Nice place but to bad that they dont have good costumer service. They used to be a great place until they had new young girls started in the new location we have gone here many times and they always very nice but this time I ask to have a corn in a cup since my son cant eat it in the stick due to has a fractured front tooth well I requested to have a full corn cut so it wont have so much water if anyone has eat there corn knows it always has a lot of water well they act like I was asking for the Impossible they refuse to do it even do its very easy there excuse was it will take to long to fill a cup. I never ask for a huge cup fill all I wanted was one full corn cut and put it on the cup. I guess thats imposible for any of the ladies in there to do it. What is more disappointing is that even who I think is the owners wife didnt even bother to come and see if everything was ok well I guess they got bigger but the costumer service when done.

i gave 2 stars because the ice cream is great and the drinks but the fires taste like they have frostbite! also i have been coming to this place for a long time and the new younger girls are so rude there way to busy flirting with there male customers. i literally had to get mad and ask for the manager to get this girl to take my order! not to mention there was a mixed race couple who went in. they looked very excited till they got to the reg. it was like the cashier refused to take there order she would not listen to them and they were so polite. finally they left. THIS IS BEYOND RIDICULOUS !!!!! IF THE YOUNGER GIRLS ARE NOT REPLACED OR TAUGHT SOME MANNERS ME AND SEVERAL OTHER WEEKLY CUSTOMERS WILL HAVE TO FIND A NEW PLACE. Yes we love Tropicana but why go there for ice cream just to leave mad because of the unprofessional employees!

Finally a unique opportunity to dine unlike any other. While still a franchise business meaning it holds the consistency of a well run eatery. This place has uber variety and a flare on traditional Mexican dishes along with some very authentic south of the boarder favorite snacks you wont soon find anywhere else. The house made ice cream is served by the truckload and will make eyes light up when you see the over the top presentation. Average ticket with both premium dessert and meal 12$ - 15$ pp. This place stays busy but is also very clean all three times I have visited.

Its a very big restaurant with great servers and a welcoming environment. Its a place your order and sit while you wait restaurant with no servers, but you get a number and you wait to be called. The prices are very steep for this small business, on my last visit a medium cup of fruit and a small cup of mangonada was around $10.50. I only go in there whenever Im feeling "spendy", which for a small Mexican restaurant is hard to say. Overall the experience for first time is good and the customer service is amazing, just be willing to open your wallet a little bit.

Stopped in for a bite in the neighborhood, and the outside advertising for platas fritas looked tasty, so I stopped in. Had no platas fritas on the menu, so I ordered a banana Berry smoothie. Took 20 minutes for my smoothie to be ready, and they called 13 orders before mine. (My order was number 11, they called number 24 before mine was ready.) Plus sides: the staff checked on me when I had been waiting 10+ minutes, and the eventual smoothie was pretty good, 7/10.

Ive came here twice with different people and we all love this place! I think the prices are great! I mostly like the Fresas con crema. The only thing that Ive noticed is that they put very little ice in the drinks... the people Ive went with notice that too. The other day I went I asked the girl if she can put more ice and it seemed like she didnt put more it was the same ☹️☹️

A now not so hidden gem. I love the new location, no more lines going out the door, comfortable seating, and great food/drinks. My only suggestion is they should put a trashcan out front or sweep up cause there is always trash on the curb making it look tacky.
