Im always fairly hesitant to order pizza anywhere that isnt labeled as a pizza go to. I went for it, with extra cheese because cheese, and had zero regrets. About the pizza. I diiiid order mozzarella sticks and they were so good we wolfed down the entire plate relatively quickly. So by pizza time I was kind of full, just two of us going to town on the mozzies. So maybe I regret being too full to eat the entire small extra cheese pizza. No, the mozz was great too, zero regrets. I also gobbled a few of my SOs fries and they were amazing. Perfect crunch on the outside but soft on the in, and seasoned really well. SO got the classic burger and ate it too fast to share any thoughts on it. Mostly because he was hungry. Price wise not bad at all, we ordered: Two beers, two tall whisky and sodas, mozz sticks, small extra cheese pizza, and a burger and fries for about 50 bucks. We live about 25 minutes away and the drive is gorgeous, real scenic area if youre into that. Theres a breakfast place across the street called Two Wrasselin Cats, cant wait to check that out too.

I have driven by this restaurant at least twice a week for months, had it bookmarked, Ive literally been dying to come here and try the food. I walked in and waited for a minute before a hostess came over and I asked for a menu so I could order for take-out. She kindly handed me the menu and took the party behind me to be seated. I had been wanting to try the blue burger with the big slab of blue cheese that someone had posted a pic of in a Yelp review but sadly there was no blue burger on the menu, only a black and blue burger which featured gorgonzola in which Im not as big a fan. So I skipped the burger idea and went straight for the pasta. When the waitress came back from seating everyone she took my order for a Chicken Parmigiana and a Zuppa Da Pece, and I took a seat at the bar.

Ignored for 24 minutes. Ordered Cobb salad, but told no chicken salad, so order something else. Waitress then tells us there is chicken. Maybe they dont know how to make chicken salad. Or why not just chop chicken for the salad. No soap in restroom. Empty place. Just a few barflies. We left. Terrible service.

Food was ok, a bit pricey for what you get .... But service left a lot to be desired: no bread before dinner until asked, then no bread plates, you have flag down server for more drinks/refills, long wait for salads, long wait for meals, forgot one entree.

This is a decent place to eat at in East Haddam, its a place where all the locals come to eat. The Shrimp Scampi and the Spinach Dip was out of this world. The Shrimp were huge! It is a tad over priced but its worth eating at in the future.

The food it is awesome and the staff is very pleasant. This is our second visit and we drove over 40 minutes to get here just because the last one was so good. I would go back again. Be sure to ask about their silent menu.
