Hubby isnt always in the mood for BBQ, so when he was up for it in Phoenix, I jumped at the chance. And thank goodness we ended up here, because we found some fantastic food! We arrived around 5p on a Sunday and had about a 20-25 minute wait. Once we got a table we were plenty hungry and ordered right away. In the mean time, we enjoyed some of the complimentary cornbread. It was sweet and soft and hard to resist! Our food was out in no time. We shared a three meat plate and they even split it for us! The best part of the meal was definitely the STL ribs. They were ridiculously tender! So tender, that when I went to pick it up by the bone, the meat immediately fell off. This is only the second time I have ever found wet style ribs this amazing. It seriously puts every other place to shame. (I will mention that we were told these ribs are fattier than their baby back. So if you prefer something lean, keep that in mind.) Unfortunately, the beef rib was not quite as impressive. It might have been over-salted and definitely on the chewy side. However, their brisket was a solid choice! Nice flavor and pretty tender. Also, the shoestring Fries were great! Wed probably do something other than the side of veggies in the future because they were bland in comparison. After paying the bill and tipping our great waitress, she then delivered a bag of freshly made mini donuts! I saw them being made at the entrance and they looked great, but I was telling myself that I didnt need to have dessert. But being complimentary I couldnt help myself! It was worth it! They were similar to a funnel cake consistency and rolled in cinnamon sugar. They were the perfect ending to a delicious meal!!

Let me start this review by saying that I NEVER take the time to write reviews. I live across the freeway from this place and ever since it went up, I can often smell it when I go outside. I love barbeque with a passion but hadnt tried this place until tonight. This is, hands down, the GREATEST barbeque I have literally ever tasted. I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries for just under $13, and it even came with some cornbread. I placed the order to go, drove across the street after placing the order, and it was already ready to pick up! Now for the food. The fries? Literally the BEST fries Ive ever had. These thin, season salted fries were absolutely incredible, and came in a respectably sized portion. There were 2 things of cornbread included that I wasnt expecting when I picked up the order, so that was a bonus- fluffy and warm. Now for the sandwich. This sandwich was decently sized, smothered in house barbeque sauce, and came with 2 extra, rather large sides of hot and mild sauce. My god.. this sauce was insanely good. The meat was very tender and not fatty at all with a subtle smokey flavor, I added more of the hot barbeque sauce to it (I love tons of sauce) and literally couldnt stop eating it. I used to swear by Toms BBQ on Country Club, but they have just been dethroned in my book. I will absolutely be ordering from Bobby Qs many more times in the future. Well done you guys, well done.

First of all it was an awesome place inside and out.. very nice atmosphere.. short wait if I didnt choose to sit at the bar.. the customer service from the bartender who said " Ill be great at eight" wish I could remember his name, was on point.. he was extremely busy and normally I would have complained about the small stuff, but he magically made it seem as if my husband and I were the only people there. I ordered a cheeseburger and when I got my food it didnt taste the way I like it, sweet BBQ sauce is my flavor. They asked how I liked the meal and I told them that I wasnt into it because of the smoked taste, it was new to me.. I wasnt looking for another plate or my money back. But the manager came and over and paid for the burger and I insisted that it wasnt necessary. To top it off he accidentally threw away our to go food.. and tried to comp that too. I told him they better not.. this place blew me away with the amount of attention dedicated to making sure our experience was a positive one. So even though I wasnt into the smoked flavor but I will be back, hands down best customer service in the whole state.

Drove past a few times and decided to try it out today for lunch. It wasnt on Google maps yet so I didnt know what to expect for menu and price. It is a sit down restaurant with a bar and lounge area. Came as a party of 4. First impression of the place was way better than I had expected. The atmosphere was very warm welcoming. The menu was a little more pricey than I had anticipated. First ordered drinks and they were great. Very fresh and flavorful. Ordered the Q rolls and they raised the expectation bar. We all got baby back ribs as the main course. The food was incredible. The side Mac and cheese was the best creamy Mac and cheese Ive ever eaten at a restaurant. Its bit pricey if you dont know what to expect but was worth every penny. I now have leftovers for football Sunday. Our server was really very friendly, casual, and perfectly timed. Will definitely be going back. Be prepared to spend between $20-$40 per adult for a meal.

I was going to write this place a glowing review because the food is good. ALTHOUGH... the second time I went to go in to eat, it was a Thursday night at 8:30. The place was starting to clear out, yet when I came into the door we stood there for at least 5 minutes while no one in the whole placed said anything. No hold on a sec, the hostess is busy, they just ignored us. Another young lady was waiting for something when one woman on the staff finally came up to the place where they make fresh donuts. The young woman nicely asked if this is where she could get some and the woman gave her an attitude while she was bagging donuts for who knows whatever reason. I was already getting pissed off no one was bothering to help us and just OBSERVING this happen made me exit in my fashion with an "eff this place".

First off the food was amazing, but the service was absolutely terrible. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be 20-25 minutes, it ended up being about 50 minutes. Not a huge deal I know times arent exact. Once sat it took roughly 10 minutes for the waitress to even come by to take our drink order. It then took her another 20 to bring the water and 10 more to bring out alcohol, and of course one of the drinks came out wrong. She finally took our order after fixing the drink issue and taking our order. We got our food, and it was great but cornbread was never brought out, and another waitress had to pick up the slack. We didnt see our waitress again until we were all finished and waiting for the check. Once again the food was very good, but Im ambivalent about going back because of the service.
