About 2 months ago Bolton pizza changed owners. New chic menu, same old interior. About 6 weeks ago I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich and garlic bread. The garlic bread was crispy on the outside, which was good. The bread was a small roll cut into 3/4" slices, and was the garlic and olive oil had melted into the soggy interior of the bread, which was in stark contrast to the hard exterior. When I describe the inside as soggy and melted, I can only describe the texture as a warm olive oil drenched goo that had the texture of melted chocolate. This being the only restaurant in miles, I forced the garlic bread down my throat like a Labrador retriever eats a hamburger-+ one bite, no tasting, no breathing. The chicken cutlet sandwich-- opposite to the typical tenderized, breaded chicken breast baked in an oven--. Was a sandwich filled with possibly boiled, possibly dethawed, 1-2" cubed chicken meat. Tough, tasteless, no breading. The only saving grace of the chicken was that my expectations had already been lowered, and the existential dread of every good grinder spot I had grown to love would be bought out by someone who may have only read about italian-american food from a travel pamphlet they found in rural Sweden. About 3 weeks ago I decided to dine in since I always give a restaurant 2 chances, and perhaps the garlic grits bread bowl soup and chicken cube sandwich was a fluke. This time I ordered the Bolton, a pizza with sausage hamburger pepper onion and cheese, and got the $10 for 10 buffalo wings as a side, since I was particularly shameless that day. The $1 each buffalo wings were each the size of my pinkie or ring finger and all had more bone than meat on them. The presentation was particularly posh, with the ten baby chicken wings arranged symmetrically on a large plate with Franks red hot sauce drizzled over the entire plate, some of which had miraculously touched the chicken nubs. The blue cheese that came with the chicken bits was easily equal to the volume of all combined meat on the large, postmodern platter. They were bitter. I recall laughing out loud when I saw the size of the chicken bones. The Bolton, the specialty pizza of the restaurant came out around the same time. The thicc outer crust was dry, chewy, and tasted slightly bitter. Uncooked dough on the inside. The ; the dough under the center of the pizza was wet but somehow not greasy. After the first few bites I recognized something else was amiss. The rubbery sausage chunks had less flavor than the hamburger, the green peppers on top were only barely cooked yet still somehow raw. The pizza sauce, which will make or break a good pizza, was bland yet bitter, and collected together in small clumps just barely under the cheese. I was forced to give both meals i ate here a 2 stars out of 5. I would have given a 1 out of 5 stars, but boy howdy does that one sided single page extra thick menu look trendy, and the food Network was playing on the muted television so I was given the opportunity to imagine good food as I heard the server whisper to the (head chef? Owner?) about my scathing complaint regarding the size and taste of the chicken wings, the uncooked pizza, and the cost-- 10 dollars for 10 chicken bones. I could have got a better value raiding the little olive garden dumpster for bread sticks at 2 in the morning high on expired Flintstones chewable vitamins

What a delightful dinner we had at this small family owned restaurant!! Food was fresh and fast! Staff was very outstanding! Huge portions of pasta with homemade sauce! The meatballs are to die for and garlic bread with cheese is a must (try it with a side of sauce for dipping <3 ) If you have room for desert I suggest the Galaktobureko! Dont let the small building mislead you, a great gallery of delicious foods are inside!

Bolton pizza... Where do I begin? What a delightful treat. The crust is nice and soggy like I like. But the crust, that was the best part. It was very soggy. However, if I had to pick my favorite part of the pie.. It would definitely be the soggy crust. The soggy crust is marvelous.

With the new owner there is on love in the food. Small meals. The menu is small. I ordered a pastrami grinder from the old menu when I got there it wasnt on the new menu I asked why there ancer was its not a big seller So how old was the pastrami ? It was awful. I threw 1/2 out.

ordered a pizza, went home with not what I ordered this was the third time it happened. Called to complain and the owner stated " I need to investigate" What kind of answer is that. own up to your mistakes and make good. I will never go back again.

I love the pizza in particular the Bolton special. The only one complaint I would have is that sometimes the crust isnt cooked enough so it gets a little soggy on the bottom other than that its great

We ordered a pizza and went to pick it up. Upon arriving the door was locked and we had to go around back to get service.
