Not terrible, but not the best either. Soup is good, but the portions are not generous. Better than pho 81 on frederick ave with the snotty kids working there who charge for 1 extra basil stem with a couple leaves on it and about a dozen water sprouts, but also not as good as the Pho on Shady Grove in Gaithersburg, by far the most generous I found in the area with a super owner ho goes out of his way to make sure youre satisfied. So, between three, pho house here gets the #2 slot but very close to tie for #3 because of the skimpy portion sizes and need to find a 2nd to put in place. You will leave pho house hungry if you only order a large bowl of soup. Did indeed go back there today (11Sept2017), and it was much better than last time. Did not leave there hungry after feeding face with just a large bowl of #15 this time. Staff was very attentive and works hard, with no bad attitude. Of course I left a generous tip, was deserved. Thank you, Sir/Maam. Went again today 20Sept2017, unfortunately, was like the first time, skimpy on the noodles and meat. Am thinking someone is putting different amounts in the bowls, last visit I had satisfactory portion, this time, like the first, left hungry.

They should probably spend less time decorating the place and make sure the pho actually tastes good. The broth was almost flavorless, and the meat was rather bland as well. I expect the familiar robust beef flavor when I get a bowl of pho, so I was disappointed. The fact that I saw no vietnamese employees working may have something to do with it. Not to mention a bowl of pho here is about a dollar more than average. One plus is that they do offer hard to find vietnamese subs, but I did not try those.

Always friendly staff. The Family that owns and cooks and wait on tables very friendly and attentive. Other staff waitress from El Salvador are always smiling and give the quickest service when very busy. I love the PHO its the best anywhere the ice coffee is delicious as well. Bathroom very clean. Ive had the sandwich with egg and it too was excellent. I eat there as much as I can. I have been there everyday before I was busy working. On my way now!!! Lewis Sala

Every visit, such a bad service. They sat me and my 1 yr old at a table. Doesnt ask if I needed a high chair. Put the menu at the table and walked away. We waited about 10 minutes (with my 1 yr old on my lap). No one came to take order or bring a high chair, this happens every time. I have to flag them down with my son. I will not be visiting here again. There are plenty of good pho restaurants around Germantown and Gaithersburg.

New lady that owns this place cooks everything herself. The Pho is one of the best Pho around and Pho is so hard to please everyone as everyone has different expectations. If reviews are older than 10 months..I think that was a different restaurant than now. If you gonna bash atleast have the respect to a mom & pop owner to discribe the circumstance.

The hours says open at 10 am. Went in there at 10:05 and they told me theyre not open yet, mind you the door was open. I asked them the sign says open at 10 am? They said not today, were cleaning the restaurant. Come back in 45 minutes. Shouldnt you guys have come 45 minutes earlier to clean up? Just saying...

Impressive house specials, quality meat and good portion size, very good flavor. I have a tried their S1, S2 and S4, love the S2 most. S4 might be a little blander than expected to go with the bread. But S2 stands out because of how rare it is. I have gone back for their specials multiple times.

I have been here twice and two times it has been great. The service was good, food was good, and the Bánh mì is awesome. I always pick up 6 subs to go, you finish them so quick because they are that good. :D Plus their lemonade is freshly squeezed, not like out of the box. So that is a plus! :)

Worst customer services. I was waiting to get my order taking because the two spainsh ladies were chat it up as if I was there. Than when I asked if they can help me they laughed. When I asked for the manager they told me no manager was on site. Smh I will not be going back

The place is clean including the restroom. The food is alright, ordered the pho soup and the broth was flavour good the balance of pho species great. However, the roll was messed and felt like somebody made it in hurry and bite a chunkchunk of Thai basil with stems.

Id love to rate the food, but they closed early! Their hours say theyre open until 9PM. I raced there on my last night in town and arrived at 8:44 to find a surly slightly grubby man locking the door and walking away just as we walked up. Super disappointed.

The Pho House is a great little neighborhood restaurant that we love. The Pho is very good and the atmosphere is comfortable and clean. My favorite order is a number 17 small with an ice coffee. Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Awesome crispy rolls! You have to try them! Mango bubble tea is soo good and of course pho is great! Place is always clean but they really need new chair, those chair sink in when you sit. Overall its a great place to eat!

This place has the best pho broth in Germantown. I tried a couple of their other dishes, It just doesnt compare to the pho. The spring rolls are also good for apps. Its my go to place when Im in Germantown .

I found hair wrapped around what looked like a piece of fat in my #6 pho, which supposedly shouldnt have had any fat. And needless to say, no hair either...Sorry, I was really disgusted.
