I stopped by on a drive between PA and VA. Took a chance on their fried oyster sandwich and I am so glad I did - a half dozen perfectly battered and fried oysters piled onto a potato bun with pickles and sauce on the side. It was fantastic. The crab soup, while a bit light on the crab, was delicious and sprinkled with Old Bay Sauce. The place is less than 5 minutes from the highway and so much better than any chain. I would definitely go back again.

Excellent food and great service. Crab cakes were just that, crab cakes, no filler, no heavy seasoning, just lumps of crab meat. Pecan caramel cheese pie was outstanding. Homemade pickled eggs and beets like mom makes. Well worth the stop.

Was refused service after presenting a valid drivers license. Im in my thirties. Very rude. There are much better places to go in Emmittsburg. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!
