried to "father" me and told me, "go to the bathroom right now and wash my mouth out with soap, you are no kind of Lady speaking to a man that way". I was livid, the food finally got to our door as I was walking. My husband signed for it and I inhaled cold, tastless eggs rolls as I drove to work and had to save my bland fried rice for when I got home. I highly recommend you NOT do business with the place!!

Spent over $100 on food for delivery... told it would take an hour (which seemed fair- were only a couple miles away, but thats a lot of food), when it got here they hadnt sent any rice. We called to ask for the rice, and person answering the phone was very argumentative instead of trying to fix the problem (its just RICE, it s not like we claimed we were missing lobster! But rice is an important part of the meal!) Finally after 45 minutes we got 2 little containers of rice. I called back. Once again, instead of trying to fix the problem much more arguing, to the point of trying to tell me Id received 2 quarts, and I was only owed 2 quarts and a pint, and could I read the bottom of the rice container to verify how much I received? (At this point they were arguing about $2.50 of rice) They admitted we didnt get all the rice we should have, yet were completely unapologetic. I kept getting put on hold, the entire time I could hear employees arguing about how much we got, they sounded angry, nasty, and completely disinterested taking care of me as a customer even though the restaurant had screwed up twice. The best they could offer me to fix the problem was next time I came in maybe I could get extra rice. The food is good, but not worth dealing with bad customer service and horrible, unpleasant attitudes.

The menu ad says "No MSG" and that is not true. I am extremely allergic to MSG and am having a horrible reaction to the food I ate that supposedly did not contain MSG. I called to complain to the restaurant and was told that I had to return the uneaten portions of food for a refund and that refund was only for the uneaten portions. If I had know that the food contained MSG I would not have eaten any of it and I deserve all of my money back. If you have an allergy to MSG they are liars and I dont recommend ordering their food. The stir fried vegetables and tofu consist of uncooked tofu with peas and carrots which is the worst version of szechuan tofu I have ever seen They charged my card without me being there and now I have to return the uneaten food and give them my credit card in person to receive my refund. The whole point of ordering food for delivery was so that I didnt have to drive especially with the ice on the roads. This was my first and last experience with MisFortune Chinese

I had ordered 40.00 in chinese from this establishment on april 5, 2010. Paid using a navy federal debit card. After the food was delivered my family sat down to eat it, and the food was awful. It was 2130 at night, and I had to be on the ship early the next morning. When I had got off work I went to the resteraunt for a refund. I brought back all the uneaten food. The owner told me that I was a liar and that they have been open for 17 years, and I dont know good chinese food. She attempted to do nothing to rectify the situation. She then proceded to kick me out of the store.

This is a small restaurant - no more than fifteen tables. When we went in, someone was trimming beans on one of the tables. I loved that I saw fresh veggies! The waiter (and other guy - trimming beans) were both very friendly. The food was good. The only thing I didnt like was that the waiter was not very knowledgable about the menu; we asked a few questions, and I did not get any clear responses. Otherwise, it was great. I also like that it is in the Willow Oaks shopping area, so you can stop by when headed to the library or picking up groceries.

Pretty good food here. Been here a couple times. Def not the best on the peninsula in my opinion but a solid contender. Had their Korean combo an was impressed with the main course. The fried rice and side salad was a little disappointing though. rice was a bit bland and salad consisted of a bit of cut up lettuce and some ginger dressing. But both main all the main dishes I have had here so fare have been really good. Spring garden in Yorktown is still the champ in the area in my opinion. They have me spoiled.

The lady on the phone was taking my husbands order and she was talking way too fast , she took our credit card number then called us back saying our card was invalid throughout the whole time I was giving her my card again she was making real smart assy comments after my card finally went through because she didnt copy it down right the first time she just hangs up after wards without saying a word horrible customer service will never order from there again

Worst Ever! If I could have given it 0 stars I would have. I ordered garlic string beans. I dont know what I received but it wasnt garlic string beans. On top of that the old lady that is at the front desk is not customer-centric. I almost to posit to say that she has this elitist attitude. Does she know that the yuppies are dead now and so is that period? That attitude does not work in business and I will never eat here again.

I have been ordering from here for years. The last few times I have ordered there I have been greatly disappointed.This evening is the reason I will no longer order from this establishment. I order dinner at 4:27pm and it is now 6:38 and the food that I was promised was on the way 45min ago. The owners also take the tips the driver receive. I can. It support an establishment that treats it customers and employees in this manner.
