I purchased the last half-dozen apple fritters from Harmons bakery on the morning of Sept. 9. I was very disappointed to find they were overcooked, rubbery, tasteless and with little to NO apple bits inside! These were also the smallest apple fritters Ive ever seen not to mention the most expensive. Im used to buying fritters 3 times that size at Bowmans Market in Kaysville or Dicks Market in Centerville for half the price. Because Harmons fritters were so little, I headed over to the Draper Walmart to get more and bought another half-dozen that were in a box. I found Walmarts fritters to be fresh, soft, fluffy, and TASTY. They also had apples inside! While Walmarts fritters were the same size as Harmons, they were half the price and MUCH higher quality. I wouldnt be so upset if I got what I paid for at Harmons, but I paid a premium price for the smallest, worst-tasting apple fritters Ive ever eaten. Yes, I ate two of them to make sure I the first one wasnt a fluke. I was further annoyed that there were at least a half-dozen bakers wearing tall fancy baker hats and white outfits milling around the deli and bakery area. Im convinced that these poser bakers are really fakers.

Ordered a Thanksgiving meal and was told it would be ready by 10:00 a.m on November 23rd, at 11:30 got a rather sharp phone call saying "Your order was ready at 10:00 this morning are you going to pick it up!" I said yes I was around 3:30 p.m. when I got off work the lady said "BUT ITS HOT NOW" i asked if she couldnt put in a cooler (like every other Holiday Dinner I have ordered elsewhere) she said she couldnt because of allergens... I believe she ment bacteria. I said is that not what refrigeration is for? she said all she could do is keep it warm till I pick it up. Not wanting a dryed out dinner for Thanksgiving I sent my son to pick it up and had him ask for reheating instructions he was answered with "we dont have any just be real carefull" what the #$&* I bet 99% of the people get this for their Holiday meal why cant you refrigerate it and have reheating istructions?

Wont accept returns for fresh (non-sealed) items. No grocery store Ive been to does this, other than Harmons. After getting busted by the health dept. for reselling a returned turky, they decide to refuse returns of everything that is not factory sealed. Talk about poor service. Even the Walmarts and other budget stores dont have such a restrictive return policy. Also, when you try to exchange rotten produce youve bought from them, they wont do it without a receipt, then when you bring in the receipt, they deny that its even their produce at all, while the store clerks refuse to accept responsibility. While they do have some more interesting food items there, and pretty good bakery bread, it is very pricey relatively, even for basic items.

Harmons has done an amazing job adapting to the market. They are a local business that has higher quality modern foods than competition like Trader Joes or Whole Foods. They employ a lot of teenagers as clerks so the service isnt amazing, but theres always an adult employee around who will be friendly and helpful. The store is always clean with fresh food. Prices are average, some things over-priced, some things under-priced. The freshly prepared food is a little pricey, but tastes good. On the other hand, they stock all sorts of new foods and many times you can get something better quality for less money compared to Kroger (for example)

After several occasions of the same scenario-I decided to write a review. If you buy meat or fish from this specific location you must prepare it on the date it was packaged or the day after. If you wait until 1-2 days before the "sell by" date there is a 95% chance the meat is already spoiled. Time and time again meat has gone bad 1-3 days before the "sell by" date. I have taken items back to Harmons, but it is simple a ridiculous hassle at this point. Great option if you want to go to the grocery store every 1-2 days for protein---which is simply unrealistic.

Not happy with the staffs at this location at all. We always shop at the Harmons at the Crossing. My husband made a mistake and ordered some pastry from this other Draper location to pick up at 9am. When I came at 9:30am, they told me we never specified the time to pick up on the phone so the pastry would not be ready until 10am. And they pretty much said it was our fault. We repeated 3 times to the girl who took our order that we would like to pick up at 9am. If your staffs make a mistake, blaming on your customer is the best business practice. Way to go.

Very difficult due to realignment of goods. Couldnt find beer, watermelon juice or PAM. I LIKE THE WIDER AISLE SUGGESTION HAVE SOME STUDENT GEEK PUT TOGETHER A PROGRAM THAT WILL DESCRIBE THE LOCATION OF EVERY MAJOR ITEM THAT HARMONS CARRIES IF I WERE TO WALK THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR PUNCH A BUTTON THAT SAYS HARMONS AND TYPE OF APPLE JUICE IT WOULD FLARE UP AND SAY AISLE SIX IN THE BACK OR THAT YOU DONT CARRY IT. A "GOODS" LOCATE HER WOULD BE A BOON NOT ONLY TO THE CUSTOMERS BUT FOR ALSO THE STOCK PERSONNEL. THE TIME IS RIPE!!!!

I attended a large family holiday celebration and due to limited kitchen space available to me, I opted to order a prepared Prime Rib from Harmons. It was cooked perfectly as ordered and it was the hit of the party!! I also want to mention that since our group was large we handed out plastic knives and they worked! Thank you Harmons for providing a stellar experience and contributing to a great memory for our family holiday celebration.

If there was a chance to give someone less than 1 star, I would give these guys 5 negative stars. The manager of this store is selfish, rude, and likely racist. He takes things personally when something does not go his way rather than the customers way, thinking hes better than everyone who goes to his store. Plus the store smells like a grocery store in the hood even though it looks nicer, save your time at some other location.

Harmons is not known as a low cost value brand, its a quality brand, and it does deliver quality. The groceries and trinkets are all well and good, but they have an awesome Salad by the pound bar for lunch and plenty of pre-made meal options that are higher quality than you would expect out of a Grocery store. Get the Salad on Wednesday and it half price. Sign up for text deals to get all of the lunch deal of the day options.

Took my son with me and they gave him a full out tour of the cheese department (which is great). The lady told him stories of how they were made and how old they are. He was fascinated! Our favorite gourmet cupcakes, and cookies are there. For every school party we take Harmons cookies (since we cant take homemade treats) and my son is a big hit. :) Everybody there is very friendly and service is amazing!

Personally, I have not been here. But the way in which the produce guy showed Ethan F. the entire tropical fruit section was fantastic! Job well done sir. I follow much of what Ethan suggests, or recommends. Let it be known that he has many followers on several social media sites. Good news for his followers, free advertising for Harmons. A plus all around. Thank you Harmons of Draper.
