My first (& only so far) visit here was pleasant and enjoyable. The atmosphere is soft and relaxing. Perfect for a quick bite before a busy day, or for a long meal enjoying a book. I ordered the yogurt and fruit parfait. The staff was kind enough to honor my request that the parfait be prepared in separate bowls (I dont like my food touching). The yogurt parfait came with fresh strawberries and blueberries and lightly sweetened granola. I ordered an iced coffee. Upon finding they dont offer glass cups for iced coffee, I asked if I could use a personal mug (reduce plastic waste). They were once again kind enough to oblige me. Their coffee bar offers a nice selection to prepare your coffee. They have 4 different flavours of coffee available, and nutmeg, cinnamon, cocoa, and vanilla, in addition to sugar, to flavor your coffee. The iced coffee has a great flavor (much better than Starbucks and other dime-a-dozen coffee shops). Another thing I noticed was how friendly and considerate the staff is. The young lady who brought me my food was very kind and asked if I need anything else before leaving. Ive been similar places where after bringing you your food, the staff is eager to get away. The gentleman who cleared my dishes again asked if I needed anything, and wished me a (genuine) good day before departing. (TL;DR) Overall, friendly staff, delicious food, great coffee, and a wonderful visit. 10/10 would recommend and stop here again.

The food runners are so kind, the guys that clean up the tables are meticulous, and most of the staff is fantastic - always friendly, always attentive. The manager, Julia, however is not customer-friendly in any way, and tries her hardest to make it a not-so-pleasant experience whenever we come by to eat. When ordering, we sometimes make special (small) requests for my kids, and she makes every effort and excuse to not accommodate my requests. Not sure why. These are requests that do not cost her or Corner Bakery an extra penny and absolutely nothing that puts her or the staff out. She seems to get enjoyment out of making excuses as to why she cannot accommodate our requests. How she got promoted to management is beyond me.

I got a Panini from this place and I am pleased to say it was very good! I also got the Hibiscus Lemonade which was excellent but I have been there twice now and both times I had to wait about 20 mins or longer, I compare this to Panera which usually has your food ready in about 5-15 mins in my area depending on the order size and wait time. I went there during a pretty empty time there were about 5 other people at the store all of which had already been served. But all in all would go back again!

Really disappointed!!!!! Always loved the corner bakery, one of my favorites. My last visit was a carry out and when I got home order was totally wrong. Ok, still love the corner bakery, going to try again. Today, I ordered my favorite salad, couldnt wait to get home to dig in....Wrong again, a salad I would never order...$9.00 plus salad in the trash.

We were very disappointed. I got the cuban press, and my pulled pork was tasteless and tough. My boyfriend got the steak and cheese, and it was clearly microwaved. They didnt even provide au jus. From the past I can recommend the bakery items, but go to a real local deli for sandwiches.
