给了这家餐馆打电话。。接电话的员工说他是四川人，在美国十几年了。他说有很多四川菜，之类的菜。我听了她的口音有点不太对，然后我问 ＊你是不是在美国出生的ABC中国人？＊ 他不太高兴说＊你很明显就是一个美国人在讲中文＊大家看我这里放的照片像美国人吗？哈哈。。我跟他说我就是土生土长的东北人，在美国出差。。 他说 ＊你就是美国人说中文。很明显＊。这个员工我感觉有点奇怪。我不知道食物好不好吃。。有些从中国大陆来的弗吉尼亚大学学生告诉我这里的食物非常一般。

2 stars compared to real Chinese, Taste of Asia, or Peter Changs, but still way better than Americanized Chinese- therefore 3 stars. The good: plenty of real Sichuan dishes on the menu, niurou mian every day of the week, and one of the only places youll see egg-tomato for lunch (try it, thats my go-to and its been good every time). The bad: Ive enjoyed Gingko since it was the NiHao Cafe, but I must say the food quality seems to have steadily declined over the years- fewer ingredients in the dishes, less distinctive flavors, greasier, less precision in the cooking levels of the rice/noodles/meats. Bottom line: Still a nice family and youll see plenty of zongguoren eating there, but the foods just not on.

I have been here several times already. Every time I come, I am greeted by friendly and professional staff. The food is very good as well. It is about as authentic as you are gonna get in cville, and some of their dishes incorporate creative twists, such as putting mint leaves into the beef and potatoe dish (very tasty, I highly recommend this dish). They also validate parking. (I was once told by the parking attendant that Ginkgo does not validate, but I assure you they do.) I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes Chinese food, especially good, authentic Chinese food, not that typical Americanized crap. Wait times are short too.

First time visiting and I couldnt even stay. The service is absolutely terrible. I brought my boyfriend and our son for a night out and we were ignored for the first ten minutes that we were there. When the waitress finally got around to take our order, she proceeded to argue with me over what I should order and ordered for me instead of giving me what I wanted. Needless to say, we did not stay. I am very disappointed, given that I am an avid fan of Asian food and I have heard great things about their authentic cuisine. Regardless of the rave reviews, no food is worth that kind of treatment.

I dont know about dining in, but I had a terrible experience ordering online. I used OrderUp to get my food delivered and not only did they make the driver wait over an hour and a half, they hung up on me twice when I called to ask about my food. The orange chicken was pretty good, about equal as any other place. However, the spring rolls were way below average. I would not recommend ginkgo and I will personally never eat here ever again.

Pretty good food. Ordered Hunan Chicken, and it was tasty and had some unusual vegetables (bok choy). Note that the restaurant IS NOT located on 14th Street! Its on Wertland St., next to the entrance to the parking deck. (They also will validate parking deck tickets.)

The food is good but the servers are rude. We were trying to order food and she kept trying to get us to order something else. We were planning on leave tip in cash right before we left but when she took credit card slip she said it wasnt enough and demanded more tip.

Ordered Kung Pao chicken and received something that tasted like a super citrus lemon chicken with Hunan sauce mixed in. Onions and peppers were nice. The pieces of chicken were the stereotypical mushy amorphous blobs of mediocre Chinese restaurants everywhere.

Great Chinese food! A lot of dishes taste better than Peter Chang in my opinion, and the price is very reasonable. I will suggest Kung Pao Chicken in lunch special for your first visit
