This place looks run down from outside and once inside it doesnt change much. Half the floor space was taken up with old, discarded grill/tables. The menu is adequate and buffet is only available at lunch time. Beer selection is not extensive and the beer I got was out of date. Prices are reasonable though and food is good. The two times I went there, there was only one or two other diners there. This struck me as strange as there are four motels virtually surrounding this place. Staff is friendly, if not very flexible. I think a little sprucing up and advertising with local motels, would do alot to increase business. Hard to see how theyve kept going this long. Not an overwhelming experience, but an experience nontheless.

By far, my favorite Chinese place in town. Should be up there with Bodos and Spudnuts as a Cville staple. Down a side street off 29 by Aberdeen Barn, it looks a little ghetto on the outside, but inside is nice, with a very friendly family hosting you. The spicy dishes are the best and not too hot, unless thats what you want. Best rice ever. The rainbow chicken dish deserves special mention and is very unique. My only word of caution is that they have a small staff and are usually poorly prepared for large crowds, say on Prom night or New Years...but this is rare. Just get takeout if this is the case. One of a kind and awesome.

The customer service was awful. Our company ordered about 32.00 worth of food and we added tip tothe order for the driver, He walked out and then came back in stating that the tip money was not enough. I attempted to call the restuarant and talk to the manager she was also very rude she started yelling at me on the phone and i felt like as an Owner or Manager. if your delivery driver is asking for extra money after receiving a 6.00 tip is ridiculous. and if the Manager is no listening to the customers feed back then i would not eat there anymore. we did not receive any sauces or anything for Our food. i will never eat there again.

This is by far my favorite Chinese food restaurant in town. The service is unparalleled, and the family that owns it gives me a warm welcome every time. The food is very generous for the price and extraordinarily delicious, and they have some of the best General Tsos Chicken in town. It is always bright and welcoming on the inside, but never too crowded with people, which is always a plus. The decor is elegant, and very reminiscent of the Americanized Chinese food restaurants, yet still with that family run feel. I recommend it to everyone.

Its a very small but quaint little Chinese buffet with two tables that offer a very limited but satisfying selection of lunch buffet items. Their Hot and Sour soup is very good with a nice addition of some egg drop. The main course items are sufficient and filling, and a fried won ton and egg roll are always available. The people are nice and the setting is very quiet and relaxed, with light Chinese music in the background. If I lived here full-time, Id eat here a couple times a month. As it is, Ill have to stop in as I pass through.

Some family members and I went to this restaurant and it was one of the WORST experiences ever. We came in for the lunch buffet around 2:10 and ordered before really looking at it. BIG MISTAKE...very little food left. We asked about them bringing out more food and around 2:35 the cook came out with 2 small dish portions which were dumped into the cold remains of the dishes, raised his voice at us and tells us "Next time order from menu not get buffet". The quality of the food was poor and the server was rude as hell. Never again....

I currently feel sick. The shrimp tempura was soggy, heavily battered and still frozen. The Rainbow chicken had little flavor, (although recommended as a spicy dish) and was too oily. weird cuts of chicken. mysterious ground Pork in the dumplings had a fermented taste.. Midways through our meal, my partner ordered a ginger ale for an already upset stomach. 2 stars only deserved by server, who was accommodating to take the frozen tempura off our bill

I love Chinese this place rates First place as worst chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at Amazing 4.5 rating! These people that rated it must be relatives of the owner Do yourself a favor stay away! Even the steamed rice was horrible how do they stay in business? It was empty, deservedly so! No wonder Yelp only gives it 2 stars, I think that is a generous rating

A cozy lunch buffet tucked away from Route 29. Building is a little intimidating on the outside, but unassuming. The food was good, not great. But for the price, its a great value. As items were replaced on the buffet, they were much better fresh and hot. The sweet and sour chicken was excellent. Food tends to be more a bit more sweet than salty.

We looked at the Google review number alone and decided to go here - mistake! We realized once we got to the restaurant (by reading the actual reviews on Google and Yelp where it is rated 1.5 out of 5 stars) that it was not a good choice. We didnt stay for dinner, but the tea alone disappointed me. It tasted really watery. Wont be going back.

Me and my family loves loves loves the service and food is so delicious. Its a small buffet but I swear its the best . My inlaws had been coming here for 15 years and they introduced me me to the restaurant. Ever since then Ive been hooked for life. I cant recommend this place more than enough good prices and delicious food.

My family has eaten here for years. Weve always had good service, but the food here is what keeps us coming back time and time again. The Szechuan chicken is to die for, but there crispy beef or chicken is the best around. They have great crispy noodles, and wonderful appetizers as well!

One of my favorite places for Chinese food in Charlottesville. The lunch buffet is small but is even better than their takeout/delivery. Definitely worth a try if you can get away for a noon lunch. Do note that they use MSG in their food, which may be a problem for some diners.

I enjoyed every authentic dish of our meal. From the big pot of black tea, the crab and asparagus soup, to every single extra peanut I ordered with the delicious vegetarian tofu #609. The sliced tofu was unlike any I have ever had. So good. Thank you for a peaceful moment.
