Si Puo Mangiare molto bene. Harrisonburg is so lucky to have a true Italian Trattoria. . Off 81, take 247A, Agrodolce is hidden in a small shopping center with PetSmart. ..."Market Square" After walking through the doors you will be transformed into Italy. From the fresh pasta made while you watch through the window or at the pizza bar, the authentic decor...the doors and windows from Italy are beautiful, and the prize jewel...an Italian wood burning oven to make all the Italian favorites. I was a little skeptical about having so many Italian wines by the glass, until l found out they have a dispensing wine bar the preserves open wine for up to two weeks...they thought of everything....and the wine is very reasonable price. The fresh burrata was amazing, the pizza perfect and my daughters pasta was incredible. Fresh is the key to great Italian cooking and Agrodolce will not disappoint. My husband and I have been to Italy many times and have not found anything close to the feeling and taste of Italy until till now. We found Agrodolce off 81 on our way home from vacation, it is an 1.5 hours from home....can not wait until we are close to Harrisonburg again....we will surely make the trip. Even though it doesnt look like much on the outside, its very nice inside. Theres also a window where you can see them making fresh noodles from scratch. Everyone was very helpful and nice, regardless of who you spoke to. Our server was Frederico and he was excellent, attentive, and full of good conversation. The food was fresh and excellent, especially my cappellini carbonara with shrimp. From pouring our breads olive oil, adding fresh ground pepper, to helping my father choose bottles of wine, the experience was phenomenal. I will return.

Great authentic Italian food. Love how they make the pasta fresh each day and the pizza is so good. The only other place Ive ever had fresh made pasta was in Key West, so I was so excited when I found out the owner would have fresh pasta. The only thing you need to add, like in Key West, is rosemary bread. *hint hint*. ;-) However the fresh garlic bread is amazing as well. We will be back in again this week to bring my in-laws to try it out.

Pleasantly surprised to find a family owned Italian restaurant in the middle of a shopping center filled with chain restaurants. Ate here on our way through town. Excellent and friendly wait staff, very good food, and an all together enjoyable dinner! We especially enjoyed the eggplant parmesan which came with a complimentary canoli for dessert! Would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

Sadly, the dough is like rubber, stromboli was burnt, the $10 tortolini was child sized. Filled less than half of the bowl served on. Ceasar salad had no flavor but lots of dressing. The server was nice. The atmosphere where we were seated was terrible and not comfortable. the place was practically empty but we were seated next to two tables of drinkers and they were loud.

Our office was fortunate enough to have Agrodolce cater a lunch for about 100. Having been involved with a lot of large catered gatherings, I expected plain Jane catered food. Much to my surprise it was one of the best catered meals I have experienced. Tasty hot and delicious. Who needs olive garden when we have Agrodolce! Well done

This is the restaurant me and my boyfriend go out on dates to. I love it! The food and service is amazing. It is more of a fancy setting but dont be ashamed to wear jeans and a blouse. Its also about as expensive as Buffalo Wild Wings, if not less. It definitely doesnt break the bank and you get more for your buck.

Great place to grab dinner with your family. Took my children there and had a great time. The waiter ( Spencer i believe) was so nice and friendly ...the food was great, pasta was delicious and fresh. The Margharita pizza its DELICIOUS and the tiramisu its great. Very pleased, will be back for sure.

I have particularly enjoyed their shrimp appetizer. It is fresh, grilled shrimp and scallops served on a bed of fresh tomatoes cut up with garlic, olive oil ad other Italian flavors. It is an excellent light meal. Their desserts, particularly the canal, are also highly recommended.

Tortellini Alfredo is amazing. Best Alfredo sauce Ive ever had. Dont be in a rush, plan to spend some time and enjoy the freshly prepared food. This is not a quick lunch stop. Tiramisu is a,must have if you love coffee.
