In February, I cross a huge milestone in my life! To celebrate this huge deal, I went out with a small group of mines to Boomerangs! Ive live in this county since childhood and never once ate at this beautiful place. My good friend/co-worker with her daughter and boyfriend came with me to celebrate this special day with me! It was a chilling morning but it was worth going out in the cold! Once I walked into the building, the building took my breath away! Everything was bright and beautiful including a lovely wide screen tv! I had a nice juicy Steak well done with the creamiest macaroni and cheese that I have ever had up to date with a side of fried sweet potatoes! My spirit was singing with joy and my tummy was forever grateful!!! This place is worth spending your hard earn money!!!

My wife and I had stopped here for the first time two weeks ago, for a bite and a drink, and everything was great. However, last week we stopped by again for a drink and the staff couldnt be less accommodating. The bartender was visibly annoyed that we even came in (a little too into the keno). After waiting at the bar for a period of time (we were the only customers in the bar area), we finally ordered drinks and we were told they were out of limes. After which the bartender lazily put our drinks together and went back to her keno. Its really unfortunate that in a smaller town, like Solomons, you dont get a more personable experience. Especially since we had a great experience the week before.

Six Oclock on a Friday evening. Ordered their signature dish-1/2 rack of Ribs: dry (overcooked-stayed in the oven too long) but slathered with a very good BBQ sauce. No Smoke flavor. The two sides I ordered; Coleslaw was not good (one star), potato salad was as bad as the Coleslaw, the potato chunks were too big with zero flavor (did not finish either side). The grilled chicken cranberry-pecan salad was without flavor and simply bland. Service was fair, starting to get busy when we left, server checked on us at the end of the meal and asked if we wanted a carry out box). Had high hopes for a place where the locals call it the best BBQ around.

The service was excellent! Valerie was attentive and patient, and I hope we are lucky enough to have her as our server again. Between the 4 of us we tried crab cakes, ribs, chicken wings, pulled pork, onion rings, fries, hushpuppies and the generous, fresh, house salad. Crab cake had plenty of crab meat, ribs were tender and juicy, and it was fun trying the sauces. The pulled pork was just right and not dripping with sauce, so sauce could be added without the kaiser roll getting mushy. Everyone loved the hushpuppies with honey butter. All the food was good! My family has been there numerous times since it was highly recommended by other friends. We have never had a bad experience in the dining room. I am surprised at some of these reviews. The food has always been good and hot, the service has always been friendly. The surroundings have always been clean. They even won for the best cream of crab in The Taste of St. Marys. The only negative I will have to agree with, was when we did go to the bar to play keno, the experience was not so nice, long wait, being ignored, and attitude, as if we were an inconvenience.

I usually rave about this place but last week I had a less than stellar visit. The place was relatively empty and as we were seated, there seemed to be some confusion over who our server would be. We ordered beverages and waited. My iced tea tasted like coffee. When our server eventually returned, I informed her of this. She said that another customer made the same comment earlier. If a customer says the iced tea tastes funny, someone should check it out. This set the mood for the rest of my meal. The food was good but this was not my best visit.

Boomerangs is great!!! Love this place. Never had a bad experience. Food is phenomenal, the ribs and wings are so good. The bartender, Holly, is outstanding. Shes taken care of me the last few times Ive been in be it sitting at the bar or ordering carryout and she is the best! This place is one of only a few places in Calvert or St. Marys that I can say I truly love to go to because I always know the food, drinks, and service will be great. HIGHLY recommend!!

Wanted to try Boomerangs as I have never been, however I was extremely disappointed. The place is quite dirty, musky, and old. I can deal with the "hole in the wall" environment, but I expect good service and good food- both of which were non existent. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food, it actually came out cold. And when I say cold, I mean room temperature. The beef. The mashed potatoes. The fries. This place is a joke. Definitely avoid.

We ate at Boomerangs for the 1st time tonight. What AMAZING service we had!!! Greeted right away. Was asked if we wanted to place our daughters order early, wish all places did this. Food was delicious!!! Cole slaw and potato salad tasted like it was homemade. We had ribs, shrimp, crab cake, pulled pork burger, crabby fries. Everything was fantastic. Cant wait to go back again!!! Thank you Boomerangs.

This place is awesome!!! The ribs are amazing, the best I have ever had!!! Ate dinner, lunch and was never disappointed! And if you love desert, you have to try the bread pudding its to die for. Our waitress Stephenie, was awesome never had to wait she was on her game!!! I am planning to drive back from NC just for dinner its that good!

On top of being expensive, there was almost no meat on the ribs. The blooming onion had no flavor. The restaurant lacked atmosphere and mood. The wings were not bad, but may have been better if I were drunk. I would say if you are going to have ribs in your name you better have good ribs.

90% of the time I get their ribs with the house BBQ sauce and they have always been fall of the bone, melt in ur mouth quality ribs. The few times I didnt get the ribs I tried their pulled pork sandwich, and it was a real good sandwich with a lot of pork and the bun was good too.

Incredible thai burger and crab soup. This place doesnt look like much from the outside but dont let it fool you. They really dont cut any corners on any entrée. Ive eaten there three times as an out of town traveler and each time has been better than the last.

I recently went there for dinner. The ribs are very good. Homemade bbq sauce, they taste better than outbacks ribs. And you have to try their potato salad, made with large red potatoes! Delic, I will be going back for the ribs and homemade potato salad!

Kind of a hole in the wall small dark place and its freezing inside during the winter. The food is super awesome though and more than makes up for the ambiance. The mephis dry rub ribs are my fav!! The crab dip fries are also amazing! The service is ok.

The food was the bomb full rack of ribs with tenese bbq sauce with the dry rub was mouth watering this is the place to be when your in the mood for bbq or seafood and very resonable prices for the portions you will love it
