I really wanted to like this place not only because of how closely located to my home, but also because it doesnt reside in a mini-mall like just about anythiing else around here does which to me cheapens an establishment completely. The first visit, we started with the panko fried shrimp and were slightly taken aback when our entrees arrived first to which we learned that somehow even with the iPad ordering system, the shrimp never made it to the kitchen or it was forgotten. Interesting as we were only one of three tables so it couldnt have been due to being busy. Because the entrees were delicious, we decided to overlook that and made the decision to return. Our second visit, I believe Katharine waited on us and everything was truly amazing and I was so pleased that we certainly forgot about the shrimp, ordered and received it for this visit and even after leaving the restaurant spoke well into the evening about how great this place is and how it is our new favorite. Third visit. The visit that changed everything for us and why we wont be joining you again. We came in on Tuesday to enjoy the $5 wine special. After we were seated and given menus, 3 male servers (Austin eventually taking our table, Craig and another with a manbun) kept on walking by our table for such a long time that just as we were getting ready to walk out were finally met by Austin. Slightly annoyed and due to the length of time not being helped we were able to place the entire order at one sitting. My dad ordered a house Cabernet and I a house Chardonnay and I repeated my order of Chicken Marsala as the entire dish was so amazing the last visit. After getting the wrong wine, (2 Cabernets were dropped off) and already being a bit annoyed that we were not waited on in a timely fashion, couldnt wait to get my entree and wrap up this visit. When the entree arrived, I noticed the potatoe that comes with the dish was completely different than what I got the last time which added to my annoyance but before I took a bite only to find the entire dish lukewarm at best. At this point Ive had it and I didnt eat more than 3 bites and I just wanted to go somewhere else. Austin offered to get me something different and I refused (I was very cordial the whole visit btw) and my dad had better luck so he finished his order. When the check arrived we then noticed that the mistaken wine had not been removed from the order which added insult to injury and solidified our decision that with 2/3 visits gone wrong, we cannot trust that it will go any different than it has. Sadly, Austin didnt get tipped that evening.

I write reviews with the hope that I never have to write a bad one; I want people to find great places to eat. This is a gem. Its along a stretch of Hwy 20 that doesnt offer much in scenery or food, and if youre not careful youll drive right past it, but please dont miss it. Great atmosphere, great service, and Liz does an amazing job making you feel like part of the family. This is the kind or restaurant that people that have passions about food and family want to own or work at. The food is great, a little pricey for the local demographic, but not for the quality. I strongly recommend the blue cheese wedge; if its not on the menu, but dont be afraid to ask. Please dont waste your time with pizza, if thats what you want there is a Pizza Hut down the road. Enjoy some quality with the veal masala, or the grouper with white wine sauce; or my personal favorite: pork saltimbocca (sage, mushrooms, prosciutto). When you want something more than another Carrabbas franchise, this is the drive worth making. Enjoy

The food was really good, but for what you pay for the food, you really should get more. MY husband got lasagna and was $12 for a seriously small piece and it didnt even come with salad.... I could have made a huge pan from scratch cheaper than that! I got chicken marsala, and it came with some gross cabbage... you didnt get a choice of sides, and none of the entrees came with salads! Im sorry, but for $12-$15 a plate for a small portion, you should get a salad. We also got brushetta, and for $6 you get 4 small pieces of bread with brushetta on it. The service was okay, even though our waitress didnt bring out our food or refill our drinks; the bus boy did, and I hope she tipped him out, because he was working his butt off, and he was very polite. The owner was really nice too. Bottom line: Over priced for small portions. Food tastes good enough to go back again. I would give 5 stars if the value was better and the service was better!

My husband and I totally enjoyed our experience at Venti! We were greeted by a cute hostess named Christine and Danny was our server. The restaurant was easy to find, easy to park and seating was plentiful. The bread was warm and fresh and served with a dipping seasoned oil..yum. I had the homemade ravioli and marinara and hubby had the veal parm with spagetti (yup REAL veal not a patty)!!...well, let me say that everything was very fresh tasting and the sauce was extra special. The decor could use a little something, but everything was super clean and orderly....looks like a simple flower or something is missing...nothing more than that. I rather like the uncluttered look. We will return, probably tonight with my two visiting brothers. I love the homemade aspect of this Italian Bistro! BRAVO!

The food was good and had good service. OVERPRICED, though. Simple pasta entree, no drink, no salad or appetizer or dessert, with 15% tip and tax was almost $25 for one person! Olive oil dipping sauce tasted like relish and I thought it was horrible, but found out from the waitress that its made with a variety of olives. No wonder I didnt like it -- I dont like olives! Food was a bit bland; I kept reaching for the salt and pepper.

Aside from my food being cross contaminated with shellfish (Im allergic, but I chose the lemon, butter, garlic sauce - so my fault) the food was insanely delicious. I took my mother and grandmother as a treat and we were all very impressed with the food. I recommend getting there as soon as they open, as it fills up very quickly. Can be a little loud due to the eating area, but the food more than makes up for it.

Our first visit and we will be going back. This was definitely a step above the other local italian restuarants and chains. The food and service were really good. It was not an overly busy evening but many times we have driven by, it has been packed. A restaurant does not pack in the crowds and stay in business if there were consistent problems. Am excited about going again.

First time to visit the restaurant. We had great service from our waitress. The bartender, Liz was great to chat with and made excellent drinks. We had two seafood dishes that were very well prepared and had excellent taste. The cost per person included several high end drinks. The entree cost was very reasonable.
