I want to be as constructive as I can. Although, my visit was very frustrating. After ordering, my wife and I sat down and very shortly an employee came out and delivered my wife salad. He asked if this was all. I said "no, we still needed a Bakers Choice pizza." About 10 minutes later another employee past by with a pizza. I jokingly motioned to her like she mistakenly past by my table. Several minutes later, she again past by again with a pizza and I again jokingly motioned to her. This time after she delivered the pizza, she came back and asked if I was missing anything. I said "yes, a Bakers Choice pizza". She said Ill check on it. Several minutes later the customer that had received the second pizza took the pizza up to the order counter. I wasnt able to hear the conversation or see the pizza. But, it was clear that she was stating that this was not the pizza she ordered. Interesting this conversation was between the girl that took our original order and the girl that past by my table twice. Both these girls knew that I was missing my pizza. Several minutes later, after nearly 20 minutes, I walked up to inquire about my pizza. They apologized and said they missed up my order and were making my pizza right now. They said it would be done in 5 minutes. I also noticed that they boxed up the extra pizza and delivered it to the customer. After over 15 minutes later, I finally got my pizza, over 35 minutes total. Although the manager apologized and offered me a dessert. I felt that none of the employees nor the manager clearly understood good customer service. I understand that mistakes happen. But, neither of the 2 employees took the time to check on my order after they found out that I was missing my pizza.

Normally we would have given 5 stars, based on our previous experiences. However, today was extremely disappointing. My wife and I ordered a sandwich with provolone cheese. After a few bites my wife felt something smelled a little off and asked for my opinion. We soon realized it was the provolone cheese- it had a strong, weird odor just like parmesan. Since the provolone cheese we buy (from Costco) is very mild in taste and smell, my wife returned the sandwich to the counter and discretely mentioned the cheese. A few minutes later another employee returned with the same sandwich and cheese and proceeded to explain how their cheese is of highest quality and could not possibly be spoiled. His lecture went on and on even after we assured him well eat the sandwich (minus the questionable cheese). All I have to say is your "high quality, Costco" provolone stinks and quite frankly so does your customer service!

Let me start by saying Im a HUGE Village Baker fan and have been frequenting their West Jordan location for about 10 years now. Their turkey, provolone, avocado sandwich is about the best food Ive ever eaten. That said, I was very excited to hear they were opening this second location, with a dine-in option. After my first and last visit to this location, I discovered they REALLY didnt plan well and only had about a third (or less) of the seating they need to fulfill their customer base. Anyone could have known theyd need more space... Bottom line, go here for take-out (call in orders ahead). DO NOT go here for a dine-in experience unless you want to stand around trying to fight someone for a table in a excessively crowded seating area. Its a joke. The food is incredible, though.

Terrible!! Never got my food, after an hour and 15 minutes I just left.. Terrible customer service, never communicated their issues to customers, and just allowed people to stand around for hours. We ordered online and I overheard a manager say there was a two hour delay for online orders. COMMUNICATE that to your CUSTOMERS! This isnt my first visit, all other visits have been fantastic, but the lack of customer service I just witness I will never spend money at village baker again. Horrible! Horrible!

Worst customer service ever! Stood around for over an hour to not get my food and left. Theres absolutely no customer service! Zero! Called in for a refund and had someone claim they were a "manager" if that was the service a manager at village baker provides, I can understand why their customer service is so bad! Terrible service, terrible experience! I dont care for your excuses: "were just busy" or "last week we had a three hour wait". What I care about is customer service, and you have none!

The bread is fantastic here! Portion size is bigger than expected. I usual get a half sandwich or half salad and it fills me up. I love their pastries! Huge cinnamon rolls, tart lemon bars, moist red velvet cake and tasty cookies! Asian chicken salad is my favorite along with Turkey and roast beef sandwiches. The pizza is tasty too butt a little on the greasy side. They have expanded this location which had helped but parking and seating definitely takes a little patience.

Incredibly fresh food! Very tasty. Very crowded at lunch. Nice atmosphere, excellent staff. Only drawback, a bit longer wait than I anticipated from a sandwich shop and way to much bread on my sandwich. I am not big on bread to start with, only ended up eating one half of the sandwich bread. Would definitely request a "thin" slice bread sandwich next time. Great food, would return.

Have to go with the two star for overall experience. Food? AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. Wait time? Terrible. You want a pizza? Guaranteed 15 minute wait (acceptable) but most nights and weekends you’re looking at 30 minutes. Sorry, that’s just not ideal. Sandwich? 15 minutes guaranteed. To make a sandwich. It’s not a 5 star restaurant, it’s a bakery. Speed up your handling time.

So good. The bread is fantastic. Its a great foundation for a sandwich. No fluff, just good food made with quality ingredients all around. Dont look at the desserts too long while standing in line though...youll have a hard time saying no. My brain is melting right now as Im chomping on a lemon bar sent from above. I dont have milk though so I very well may die. Adieu.

The food and service at Village Baker is great! We buy sandwiches that are fresh, pizza that has great flavor and the desserts are wonderful. Worth started the first Village Baker on 90th South. I was happy to see the new Sandy location because it is closer to my home. My family loves the daily soup choices and I enjoy the Turkey and Cranberry sandwich.

Food is good. However, whenever we place a large order it never fails to have multiple items missing (chips, desserts, etc). Every single time. And they will respond with a poor answer stating, "oh sorry, were just busy." It shouldnt matter if youre busy when we place a large order at 10:00. Be glad youre busy. Touch up on your customer service.

Had one of the best eating out experiences at this location in a long time. They were personable, kind, and did everything they could to make the meal enjoyable for the whole family. Both management and staff were incredible. Its rare to see such amazing customer service. I even tried to recruit their manager to my work!
