The prices are quite spendy, but there are a few things on the menu that are worth the visit. The soups with rolls give you the best bang for your buck. The Chicken Salad Sandiwch on a croissant has never let me down. Their refrigerated rolls are fantastic! The other bakery items are a hit and miss kind of thing. Sometime they are stale, other times they are moist and chewy. You never know what you are going to get. The service is slow and the prices are high, but in this economy...can you blame them? I also feel like you are paying for the atmosphere and the experience you get when you shop at Gardner Village. There is only one other eating establishment there, so you dont have a lot to choose from and they can keep their prices so high because you will pay them, unless you want to lose your parking place.

Bakery that also offers soup, sandwiches, and salads. The meal menu didnt offer anything special or unique; they had the basics. For what they offer, I think the prices are too much. When I ordered, I was not asked preference on dressing (though the Cobb doesnt have an assigned dressing) nor was I asked what kind of cookie for my kids. Luckily I realized before too late that I had received bleu cheese and I exchanged it (I had already asked for the bleu cheese crumbles to be traded off my salad). The ranch I traded for was not flavorful. My kids enjoyed the kids meals. We enjoyed the snickerdoodle that came with their meals. So maybe skip the meal and go right for the cookies.

My favorite little eatery! Employees are always very polite and happy. Dining area is always very clean and orderly with a hint of southern charm. The menu is impressive for an establishment its size. They have delicious fresh baked breads, all sorts of tarts and cookies and many other fantastic desserts. Currently theyre serving pumpkin and apple treats that are to die for. The latest is the Carmel Apple Bread Pudding (my current favorite)! It is perfectly baked with fresh caramel poored over the top. There are small cuts of apple baked into the wonderful bread, with just the right touch of cinnamon. Absolutely heaven.

I received bread with grease drippings all over it. When I called to find out what it was, I was informed it was grease that had dripped from the bottom of the pan above it in the oven. Disgusting to say the least. I had an opportunity to see the back of the bakery and was shocked at how filthy it is. I shouldnt be surprised at how dirty it is based on grease drippings on the bread from unwashed pans they use. Really gross! I sure dont want my family eating anything from such a dirty establishment. How about you? Eat at your own risk!!!!!

food handled with bare hands. Not a clean facility. Poor service. Cookies are terrible. Everything in the "refrigerated" section is all purchased somewhere else where they slap a new name on it and sell it 300% profit. (except for the cream puff things) the Doughnuts are DUNFORD doughnuts. You can buy them for 60 cents at the Dunford place nearby instead of the 1.25 they over charge you for! Would never go back again. Especially after multiple stale cookies

My family has never been treated so poorly. Shame on us for not reading the reviews of this bakery before booking our 6 year old daughters birthday party. To the owner: You had an opportunity to delight a potential customer this morning. Instead you insulted and belittled my wife. Equally, you ruined my daughters special day with her friends. Needless to say, we do not recommend this bakery.

Went in at 10:30, saw a complete tray of croissants behind the counter, and they wouldnt sell me one! Girl said it was "pre-order only." Sorry, but I dont feel like an eclair for breakfast! Why even open during breakfast hours if youre only selling pastries?

Decent food and great environment. Prices are reasonable for the area and quantity. If you go when they are really busy they struggle to keep up with the crowds, but the workers are very kind.

Nice bakery with good choices. The prices are a little steep but its very comfortable and can be super quiet during the day. Definitely nice for a quick treat or reading the paper to relax.

A salad is the best bang for your buck here for lunch or dinner! I miss a lot of the old pastries they used to make, but the new tarts and cupcakes are tasty too. #BringBackTheHermits
