WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OFTEN DIRTY. I dont know how this place has 3.6 stars. Ive been going to Kneaders for over 10 years, three different locations in the Salt Lake area, Id rate them all the same 2 stars today, but in the beginning, 10 years ago, I wouldve rated them higher. They use to be one of my favorite places to go. Their chicken salad croissant, turkey avocado sandwich, and soup & bread bowl were my favorite and those things still taste great, though even the quality of the food has gone a bit downhill due to what I assume is shotty preparation. Are they worth waiting 30 minutes for? Not even close! And while you wait 30 minutes after ordering, you can sit with your company at a dirty table with dirty floors and put your baby in a dirty sticky high chair. When youre ready to go, you get to wonder where to put your garbage because they only have ONE and its ALWAYS overflowing. Im not exaggerating when I say it is like this EVERY SINGLE TIME I go there whether its a busy lunch rush or a slow afternoon. Meanwhile they have plenty of snooty and young employees on the clock ready to treat you like youre a moron, or impatient, or have unrealistic expectations. What happened to "the customer is always right"? I worked in customer service for years (food and retail) and because of this I am a kind, pleasant and understanding customer in just about every circumstance, but this company needs some kind of outside consulting firm to whip them into shape. Kneaders use to be a nice place to visit, but I have far too many of my "bad customer service" stories come from Kneaders. I have decided now, since the last visit which was in recent weeks, that I just simply wont go there any more. It just isnt worth it! Theyre as bad as Dennys. Weve begun to be regular patrons of Schmidts Pastry Cottage just southwest of this Kneaders location on South Jordan Parkway. Seriously Kneaders, get some help, I beg you, because you have good product, you just have developed terrible delivery of that product over the last few years. I gave two stars because the food is pretty good (pastries are subpar though), otherwise based on everything else it deserves 1 star.

This is the third time I have been to this location and the third time I received a disgusting Large Green Avocado Salad. I even asked the girl at the drive thru to check the lettuce because I have previously had a bad experience at this location. I was on my way back to work where I opened my salad. The salad was another disappointment. Yucky lettuce. Three small slices of avocado. Old unions. And the salad was small, not the amount of salad Kneaders normally provides. Very disappointed in this location. Ten people in my office heard my complaint and saw my nasty salad. No one would have heard a thing about Kneaders if my salad was awesome. Now 10 people have heard about my bad experience.

This is the fifth time that I have received the worst most disgusting service ever from a Kneaders Restaurant. Not only did they double charge me once but they also charged me for someone elses meal and did not bother to tell me until I mentioned it. Then the avocado in my sandwich was dark brown, my soup was cold, the whole meal was a mess. Now today I decided to get them another chance only to be let down again when asked for lemons for my soup the girl handed me to slice of lemons with her bare hand no gloves no cup. And then proceed to rush me out of the way. This restaurant is disgusting and I will most definitely call the Health Department.

I ordered a croissant sandwich and it was tiny and it looked like they didnt even try to put any chicken salad in it. about two tablespoons worth. The next time I ordered I asked for a turkey bacon avacado sandwich with Grilled chicken instead of turkey and no tomato. they put the tiniest bit of chicken in the middle of this huge sandwich and charged me two dollars extra for it, put tomato on, and took the bacon off. idiots. such idiots. if I am paying two extra dollars for a different type of meat, make it a sandwich rather than two huge slices of bread and a pathetic piece of cold grilled chicken in the center and keep the bacon! so pissed.

I used to eat there a lot. Never again. I was driving home and got sick. Pulled over. My son went to get me a cup of water. He was denied the water. The little girl behind the counter tried to sell him a 3 dollar bottle of water. Also denied him a few napkins so I could try to clean up. I cant imagine what kind of training is provided to deny someone water. The little children working thought this to be very funny. Never again. Also, none of my guys will be eating there. The customer service here is beyond deplorable. I notice that Im not the only one displeased with the service. Your food is fair at best.

They have really good french toasts! I strongly recommend it, especially if you are there for breakfast because its UNLIMITED. I have never been able to get past 2 plates, because they are so filling. The slices are on the large size and I would say their crown jewel of the plate is their special maple syrup. The store itself felt very cozy. Wooden tables and chairs. The staff were friendly when I went. Sometimes there is a large line but it moves pretty quickly. They only have 1 cashier, hence the line. Dont forget the free samples by the cash register. Those are free yummies.

I asked for a salad that had, lettuce, cucumber, carrots the lady at the regdrister seriously couldnt hear anything,told me they had tomatoes told her no tomatoes and she mentioned onions I told her no onions I told her just cucumbers carrots and cranberrys and ranch for the dressing. And I paid 4.39 for a salad that had maybe 5 bites in it, seriously kneeders 4.39 for a salad with maybe 5 bites in it. I get this place is over priced, I stopped coming because its so over priced. So I thought I would try again. Yeah BIG mistake Thank you kneeders for not listening.

The food was amazing- I had broccoli soup in a bread bowl and the fresh fruit tart. The service was an unpleasant experience though. I waited at the register for almost five minutes before anyone showed up to take my order. She seemed annoyed, extremely apathetic, and was borderline rude. When another employee brought out my food, he also seemed like he was in the worst of moods. Ive worked in the food industry and understand sometimes you dont want to be there, but this level of service was unacceptable for even a usually tolerable person like me.

The employees here are completely incompetent and unprofessional. If you call during a time that they are busy, they will pick up the phone and hang up on you without a word. If you try to call in an order after they have received a large order, they will not allow you to place that order in advance. If they actually do allow you to place your order ahead of time, they dont have your order ready when they say it will be ready. You are guaranteed to wait at least 15-20 minutes no matter what. I will never return to this Kneaders location.
