In a world where so many food establishments compete over mediocre food, yet claim to be "fresh," The Smokehouse BBQ and Burgers really shines through. In fact within 5 minutes drive you can find any number of places that sell the same thing but nobody takes the time to really put forward a quality product like this guy. I mean, where else can you find a burger that has actually been seasoned rather than just covered in the same old 5 ingredients. Although the price is a little high, you wont even think about it when you take your first bite. My black and blue burger was amazing yet very simple at first glance. A patty with a blue cheese sauce, grilled onions, on a pretzel bun. But when you actually dissect it (with your teeth!) you find the patty isnt just a blob of ground beef but a thick, juicy piece of cow that has been rolling in a special blend of black pepper and other delicious spices. The grilled onions and blue cheese sauce are a perfect compliment to the seasoning and make every bite a bit of heaven. Soft pretzel bun? nuff said. The mac and cheese is so gooey and delicious I found myself longing for something better than a spoon to scoop it up with. Having been there twice now I will definately be back to try the rest of the line up. Based off of what I have had so far, how could I go wrong with anything on the menu? I am a fan of craftsmen who strive for excellence regardless of their trade. In my book, you sir, are a champion!

Back in 2006 my wife and I loved this place, they had the best chicken bites, they had the best homemade chips, I have never eaten pizza like they used to have. The pizza was made with a crispy crust and soft and chewy inside and they put the sauce over the top of the pizza, and the cheese was somehow baked into the dough, they would put the best sausage chunks on top. They had good reuben sandwiches, I was able to get so much food for under $20. We heard that they were reopening again, so we went in and the menu was really slimmed down, no more chicken bites, no more pizza, no reuben sandwiches, they had pretty much just pulled pork, they had us buy Doritos instead of their homemade chips. It felt like the guy wanted us in and out and kept telling us that his food was better than it used to be, not really. He made excuses why they no longer had the pizza, the place was no longer clean and I paid about $20 for a pulled pork sandwich that was okay, and a bag of vending machine chips, for me and my wife. I guess I got all nostalgic about this place and then was disappointed. I wish I knew how the pizza was made before they went down hill, it was awesome.

We love BBQ and decided to try this place out. We LOVED it. AMAZING BBQ that wont break the bank. The cashier/service (we are assuming one of the owners) was so friendly and inviting. Since it was our first time she gave us many pointers on how to get the best out of our visit. Food served quickly and it was delicious and was perfect proportions. We even had to take some home. She continued being amazing by giving us an extra plate for our kid, even though we didnt say anything. She also snuck me a sucker for our kid (snuck because she knew he needed to eat his lunch first). I felt like a was a friend and that my being there was more than just another customer. This place also has drink syrups for your choosing (super in right now) and many different sauces for your food to choose from. I will definitely be going back for the great service, delicious food, and low cost!!!

We started going when it was first opened and we loved it. The food was excellent, prices were good. Owners changed, just recently in August, claiming fresher, better tasting food. What a joke! Service was very slow, 30 mins for a slice of pizza, which was sent back because it was burnt. The brisket was dry and over-cooked. The side macaroni used to be awesome, not even close to what it used to be, totally different recipe, terrible. The drinks came in clear, plastic, 12 oz picnic/party cups. Dont waste your money on a side salad, Ive had better ones at 7-11. We waited and waited for the bill, we had to get it ourselves. Dont let the management know if your not satisfied, they dont handle criticism very well.

Smokehouse has got the cheapest bbq prices in Utah valley for great quality grub. The experience I had when my husband and I went was laid back and relaxing with a great view of the mountains. The service wasnt amazing, but efficient... but you cant always expect great service when in Utah Valley. When the food came out, we were both impressed by the authenticity of the food. My husband and I have both lived in the south and found that Smokehouse is the place to go for genuine southern style bbq. Overall, this place is worth a visit.

Just attended yesterday for lunch was not disappointed. I got the 5 dollar deal, a pulled pork sandwich, chips and an endless fountain drink, and split it with someone who got the Hawaiian burger. The pulled pork sandwich was good, with plenty of good BBQ sauces to choose from. However, the Hawaiian burger was absolutely astounding. Delicious, and incredible, it solely inspired me to go back today, and to write this review. Great food, good prices, and that "hole-in-the-wall" feel that makes up a great place to eat.

Be on the look-out for this place.....if your looking for the best BBQ in the valley this is the place to go! I was able to talk to the owner, guy was gracious and way down to earth. The Alabama sauce was fabulous and the ribs and brisket was to die for. Both the sides were also fab. I had the corn bread and smoked potatoe but with the quality of the food I cant imagine you could go wrong with any of it. The decor was great I had a good laugh (a little strange as I was sitting there by myself).

This is one of my favorite "hole in the wall" food places around here. If you like gourmet burgers for cheap, then this is the place for you. I recommend the Black n Blue burger. If you like blue cheese, then this ones a winner. If salads are your thing, then go for the Islander Salad. It has the most amazing ginger dressing on it. All in all, at least try in once. You might find yourself becoming a regular.

Great service, the Owner is "Down to Earth" and is very friendly. The food tastes amazing, the Brisket and Pulled Pork are my favorite. Their Baked Beans are different then any I have tried before, they are fabulous. The service is Great, everyone is friendly and you are served within a matter of minutes. Their in-house variety of BBQ sauces make this place a awesome BBQ pit in the heart of Orem, UT.

Where to begin. Top to bottom worst bbq meal ive had in the state. My brisket was a roast not brisket. My ribs had the consistency of jerky. I was hoping the sides would at least half save the meal i was bitterly disappointed. The potato salad was a joke. All i could taste was dill. The mac and cheese were a step above craft from a box.Stay away. Even at the low price it not worth it.
