Me and my girlfriend were threatened by staff at the Barre location. Scary stuff. This place is full of rude, mean, and inconsiderate staff that will do absolutely nothing to solve any problem. Moreover, they will only escalate any situation that you need help getting through with their "pack" mentality and their methodology of bringing the whole family out for the slightest issue. Coming in one night around 9pm, me and my girlfriend knew that the place closed in 30 minutes and planned on being quick and courteous to the kitchen not trying to make them work any later than they had to. We asked how much the buffet was for TWO people. I was running short on cash in my pocket, and only had about 20 bucks. The older man at the front desk clearly spoke broken English and replied, $10.95. My girlfriend held up two fingers as I again repeated, "for two?. He nodded and we entered. We had to change seats after the waitresses spoke directly over our booth for 15 minutes and stood less than 10 feet from us glaring around the room and sometimes right at us. Finally, the bill came and it was $28. As I went up to the front of the store to try and talk to the old man about what he had told us, it was clear that he spoke almost no English at all. He agreed that he had said 10.95, but after trying to talk to him it was obvious that we were getting nowhere. We kept trying to explain that he told us the price was for two people...and he continued to nod in agreement, not realizing or understandin the problem. Finally, after 5 good minutes of repeating myself and trying to use different, more clear words, he began insisting that he said that was the price for one person. At this point another person came out of the back that spoke broken yet interpretable English. He was extremely mean and rude, and as I was trying to explain what happened, he kept accusing me that I saw the sign and didnt want to pay pointing at a sign that he said the price was on (an 8x10 piece of paper hanging in the window). I kept trying to tell him that is was a misunderstanding but he started yelling "Are you going to pay or no? I WILL call the police!" I gave them all the money I had including the change in my pockets (about 24 or 25 bucks). At this point the entire staff/family (6 or 7 people) were standing and glaring at us, arms crossed. Both me and my girlfriend were shocked and couldnt believe what was happening. The man from the back was still yelling, so after exhausting all forms of communication and not feeling safe nor wanting any confrontation with the police, we tried to leave. He followed us to the car; both of us now reasonably anxious, took a picture of my license plate and thank god we were able to leave.

Waitresses should not stand over you while you eat, I find it to be very intrusive, demeaning, annoying, and uncomfortable. Especially when they talk in Chinese about you in a personal way or bad way. I know Chinese and did not like what they said about me and I Filipino wife. We had the buffet (2) and water with no ice. They do not like it when you dont get soda, even when I told them we can not drink soda. They even tried to charge me once for soda when I got a glass of water. I find the wait staff to be like robots, not a happy atmosphere, and always thinking about money. They expect a full 15/20% tip for doing 1/4 of the work a normal waitress. Our oder came to about $14.00, 15 & 20% of that is $2.10/2.80. So I gave them 1/3, which was .85 cents. Now keep in mind that they get paid FULL minimum wage, not lower wage like in a non buffet type restaurants. This tells me that the firm knows they do not perform a full wait staff job so are compensated by getting the full minimum wage amount. So what happen is, after I used my credit card and signed my receipt and put down a .85 cent tip. The waitress stood at the table, looked at the tip and said, .85 cents is the tip with a shrude voice and rude face. I simply said yes and ignored her. These Chinese women are expecting a full tip, even the checkout counter said yes, they do receive full tip from some for doing basically 1/4 of the work, taking plates, getting drinks. My advice to you China Moon, if you pay them full minimum wage, dont tell customers they receive a full tip. Also quit letting your wait staff stand over you while you eat and talk in Chinese about the customers. They also need to be happy, not robots just trying to live and see the end of the work day. This is not how we do it in America. Thanks

Food quality was maybe average but was satisfying after drinking a fat beer and a day of skiing (not sure how my bowels will like it). Some of the meat is questionable as I bit into a fried mystery roll that kind of tasted like beef but could have been some other animal.. or not I dont know.. really the 3 stars comes from the easy experience, and the girl with huge boobs sitting near us made the visit a bit more pleasurable than it could have been l.

Stumbled upon this establishment on my way home from shredding the Gnar with a couple of Brohas. Despite the questionable reviews, one, to who seemed to be a trusted patron, stated seeing a hot chick at the buffet so we opted to give it shot. The food was so/so but not sure if thats because I was absolutely starving. In addition the bill was kind of expensive for the quality of food, so next time well probably just go to Micky Ds across the street.

The waitress here was very rude and inconsiderate. She was insistant on making me sit in an uncomfortable area with no a/c instead of sitting in the nicer area with booths and better a/c.I felt like I was lowballed here because I had my hiking pack and the food like the lo mein had no flavor and the meat wasnt cooked right.I will never buy food from this pkace, again!!

Ok ... Cold food, I would not freed my dog with that . I do love Chinese food, but that is BY FAR the worst restaurant Ive been and trust me, I traveled all around the world. Staff are treating you like crap, just like the food they just served you.... That has been cooked the day before ..... Enter at your own risk !!

I used to stop here regularly when passing through WRJ. The buffet has more variety by far than is ordinary. The food is good, but not great. Ingredients are of above average quality. Price is very reasonable, especially before dinner rates come into effect.

Pretty good food. We usually do take-out and not the buffet but both have been good. The people are super friendly. Only a 4 because there sometimes isnt consistency with the food depending on who is cooking that day.

We stop by for a quick lunch and were quite enjoying ourselves when we discovered a maget in the general taos chicken. Ruined lunch and when we spoke to the manager she didnt believe me. Stay away

I ordered the Vegetable soup to go. It was good came with noodles and fortune cookie. The buffet area needs the food covered not open to avoid things to fall in the food.
