OK sushi. Cooked food is passable for American standards. Ive had better street food in Japan. But this is the only option in Great Falls so I often find myself coming here.... on to the review. Could the service been any more terrible? The waitstaff make it seem like were there to serve them and make themselves feel good. I mean, rolling eyes when you ask for water more than once? Asked for extra napkins and they were literally tossed on the table! They forgot my sushi order (there were 6 people eating) and they never apologized or took the change off the bill like any other normal restaurant would do. I only tipped 15% ( really I didnt want to tip at all) and the waitress looked at my signed charge slip and laughed. Horrible servers, passable food.

Their food is actually really good but Theyre so rude. Since I live in great falls theres arent any sushi options so I usually try to take the food to go. Ive had eye rolls, lip smacking, and serious attitude. It became a common thing for me and my friends to talk about Izumi horror stories whenever we eat there. I guess they add their tip to the bill (???) which I guess makes it easier to pay, but I was short ten cents from the tip, which isnt very significant. They chased me out of the store for ten cents from the tip. The tip. If youre short tempered, dont eat here.

Food was passable but the service and staff was horrific. Despite the fact that we continued ordering drinks and food that amounted to over $140 over a 1 1/2 hour period the waitress (or hostess/owner) very obviously were annoyed that we were did not rush through our meal and make way for other guests. We did not linger without refilling drinks and ordering additional dishes. We have no intention of ever returning and will no longer order carry out from there.

It is unfortunate, because the food is delicious. However, the customer service is subpar. We tried to place an order at 2:40 for pick up, and they said they were closed...even though they close at 3. They then said we could come dine-in but the sushi bar is closed so they would be unable to serve us food. To top it off, one waitress called my boyfriend and myself ugly when we were tan from the beach. Horrible service.

Food here is consistently very good to great! Now, they have service to match. Whatever was the problem before, they listened and its no longer an issue. Id rather eat here than many of the others with long standing reputations. My new go-to Asian restarant.

Their "Chilean sea bass," is not Chilean sea bass. The miso sauce is alllll over the dish so get it on the side if you want fake Chilean sea bass anyway. Their garden roll without rice comes with white lettuce.

Our new favorite place for sushi! Good service great selection - artists on the sushi and sashimi! Even the appetizers are wonderful and fresh. Offered a free up front chefs creation! Very high class.
